I took my car in for an oil change... a few weeks later I still smelt oil burning so I took my car into the dealer and $180 later, they told me the oil filter was not installed correctly. I asked the Mngr (Moses) to pay for the $180 for the correction, showed them the dealer invoice and had the dealership send him an email with details. They declined to pay. Besides just being horrible at oil changes, they also lied and pointed to a little rust on my radiator saying that was a sign that I needed to have my radiator flushed (total BS). Since I live close to Firestone Complete Auto Care I decided to go to them. I made an appointment and they were able to take me the next day. I walk in and was greet by such a polite young man. He wrote up the slip and was going to call or text me after they started doing the inspection. I received a call that everything was fine but I needed new tires to pass inspection. I went back to speak with him and he explained that because my tires were 10 years old, they were very dry and had little cracks in them...no surprise there! So he recommended several tires in all different price ranges. I spoke with my husband and we chose one of the better Bridgestone brand tires (which is what we had on the car.). He gave us all of the discounts and promotions being offered and we paid less for the best tires than we would have for the lower priced ones. I believe after a $180 rebate Visa card, $50 discount then another 5% off the total with alignment and balancing netted out to $550 . When I picked up my car and drove home I definitely noticed a huge difference ...the ride is smooth, the car handles much better with no pulling to the right and it is so much quieter! I would definitely recommend the Firestone in Warwick Mall to everyone.
