Love Greenfield's! I'm sure to stop by one of their locations anytime I'm in Greenville. They're lightly toasted and perfectly chewy every time. I tend to skew toward everything bagels with scallion cream cheese, but they're all winners. I also surprisingly love the nova cream cheese even though I'm generally not a huge fan of smoked salmon, but for whatever reason theirs is delicious! This location also has a great selection of different blends of hot coffees, as well as bottled and fountain drinks. If you love bagels, you'll definitely want to check them out! read more

Super clean and great customer service from the employees. I want to start by saying when I tried my mocha iced coffee there was a weird orange-y flavor to it and when I brought it up an employee she made me a new one right away. The new one tasted much better and more mocha-y. We went here for Sunday brunch and the bagels we had were amazing. Ingredients were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the meal. I had the smoked brisket on everything bagel with a side of pasta. The pasta was zesty and pretty flavorful. My bagel was AMAZING! My gf got the pastrami egg and cheese omelette on cheddar bagel. I tried it and it was really good too. This was my first time sitting in and eating at this location and I have to say I really liked it. We'll be coming back for more for sure! Only complaint would be the lids for the coffee did not stay on the cups well and we almost spilled our drinks twice. They did acknowledge that they were having trouble with those lids though so hopefully they'll address that soon. read more

The Employees Don't Get The Tips!!!! Went to pick up bagels. Upon checking out, I was presented tipping options. I simply asked the cashier 'who gets the tips? Do you split them?'. The response: no....its complicated. What???? I asked about the cash jar, do they receive get that. Answer was no!! Been meaning to stop by the new outlet in Greer. WTH was I waiting for? Not crowded, clean and well staffed. We both had bagels and I had a Nova plate with wonderful smooth cream cheese, lox, red onion and tomato. Portions were very generous and service was prompt and polite. The best part of the meal was the Thai carrot soup. Creamy, tasty with hints on ginger and lemon grass. Since this outlet is a mile and a half from my place we will return regularly for Jewish deli goodness! read more

Visited here on a Saturday and was told that they couldn't take our order because the General Manager left the store crying. When they opened as Greenfields Bagels, I was excited to see a place on this side of town. The service was nothing like the original location. I Don't know what happened, but the new name also brought worse service. Today, I had a simple order, a toasted bagel with butter. As I'm ordering, I say it is to go. The young man types in the information, then asks is it for here? No, I had said to go. He asks for my name, I give it to him, he butchered the spelling. Obviously they don't teach spelling anymore in school. If you don't know how to spell a name, then ask. Two other people waiting for their orders. Three workers behind the counter. They don't seem too organized on fulfilling the orders. When mine finally comes out, he brings it in a tray. For the third time, I have to say it is to go. We love their bagels, but the poor service has caused us to go elsewhere. We order ahead and prepay for pickup at the window. This is supposed to give us 2 free bagels, but that doesn't always work. I have complained about finding burned bagels. The staff can't seem to get it together. There is always a new face at the pickup window and on the phone. It is not worth the hassle. A few things. It was my fault for not reading carefully when ordering a BLT, they don't have real bacon, just nasty turkey bacon. Aside from that, the meat was not proportioned properly on the bread and all lumped in the center. Tomatoes felt and tasted like they've been sitting out in the heat. The pickle was a tiny sliver that seemed to have a discolored murky complexion; the taste lingered and felt off so I had to look some stuff up. Turns out this is a classic case of a bad pickle to the definition. Definitely wouldn't be my first second or even third option as far as delis go. read more

This location is great. I didn't like the other Greenfields Bagels because it was always busy and it would take way to long to get your food. The bagels are always fresh at this location and you can be in and out of here with your food in less than 5 minutes. When I was in college in Ohio, there was a bagel deli not far from campus that I would frequent, whose owner was a friend of the family. Not only did Greenfield's bring back memories, they set a new standard for a breakfast bagel, especially the pastrami, egg, and cheese on everything. It was so good that I had to get that for breakfast on my birthday! My wife loved the everything bagels with cream cheese that I brought home the first time, too. I'm so excited that this location is now open! Everything here is just as delicious as the downtown location, and I actually really like the look of this location a bit more. It has a very modern feel to it, and it is also very spacious. I had a sunflower seed bagel and my partner had a bagel sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese. They were both hot and fresh. The coffee is also very good, with a rather large selection. I can't wait to go back, no more driving downtown for my Greenfield's fix! read more

Just recently moved to the area from a DC suburb in Maryland, where there was an abundance of phenomenal jewish delis/bakeries, so I've had my fair share of good deli food! Heard about this place from family, as it is only 5 minutes from our house. Let me just say i have found the local spot that is just as good (if not better) than places back in Maryland. I tried their corned beef sandwich on jalapeño bagel with a side of macaroni salad, and it was so delicious! OK so this is a great bakery! It's proximity is perfect to where I run errands and do other things. However, I am only giving them three stars because of the lack of help with the service. It was very rainy morning, I had my two-year-old with me, I made my order and I asked that maybe I could just come around to the pick up window to get my already paid for order. This would be so I wouldn't have to juggle bagels and basically my hot coffee and a 2 head old. The person, who is not serving anyone at the pick up window, was like "no that's only for pick up orders if you want to have anything come to the window you have to have scheduled a pick up order". I'm thinking, why can't I just drive around? (It was not at all busy at this time) Another critique that I think could be really helpful to the business is to have more gourmet coffee available... Basically there are no high end coffee shops in this direct area, especially close to the high school or any of the schools in the area. It could be a great benefit to this place to have someone making lattes. Plus they serve their coffee out of a Styrofoam cup which just made me feel like I was getting chemicals leached into my hot coffee...I will definitely be back however because the bagels are really tasty and other than the whole window situation the service was decent! read more

So Yelp pulled my original review so I can't comment on the first time I went. Second time, at 1130 for lunch, they only had "sweet" bagels left (cinnamon etc.) Who wants a Nova Special on Honey wheat? Third time I went on a Sunday around 1. They were out of Chicken Salad. Fourth time was today Dec 24th. They just told the guy in front of me that they are out of Bagels. At 1215. They only have white, wheat, and Rye bread. I'm done with y'all. If you want the classic Greenfields experience go to the one on Laurens Rd. The one in Greer is just not worth the hassle. Happy Hanukkah guys. Pretty good deli for the Greenville area. Clean deli and staff seem to be learning their responsibilities at the 2nd Greenfield's. Service is very good. However, the main contents that make up the sand which are way too small for the price paid. I told her I was new to ordering from them and wasn't sure how there website on Grubhub or DoorDash worked. She didn't offer any assistance as to we can add toppings and veggies etc. to our sandwiches. So three out of four orders were blah . Bagels to go we're still chewy and soft after I brought them home. They have legit good black and white cookies, but sometimes are sold out when I go in.
