    Everything bagel with avocado spread

Cute breakfast & lunch spot. This was my first visit. The staff was super friendly. My bagel with avocado spread was delicious. My daughter loved her gluten-free bagel. She was super excited to find a place that served GF bagels!

Super clean and great customer service from the employees. I want to start by saying when I tried my mocha iced coffee there was a weird orange-y flavor to it and when I brought it up an employee she made me a new one right away. The new one tasted much better and more mocha-y. We went here for Sunday brunch and the bagels we had were amazing. Ingredients were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the meal. I had the smoked brisket on everything bagel with a side of pasta. The pasta was zesty and pretty flavorful. My bagel was AMAZING! My gf got the pastrami egg and cheese omelette on cheddar bagel. I tried it and it was really good too. This was my first time sitting in and eating at this location and I have to say I really liked it. We'll be coming back for more for sure! Only complaint would be the lids for the coffee did not stay on the cups well and we almost spilled our drinks twice. They did acknowledge that they were having trouble with those lids though so hopefully they'll address that soon.

Enjoyed a quick lunch here! Nothing all that impressive but not bad either. Enjoyed an onion bagel with turkey and lettuce. Everything was good but doesn't differentiate itself much from other bagel places. They had many options and several side options as well. I'll be coming back to check out more!

Been meaning to stop by the new outlet in Greer. WTH was I waiting for? Not crowded, clean and well staffed. We both had bagels and I had a Nova plate with wonderful smooth cream cheese, lox, red onion and tomato. Portions were very generous and service was prompt and polite. The best part of the meal was the Thai carrot soup. Creamy, tasty with hints on ginger and lemon grass. Since this outlet is a mile and a half from my place we will return regularly for Jewish deli goodness!

    Where is the cream cheese?

Greenfields! I can't say how disappointed I was with my bagel today. WHY are you skimping on the cream cheese? We get bagels every week and there is less and less cream cheese every week. Couldn't believe what little there was today. Why order cream cheese, pay for it and not even get a full spread on both sides. Do better! So disappointing!

Riverside Bagels makes and sells the best bagels, they are the perfect texture and taste, wonderfully chewy. Happy to have found them.

Our first choice to eat was the Farehouse, conveniently located, but they had a long back up in the kitchen due to a very large party of two dozen or more. I'm thinking, what do I know on this side of town and Sub Station II came to mind. In the late 1970's I used to visit here frequently for their New York style subs and they had the only and first Space Invaders video game in the area. Probably around 1977. The reason for only five stars is because they have done nothing to the interior since 1977. There are items stored out in the open that shouldn't be, like the vacuum cleaner and other supplies - just an oddity. The restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms, but it was bare bones for tables & chairs. There were two sandwich makers plus the cashier/manager who also made sandwiches. He was good about washing hands after handling money and then donning gloves to jump in on the sandwich making. He was also very thorough about making sure he made the sandwiches exactly the way each customer wanted. There were about 8 orders in front of our 6 orders, but time for our sandwiches came quicker than I thought it would. What makes the place is the sub, supposedly they are New York style. They are everywhere now in this style, but in 1977 this was the only game in town and they are still very good. The meats are fresh cut, the bread is baked on premises from a "special recipe" formulated just for Sub Station II and each sub bread is toasted so that it can hold up to the "all the way" style: oil, vinegar, lettuce, onions, tomato, oregano, salt and pepper (red pepper). Everyone was surprised at how good the subs were and we made a note to return more often. And we made it to the theater in plenty of time too!

I walked around the store and bought things on sale. Sadly, the sale prices that are posted is not how things ring up. The other problem, I bought a smoked chicken a whole chicken. I was very excited to get home and eat it. It wasn't fully cooked. I didn't realize and ate a chicken wing. I also bought a piece of cooked salmon. I'm not sure if it was the salmon or the chicken but all of a sudden I was so incredibly nauseous! Then I looked for my receipt. I had no memory of the cashier giving me a receipt. I looked through all my bags. I looked in my purse. I looked in my wallet. No receipt. Oh and I bought a bottle of evolution. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Opened it up when I got home and it was bitter, which meant it was going bad already. And I went directly from the store home so it didn't sit in my car and get warm. Since I didn't have a receipt and I felt I was overcharged... The charge of my credit card wasn't what I thought I had paid... I returned everything to the store. They were able to download my receipt. They did give me a complete credit for everything I bought. But there was something I went back and bought. Simple syrup mixers for alcoholic drinks. They were on sale for $2.99 and usually $4.35 or $4.50. My original purchase I had bought five. That's definitely a good deal and I use this product all the time. After returning everything, I went back to the shelves and grabbed two bottles of simple syrup. When I went to pay, here's a surprise: they rang up at full price. As I walked into the store, and as I walked out of the store, I kept telling people to check their receipts. It's very common for grocery stores to have sale prices posted, but not update their computer system and if you're not paying attention, you do not get the sale price. Well, sadly, I guess this is what this chain does. I hope the people who run this chain read my review. I hope they check how they cook their chickens in store and sell them as fully cooked. I know Costco and all the other grocery store chains do not sell undercooked hot chickens. Someone's not doing their job or they don't have their thermometers working. Very sad.
