Wait time wasn't bad for a Sunday. Staff were always checking on us and communicating how much longer the wait would be and also if we needed anything well eating. Prices were great as well as the aesthetic. read more

The food was really good. The service is terrible. I had to stand in line for 20 minutes to place a Togo order. I called 15 times and no one ever picked up. Once I got inside I saw several open tables it seems like the staff can't handle more than 20 ppl at a time. read more

I used to come in for dinner but they changed hours of operation. I like to meet my friends here to catch up. Parking is really small so getting there early is key. You can also park around the block and walk since it's right next to the car wash it's a little hassle to get into. The food is worth the hassle though. I picked up a friend for lunch and also needed to have my car washed. Dropped my car at the car wash and went to grab lunch at the Riverside Grill directly next door. It is small, almost hidden but nicely appointed. It was busier than I expected but we were seated right away. Service was great and the food even better. I had the Ortega Burger and salad. It was a very nice salad and a great option instead of fries. The burger was absolutely delicious. My friend had a BLT omelet with avocado and home fries, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We were well taken care of and didn't feel rushed. We will be coming back very soon. This is a lovely place to eat. Decided to celebrate my mothers birthday here for breakfast. Staff was so attentive and profesional. It is always cool seeing the owner of the restaurant working alongside staff, really shows the passion they have. Food was very delicious, portions are filling. The place is small and hard to get parking. The location is next to a car wash. We did have breakfast and the food was okay the coffee is strong if you like that, the down fall was the creamer was spoiled and took a while to get a new cup. Parking was horrible. This restaurant is very busy. I had to get up at several times to get supplies. They gave us the wrong receipt but they are busy so it's understandable. The food portions are quite small. Many of the dishes don't come with many side items. My family liked the food but they had no idea what I was doing to accommodate everyone. With its unassuming exterior, I was surprised (and a little skeptical) to see how highly rated it was on Yelp. I left overstuffed and satisfied, a skeptic no longer. The breakfast burrito was outstanding: generous helpings of juicy bacon nestled among egg, potato, cheese, and pico de gallo, wrapped in an amazing flour tortilla. It was paired with chips and a bright salsa, which I ended up pouring over the burrito. Despite a rush of customers, nobody seemed to wait longer than a handful of minutes to be seated. The service was immensely friendly, constantly refilling the coffee I had ordered and speedily handling my bill when I was ready to leave. I would give more stars for the food, but the service was horrible. After being seated by the hostess, the waiter came by to take our drink orders. I then realized that we were not given menus. As he started to walk away to get our drinks, I asked for the menus. He made a face as if the question bothered him, and rudely gestured towards a tiny QR code at the side of the table. A nicer way the waiter could've responded is by simply smiling and saying, "the menu is on the QR code on your table." No words came from his mouth, just a rude gesture pointing to the menu. We are back in visiting one of our favorite places to eat here in our beautiful City of Chino. The waiters/waitresses are the best you can ever encounter (shout out to Javier & Jose). They are very courteous, friendly and they treat you like family. And, the most important part of coming here for so many years now aside from the excellent service is the FOOD. Everything on the menu is finger licking good; outstanding...never disappointing. I also want to mention their Orange Juice , their Oj is THE BEST you will ever drink, literally! First time here in many years. My food was literally tasteless, and my wife ordered the fish and she thinks that they heated up Van De Camps fish from the box. I had the "Beefeater" sandwich, which comes with au ju dipping sauce. The meat was completely tasteless with zero seasoning, the fries had zero salt, the salt shaker is a grinder type so the salt is like chunks which made it difficult to actually salt the fries. Our server never checked on us...ever...we had to call the manager over to refill our drinks. We chose to eat inside instead of the patio because it's so hot outside...but it was very hot inside the restaurant, we asked the manager if the AC was on...he said yes but it didn't feel like it at all...Overall it was just a really bad experience...bad service, tasteless food, uncomfortable. Stuck between a carwash and a gas station; parking is stiff. But this cute little place delivers solid food and service. Service with a smile. Cool little bar with an exceptional handful of draft choices. I usually pop in for a beer while my car is washed next door. At times (Sunday mornings) there can be a long wait. The food is out of bounds. Different, but good. Clean, fresh bites. In short, BOMB! Some memorable bites. Such as the "a la Roma Omelet". Basil and Gorgonzola?! Yes! Their menu has a wide variety of food, and I was very impressed at the presentation and quality of the food. It's on the pricier side, but it's worth your money! So I got the turkey excellente with green salad and creamy cilantro sauce. Omg, the crispness of the bread was so perfect and the bacon and turkey on my first bite was so juicy and good. The flavor was there and nothing to be picky about. I enjoyed the salad and the sauce, and I think the sauce tasted better on the sandwich than it did on my salad haha. I recently went for Sunday brunch. Luckily no one was waiting but there were short lines at times. As soon as you walk in there's tight indoor seating. To the right there's a bar and a small open kitchen. To the left there's outside covered patio seating which is more roomy. We got the steak and eggs and the BLT omelette. Steak and eggs were typical of any breakfast place. Omelette was yummy. Home fries sort of bland. Orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed but tasted delicious and so did the pineapple juice. The reason I didn't give it a 4 is because the service was sort of slow and very unfriendly. No one ever cracked a smile and we were served by different people. Would I go go back? Yeah probably. Another scrumptious visit to the Riverside Grill & Bar in downtown Chino. We went with the never disappointing Steak Hoagie plates with steak fries. These hoagies seem to get better and better. Juicy meat (no fat), grilled and chopped onions, peppers, and of course cheese. The Steak Hoagies also come with dipping sauce. In regards to the customer service, it was top notch as always.
