Those high expectations were met and they delivered above and beyond service again! We parked and was immediately greeted in a nice way by Honda Employees but this was my friend buying his second car, also this was his first new car purchase and I knew I had to refer him to Rick. They could have gotten two sales today. Out of all the Honda guys, the Volkswagen guy helped us. All 8/9 guys huddled at the entrance were too busy measuring their _____. We opened cars on our own. I agree with Mike's statement. My honda civic always has these minor problems but it keeps reoccurring! My sun visor always breaks and there's a rattling noise in the back of my car that they can never figure out. Service is rude. The manager or whatever named Irwin? is rude when you try to schedule appointments to come in. Brushes everyone off and employees are not friendly. I am giving Riverside Honda one star for a fair reason. I wanted to purchase a CRV EXL OR EX from them but they began to tag team me from the beginning. I was contacted by an internet person which is standard Going through True Car. I was told to ask for him time and time again in a phone conversation. So when I did ask for him I was given the run around and suddenly "assigned" to a salesman who followed me and my family into the door. I reluctantly accepted because I wanted the Internet person to get his credit. I went around the lot, found a car that was more than I needed. I considered the vehicle and then the tag team pressures began with the lag time in waiting to wear me down. After an hour of asking questions and waiting long stretches for answers me and my family left. I was disappointed in their lack of honest straight forwardness, trying to pressure me into financing and lack of ethics. And I bought my car as EXACTLY what I wanted in the colors I wanted and treated with the respect and dignity I deserved. Gave my hard earned money to DCH Honda of Temecula. If I could give a negative star I most definitely would.. see. My mom decided to trade in a Chevrolet Colorado in for a Honda Accord. Well, we were attended in by Brandon, which he is cool, but his manager Ramiro completely obliviated my moms credit. We were told that the trade would be paid of completely, which it wasn't sticking by mom with two car payments one of which was in the possession of Riverisde Honda. They payed one month for her, apparently a deal finalizes with the first payment so they went ahead and payed it themselves in hope that she would keep the car. She goes in, wondering what was going on after them not telling her the bank she was "financed" by, them admitting the trade was never payed off she in anger told them that she chooses to not do business with them. Salesman will get you any way possible, and true, buyers remorse is barely covered in 24 hours, she willingly thought the Accord would be better for her, but she was lied to just so they can get a sale. She has not driven the accord in over two months, collecting dust, waiting for Honda to pick the vehicle up getting calls for late payments for both cars. Be careful who you do business with. Riverside Honda has sold me my last 2 new cars and I have been happy with the friendliness and service of this location. I bought a 2010 Honda Civic and my most recent purchase, a 2014 Honda Accord LX. I had bought my previous 2 Honda's from Spreen Honda and when it came to my 3rd purchase (the 2010 Civic), Spreen was unwilling to give me a decent deal. I was very unhappy with this so I drove directly to Riverside Honda and was pleasantly surprised with their service and understanding. I called Riverside Honda and spoke to a salesman named John Flores. I told him my Civic broke down and I still owed 2 years on the car and the Honda service department (not Riverside's service dept.) could not figure out what was wrong with it. They had the car for 1 week. John came to my house to pick me up and take me to the dealership to discuss my options. He and his Manager Julio helped get me into a 2014 Honda Accord LX. Ironically, Julio was the salesman that sold me my 2010 Civic. The professionalism, character and positive attitudes of both John and Julio made my car buying experience pleasurable. It was a delight to talk and work with these people and I would most definitely recommend going to them for your car buying needs and questions. John followed me to my house to pick up a check for my down payment. After leaving, my mother commented on how nice of a person he was. I also want to note that John was feeling under the weather and worked far beyond his shift that day to make sure I was taken care of. I will purchase my next car from them and so will my family and close friends. I have bought three vehicle from this place but I guess loyalty isn't in their vocabulary. I went in today to have them look at my vehicle, a 2013 Honda Accord. It has been having rear end issues, which three other (respectable and well established) places told me the shocks and struts are the problem. I have kept up on my alignments and tire rotations. However my rear wheel have cupped wear on them. Which any ASE certified mechanic will tell you, its either worn shocks and struts or improper balance of the tires. However, as I have kept up with all the rotations and balancing of my vehicle there was only one logical solution. I still have a warranty on this vehicle. So naturally I took it in to HONDA, to use my warranty. Big surprise, it's not covered. Not only is it not covered the person who "helped" me said "maybe the places you take your car are telling you they are doing the maintenance but aren't actually doing it"....whoa did you really just bad mouth another establishment? Additionally, I was told, "well HONDA hasn't done your maintenance so we have to charge you to make sure your alignment isn't off"...Seriously, charge me to tell me what I already know...its aligned and it's not the alignment, I have the proof with me. Secondly, without even putting it on a rack, just by simply observing the vehicle in the parking area, I was told "your alignment is off because you have aftermarket wheels"....Whoa again, damn if you can tell that without any type of machine to actually prove it's off, you must be psychic... what are tomorrows winning lotto numbers? I was spoken to by their maintenance department as if I was a "moron" and didn't know a thing about cars (which is my hobby), not to mention she"helped" me simply by reading everything off a computer. Then spoke to me as if I was "dumb" and she was an expert in all things. RIVERSIDE METRO AUTO GROUP doesn't know the meaning of loyalty, is only about their bottom line, and will destroy ties with loyal customers rather than issue a warranty solution. You have lost a multiple car buying customer, and will always tell my friends, family, and colleagues to never return to your establishment. My wife and I had a great experience buying our Pilot from them. Jonathan W. did an excellent job in listening to our needs and worked very hard to make sure we were taking care of. Scott from service was also very helpful and went the extra mile to get our moonroof timing fixed (electronics went haywire after our battery had to be changed, glad it was done now and not later). One thing that was a little disappointing was waiting close to 3 hours to get our car fine tuned before driving it off the lot. There were some scuff marks on our vehicle that could be buffed out but because it was so late that the next time I bring it in to get my accessories installed I'm hoping to get it buffed or at least detailed. I received a letter in the mail from Honda saying that due to a factory defect that was causing holes in the AC line that I would be able to bring in my Civic to any dealer to get it fixed free of charge. When I went to drop off my car the guy who checked in the car (Andy) explained that they would look at it but that if it was not the issue covered under the warranty that they would charge me $134 to diagnose the problem. I sign the paperwork and the next day get a call saying the issue is with some other AC component and not covered under this warranty so I can either pay $1,200 to get it fixed or $134 to get my car back. The guy ended up only charging me $64 dollars in diagnostics but this hardly made me feel better. I felt like the victim of some cheap scam. O and I had requested that they not wash my car because I had just washed and waxed it the day before and it was perfectly clean and I didn't want some car wash machine to rub off the wax job I had put on it. But they washed it anyway. How do I know? My windshield didn't look like this when I dropped it off. They need to clean whatever machine they have that cleans the cars. Or just follow customer directions. I wasted my time and money just to get my car back dirtier than I left it. Avoid the high fees and poor quality work and just take your car to a local mechanic or oil change service. Ignore their cheery and fake customer service demeanor and look at the prices and quality of work. read more
