This is my first Yelp review in life. But I think I should let people know. Worst store and pricing ever. Very deceptive. DON"T waste your time there. The most deceptive dealer I've even been to. They sent you a big discount(over 12%) certificate online and would not give OTD pricing over the phone/email but asked you to come into the dealer to hear OTD pricing. I asked them on the phone and said I hope the discount is not some sort of bait to lure customers to the store and then surprise them with a mandatory expensive accessory package. The rep said oh that's a good question, and then said there could be accessories depending on the vehicle but still would not give more details or accessory pricing on the phone. The next day, their internet rep Kevin Fan called me and said their discount is the highest and said ttl would be the same at every dealer and still said the accessory pricing depend on what installed on which car and wouldn't give me number or even a range. I thought accessory should cost no more than a few hundred dollars and therefore I still drove 2 hours to the store. When I got there, and the same rep(Oscar, who I spoke on the phone) said EVERY car in that model comes with a mandatory $2400 accessory package(other dealer charges $300 to 500) and CAN NOT be removed. In the end, their OTD was the highest ever(I contact 8 Honda dealers in SoCal). They could have told/warned me through the phone to not drive up there, but none of them did. I mean, who the hell would have thought they mandate a $2400 accessory pack!! Their approach is very shady and deserve the exposure. read more

I've actually came for an oil change before and he was off that day so I came back when he was there. I can't say enough nice things about Paul. I would give more than 5 stars if it was an option. Just purchased a 2018 Honda Accord EX-L from Riverside Honda. Huge benefit of this location was huge selection. We had been to three other dealers and they just didn't have any inventory. Noel took his time to show us all the color and feature combinations we wanted to see. That really nailed down our decision to purchase. Albert helped us with our quote. We did have a quote from TrueCar which helped with price but heads up that you have to use Honda Financing which may not be great if there are no promotions at the moment. Once we purchased the car they washed it and we did the walk-through with Albert. He sat in the car and explained all the features and buttons. NOTE: This was about 1hr after they closed too so we were very impressed with his service. It was night time when we purchased our vehicle so there are some marks here and there that we couldn't see right away that they are going to fix. Overall I'd recommend Riverside Honda. Go informed. Keep track of the numbers. Don't be afraid to wait on the purchase if they don't have the car with (or more importantly, without) the accessories you want/don't want. Do not even bother doing any type of negotiation with anyone online. They don't honor pricing and refuse to give you a trade in value prior to visiting the dealership. They did not even look at my car after I made the mistake of going in person. Just took the vin and mileage. Why couldn't I send that before even though they said no? And when I got there the person I was working with online didnt even help me. I guess they are paid on how many people they can con on going in person. Oh, and they won't match or beat any competitor pricing like they say they will. I have been using Riverside Honda for all of my Accord service maintenance for several years now because I found their service dept didn't try to upsell unnecessary repair unlike other dealers I've used. I love my Hondas having owned 5 in the last 20 years so of course when I started looking for a new small SUV I contacted Honda for quotes. I received several quotes from my local Honda Dealers on a 2017 CRV. Riverside Honda quoted me a great price for a CRV 2017. The price was so good I assumed the offer was for a pre-owned CRV asked the associate, The Internet Manager, what the mileage was. He replied no it was definitely a valid offer on a New CRV. So, of course I went in to start the purchase process. When we say down to talk money and I reminded the Rep of his offer he basically said, "oops, my bad. We can't sell it for that but we can do this." And I got the same from the sales mgr. I believe at least the Rep used "Click Bait" tactics. Using bait and switch to get me into the dealership to make a sale. This is false advertising and dishonest. They have now lost a customer for all of their services. I had come in hoping to get rear brake pads replaced. On the website they have a 15% coupon for high mileage cars (120K or more miles) on services of $200 or more, and I was expecting to use that. When I called the dealership beforehand to inquire about the price for rear brake pad replacements, I was told $209. They didn't say it was a special or anything. When I then actually came into the dealership, and mentioned the coupon to the service rep, he said that would be off the regular non-coupon price. I expressed my confusion, saying that $209 was the price I was given on the phone, and the coupon price for rear brake pad replacement is actually $199 as shown on your website (I attached a screenshot of both coupons from your website). He acted confused, and then said the regular price is actually $217, and that the $199 coupon would actually be cheaper for me and they would honor that. While he did some stuff on the computer, I pulled out my phone to calculate some numbers, thinking that the 15% off of $217 would still be cheaper. And sure enough, it is, so I asked him what he said the regular price is again, because 15% off would be cheaper. Then he started pretending he didn't remember what he said, and started pushing some numbers into the calculator, and then told me that I don't remember what I said but the actual cost for rear brake pads is actually $292. At that point I was frustrated and annoyed and simply walked out. I left this same above review on Google, to which the owner Richard responded that I reach out to him so they can correct the issue. I emailed him at the email address he included in his response, but after 5 days, I still haven't received a reply back to the email. So their attempt to remedy this negative experience is just for show, and they don't mean it apparently. And Richard, if you're reading this, please don't bother replying if you're not sincere about it. Doesn't matter anyway since I have finally got my brakes done somewhere else now. read more

Honestly speaking straight forward, this dealership is rude as hell! Salesmen are rude, Sales managers are rude. They try to talk down to us women trying to convince us to buy something we don't want. I went in to this Honda dealer super excited, because I've been interested in a Honda Accord for quite sometime. A sales guy named Barry helped us out in the beginning. My father in law is very friendly and knows about negotiating. My father in law had mentioned to Barry that my fiancée originally wanted a Honda Civic but ended up going with a Camaro. Barry talked down to my father in law, he kept telling him that he wasn't at Chevrolet. To get that Chevy mentality out of his head. That they didn't do discounts or rebates but they had the best cars. Then another salesman tried helping us and also talked down. We asked for Ramiro(because we were referred by someone to go to him) and he talked down to us. Not one of these three people tried working with us for a deal. They even tried offering me a Honda Civic. It's not the first time I have heard bad things about this place but decided to check it out for myself. Definitely would not come back to this Honda! Make sure you look into other dealership prices before stepping foot in this place. My husband and I had located 2 of the exact same certified Honda's, but one of them was about an hour from us while Riverside Honda is only about 20 mins away. Riverside Honda had the vehicle listed for more than the other dealership even though theirs had more miles and more damage to the outside. We asked them if they would price match and when the sales guy brought over his manager he basically called us liars about the other dealerships price all while punching one of his fists into his other hand. Very disrespectful and unprofessional service. Needless to say we went with the other dealership to purchase the vehicle that was in way better condition and had less miles all while getting much better service. I bought a 2020 Honda Civic everything was going well until I went to the financing Department and then they put these addon that they didn't did explained to me during test drive. The add-on was pre detailing every 6 months on my car that cost 600.00 and Theft Patrol app that shows you where my car is located if stolen that cost 1,200. The Theft Patrol app doesn't even work. They told me they will come and get it fix that was a week ago. I called the Honda dealer 3 times talk to Paulina the Finance Department and Omar the manager and they assured me that they will get it done but still waiting what a great dealership! read more

I am a 2017 Honda civic owner and purchased my car from Riverside Honda. For the couple years I have been getting my maintenance done at Riverside Honda and my service advisor, Maria Navarro, has been exceptional. She works with me one on one and anytime I need any type of service with my car she helps me with a smile on her face. Last year I had trouble with my glove compartment, and she made sure that was handled quickly. Now recently, I noticed that my car plastics/ bumpers were yellowing (I have a white car) I was nervous to bring it to the dealer because I didn't think they would notice, but since it was still under warranty there was no reason I should not bring it. Maria also noticed the discoloration and handled everything so the problem would be fixed. My car looks so much better now, and I love my Honda. I am glad I have a service advisor that I could work with when anytime I have any questions, I can call her directly and don't have to go through different people all the time. I just recently moved to Riverside and would like to now use Riverside Honda, unfortunately every time I call they never answer the phones. During viewing the vehicle inventory we we're temporarily assisted by Brandon, then pushed off to Jesse then pushed off to Saul. Our family wished we would of started off with Saul a pretty good guy with knowledge. Being pushed off in the manner disrespectfully our family decided to move on to another dealer who could better help us. Bummed due to we value our time but Riverside Honda did not. We bought a brand new 2017 CR-V at this dealership. When we took delivery of the car it was early evening and getting dark so we couldn't really check the car for imperfections and we drove straight home. The next morning I noticed that there were paint chips on the front and rear driver side doors at the door edges. There was also scratches in the paint on the driver side door. My huband and i inquired online for a quote on a car and was contacted by a Jaylan Beard. It had been a few days i had another email asking if i was still in the market for a car and i quote this coming from the email ... "I would be more than happy to send you an updated price quote." so i replied saying yes i was still in the market asking for a quote. He then asked when i can visit. I asked again if he can send a quote via email because id like to have an idea before going in. This is the reply i got " It has already been sent Manuel, Let me know when you are serious about visiting." First of all if i am asking for it that means i no longer have it ... second of all you said youd happily send me an updated price. Clearly customer service is not their priority and after reading some of these reviews i think people can agree on that. I leased a brand new vehicle on June 30th 2017. The dealership itself is beautiful and clean. Looks like a place where you would have a good experience. Let me tell you how my experience went down. I was greeted by Ed, a very friendly salesman. I told him what I was interested in and what I could afford and he brought me what I wanted to see. Once my wife and I decided on a vehicle, we sat down to start talking numbers. We had a very strict budget and were very firm on what we wanted for our trade in. Ed was amazing and literally did everything he could to make the deal work for us. Ed made car buying a very pleasant experience and honestly, I don't think he could have done anything more to make the experience with him more enjoyable. If I ever go back to get another car, I will definitely ask for him to be my sales man. Why only 3 stars if I had such a great experience? Here is where things went downhill. After coming to an agreement with sales, it was now time to do all the paper work and sign the documents. Enter Finance Manager Safi. Seemed like a nice enough guy, he liked to talk A LOT. We probably could have got out of there faster, but that's ok. We sign all of our documents shake hands, head outside, clean out our belongings from our trade in, and leave in our brand new car. Awesome right? Fast forward 2 weeks and my trade in is still not paid off. My traded in car now has a late payment. I call my credit union and explain that I have traded in the car and they should be receiving a payoff check any day now. The credit union extends my due date to the 25th of July. On July 20th, they still have not paid off my trade in, and I go on their website and it's for sale. I confirmed via VIN number. I even was given a price quote and had a time set up to come in and test drive my trade in that they still did not pay off. So I call the dealership to speak with Safi to figure out what's going on. He did not return calls and we had no communication from him. On July 22nd, my wife and I went back to the dealership and spoke with a different finance manager who saw that the loan had not been funded yet. He printed out the issue from the bank and took it to Safi. We then met with Safi and when I asked what was going on, he claimed that they received notification that the contract had an issue with the way it was printed. He tried to tell me that he got the notification that day by showing me the printed date on the paper when it clearly said notice sent on 7/19. That was lie number 1. Then because of my troubles and having to resign the contracts, Safi lowered the payment by 4 dollars. This was lie number 2, as I found out when I had to call the dealership AGAIN a week later. Fast forward to July 30th, and my trade in is still not paid off. My due date for my new car payment is due 8/1 and I still have not received a bill. I call the dealership and speak to Finance Manager Priscilla. She looks into the transaction and sees that it is on hold still and investigates. She called back and explained that the bank would not fund the loan because there was an issue with the price of the maintenance plan and it had to be lowered. (Safi did not lower it for my troubles) She then informed me that we had to come in for a 3rd time to resign another contract with the lower amount on the service contract, which I had already done once with Safi. Priscilla was amazing, when I spoke to her she was genuinely concerned and surprised I had to go through all of this. She kept her promise to get things taken care of that day. She called back as she said she would to notify me of all of the details of the situation, got the trade in paid off even though the loan for the new had not funded, and set up a time for me to come in to resign the contract again. Priscilla was amazing and was very courteous despite my frustrations with the dealership over the phone. On 8/2 my wife and I went back into the dealership to meet with Priscilla to sign the contract again. The due date for the new car would still remain the same 8/1. Priscilla told me that I would need to make the payment when I resigned the contract at the dealership. When my wife and I got there Priscilla was out of the office so we asked to speak to the person who oversees finance. Finance Director Allen met with us and he had been made aware of the situation from Priscilla the previous day. He was very apologetic and listened to me complain. When I was done ranting, he made sure all was correct on the contract so I would not have come back a 4th time. He then told me for my troubles, he was going to take care of the first payment for the new vehicle that was due 8/1. Allen was very honest and was not sure why Safi gave me the run-around and lied. Allen was great and gave me his business card and said if needed anything more just to contact him directly. He corrected the situation and did right thing for the customer. However, the hassle was such a headache. read more

Went to dealership on monday nite, looked around for about 20-25 minutes at cars no one came to assist me. When i walked in the person that did assist me ( shane) was as unprofessional as possible. First he kept checking on his phone every minute, then he uses the word s**t a couple of times in front of my daugjtet and i. He then to proceeds to talk about how he knows this famous person and he shows my daughter and i photos off his Facebook page. Then when we are talking to the finance person and him, he is slouching on the chair on his phone and when the finance person asked him questions he wouldn't look up or take his eyes off the phone and answered yeah and uh uh . left very disappointed.
