Well, my wife and I made it in to Riverside Hyundai this past Saturday. We were in desperate need of a new car. We just settled a suit with Nissan and had to surrender the car we just lemon lawed (4 transmissions in 3 years) looking around to various dealerships and hearing all sorts of promises, we had some credit challenges and none of them could do anything because of it, or didn't want to. I have purchased 2 previous cars from Riverside Hyundai and made great deals. We did not have an appointment this past Saturday and went in with low expectations. We first met Ray in sales, he immediately heard us out on what we were looking for, the challenges we had although we make great money. He immediately directed us to a great used vehicle, 2014 Hyundai Sonata with one previous owner, 55,000 on the odometer, absolutely clean car fax report, was only driven 5000 miles per year and was meticulously taken care of, not a scratch on it, drove great,sunroof, beautiful. Tinted windows. We wanted it and we talked #'s with Ray and the sales manager Ted (a very nice guy) who told me about his previous career like he was talking to a friend. We got the payment below what was expected, they even took off 2 grand of the selling price. We got a used car that looks and performs like a new car. Gil in finance finished up the deal and gave us a 36 k or 3 years service contract. The day couldn't have been better. I could not ask for a better experience! There's a Hyundai dealership close to my house that has been absolutely horrible and I felt like they were ripping us off. From repairs that went wrong, unusual charges and just poor customer service I was done! After the final straw, we took our car to this dealership and the experience was night and day. Sal was the guy who helped us out and he took care of us from day one. We had issues with the AC and a component in the levers for the seats. Thanks to Sal he discovered that we also had a major brake issue that was missed previous times by the other dealership. We had asked the other dealership if our brake pedal squeaking was an issue but they just put some lubricant between the pedals and we had this brake issue for a better part of 2 years and had no idea until Sal brought it to our attention. Through some trial and error and lots of diagnostics, they were able to figure it out. They literally treated us so well from updates every few days to even making sure we were covered when we had issues with our rental car. It took 8 people to fully charge my newly purchased electric car (Ioniq 5) using the charging station at the Riverside Hyundai dealership. 1. Owner used the Riverside Hyundai dealership charging station using the app recommended by the Riverside Hyundai dealership. Did not work. 2. Technician replied, "Sorry, I don't know how to charge". 3. Clerk #1 at Maintenance and repair desk, "sorry, I can't charge your car. Let me call a salesman." 4. Salesman #1, "Sorry, I can't charge your car here. I don't have a card. Let me call another salesman who has a charging card to swipe into the charging station. He is currently at another Hyundai lot. It will take a few minutes for him to get here." 5. Salesman #2, "Let me swipe this card at the charging station." After 10 minutes, it was apparent that the car was not charging. 6. Clerk #2 at maintenance and repair desk, "OK, I think I figured out how to charge the car." Car charged about 10%, but then I had to leave because more than 40 or 50 minutes had passed and I to get to another appointment. 7. Clerk #1, Upon return to the Riverside Hyundai dealership to get windows tinted, "OK, I'll see if I can get your new car charged as part of the service" 8. Mechanic (? assumption) charged the car to 100%. I appreciate Riverside Hyundai dealership going the extra mile and charging my brand new EV to 100%. read more

Liars and thieves. Make sure you get everything in writing when dealing with these people. Clemente sold me a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and offered a few things that now he's claiming he never said. I was about to walk out with my paid off ford explorer when Clemente offered "10 years service, the free Hyundai app and digital key." Now the claims he never said any of those things and was hostile with me over the phone when I was recalling what I heard. He kept saying "they only offer 3 years service" and the supervisor said the same thing. When I attempted to keep them on topic, they continued gaslight me. I know what I heard from Clemente the night I bought my car bc it was one of the main sells for me and I even said it to him like "wow 10 years service that's a good deal". Even went and told my family and friends! So for them to both do the run around and say "we only offer 3 years" is a slap in the face. That's not the argument, the argument is what I was told vs what they really offer but they wouldn't acknowledge that and kept pushing my side if the story off like I didn't know what I heard. On top of that, they were rude and the manager called me "aggressive" when I was simply stating facts. They ended up hanging up on me and leaving me with nothing to make things right. So I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata limited with 156,000 miles on it - I am original owner - I have to start by saying I'm not a big fan of any of the local dealerships . I just don't like their approach and the insane prices that try to extort from me for simple repairs . Anyway we can save that for another whole review 2 weeks ago my motor seized up - the knock sensor activated and caused motor to go into limp mode ( no faster than 10-15 mph ) I took the car and had the electronic code read (p1326) basically the motor blew up I had a loud knocking sound and was in really bad shape Now onto the good news this model year was part of a large recall for non-defects on this motor and the Hyundai dealership in Riverside replaced the motor gave me a rental car and had it all completed within about four or five working days awesome job I can't say enough about Hyundais corporate. stepping up to take care of a known issue The dealership charged me for some new hoses belts and out-of-pocket was less than 400 bucks what an awesome experience. BEWARE OF RIVERSIDE HYUNDAI! THESE GUYS SUCK! I used to take my 2017 Ioniq to the Valvoline oil change center at Mission Grove & Alessandro until it started leaking oil so I took it to Riverside Hyundai to diagnose the problem. I was told that the drain plug was leaking and it was the wrong one so it cost me $140 for a proper plug & oil change. Months down the road it began to leak again so I checked the oil and it was overfilled by 2 quarts! This caused another substantial leak, the Hyundai dealership must have either monkeys or morons doing oil changes! I've had previously problems with this dealership as I have two 2017 Ioniqs and they can't even get the VIN numbers right on which Ioniq they are servicing! Steer clear of these incompetent idiots! I have purchased more than 5 vehicles from this dealership but no more! They can't service what they sell. I shall be taking my two Ioniqs, Tucson and Sonata to either Moreno Valley or Redlands dealerships for service from now on! I will keep you posted if either of those don't work out. read more

I purchased a brand new 2019 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Riverside Hyundai and took it back for electrical issues as my dash board had lit up with warning signs--the first words from the service advisor; "If its rodents or you have damaged the vehicle then it's not covered by your warranty. I told him 100 % I have not damaged nor hit anything and we don't have rodents at home (we have an exterminator (mainly for spiders) who comes once a month and l had him look thoroughly for any evidence such as droppings or anything that can indicate we have a rodent). A few hours later they said it was rodent issues--ooohhh but wait, here is the kicker -- YOUR INSURANCE CAN COVER IT--hmmmm costed my insurance about $5,000 and my $1,000 deductible. This year, 2021,the car started giving me more problems again, so l took it back and they said they found other issues from rodents and the cost would be a couple of thousand dollars as they have to remove the hybrid harness ( at this point , am sure these advisors/mechanics have degrees in auto/vermin analysis). I returned the 2019 Hyundai and replaced it with a new 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid ( a lease) for my nephew who is in UCLA, (April 4th 2021). A WEEK after the purchase it showed "Shifter System Malfunction", while driving, but the message went away. I called and informed my Sales guy (Dasan Knight, great sales guy and l highly recommend him, 100% on point with Hyundai's) and he stated he does not know or has never seen that warning before; but since it went away, l thought it was just a one time occurrence. Now, 5 months after driving the new car, the shifter system malfunction popped up and this time the vehicle cannot move (it only has 6,000 miles). Towed it back to Riverside Hyundai, and guess what ---new rodent issues--they found white furs around the shifter wiring. So, my question to the Hyundai Brass : Two new vehicles purchased at the same Riverside Hyundai Lot, parked at two different locations (Riverside County and Los Angeles County), but same rodent problems?? This is a strange coincidence. We have 3 other vehicles that were purchased before these Hyundai's and we have zero issues. The dealer ship quickly states that your insurance covers it and they will assist you in filing a claim for the thousands of dollars. Am wondering if this is also INSURANCE FRAUD? I bet an insurance fraud investigator would unearth similar complaints. Notably, as you walk around the dealership, it has rodent traps throughout, so why do they assume the rodents were at my house ? **** another point that is also annoying; after l traded in my 2019 for the 2021 in this dealership , l suddenly started getting tickets mailed to my house for using the Fast track lanes, for a car that l had traded in at Riverside Hyundai*******I had to scan and email paperwork to Metro express showing l no longer own the car, then go back to the dealership with my evidence of the ticket. I left the ticket and a note for the General Manager but never got a call back. A complaint has been filed with Better Business Bureau, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Consumer Affairs, Hyundai Consumer Assistance Center and California Attorney General. I believe the dealership has rodent issues--at their storage or their dealership. GIANI IS AMAZING!! I have been looking to trade in my car for a more family friendly one for some time now, and specifically aliked The 2024/2025 Hyundai Santa Fe. I live in Ventura county, and after calying my local dealership and getting quoted a ridlculous price at with added fees and markup I extended my phone search, looking at over a 100 mile radius (I wasn't afraid to travel for a good deal). Riverside Hyundai was one the first dealerships I contacted in the extended radius. They had the spec, color, and price online that worked for me, the only issue, the car was in transit and not on the lot. When I called, I spoke to Giani, she was pleasant, straight forward, transparent, and willing to make a deal! I let her know from the start that I was contacting other dealers to try and get the best price possible. That's when she went right to work! She gave me not only a very competitive offer, but also worked with her sales manager to better it! She even said that they would be willing to deliver the new car and pick up my trade and I wouldn't have to take my family the 2 1/2 hours away to make the deal!! My only cause for anxiety was the car was still "in transit" to the dealership and not on the lot. Giani was able to sooth that anxiety and give me updates as to the delivery date, and as soon as it was on the lot (a full week before it was scheduled) she immediately called!! I was so impressed that when a competing dealership contacted me with a cheaper offer at the last minute I declined, and said "Giani at Riverside has done all the work, and treated me and my family well, and we will stick with her!" Even at the last minute of closing the deal she was able to find another manufacture rebate and save us more money and a better financing rate!! To cap off the wonderful experience she took the 2 1/2 trek from the dealer to deliver the car herself. It was wonderful to meet her and her to meet my family. After a quickly finalizing of the paperwork, she drove off with my trade in to make the 2 1/2 drive back. I would 100% recommend the great people of Riverside Hyundai, and especially Giani!
