Got 3 inquiries on my credit report even tho my credit is great. Said no to gap insurance to the finance lady and it went down hill from there was treated like trash for the rest of the transaction. Was looking to upgrade my 2017 Hyundai hybrid Ioniq to the 2018 Plugin model. I placed a call to the salesman "Mo" this morning and he clearly listened to what I was looking for, as well as the pricing, payment and options I required. He was very kind, thorough and physically walked the lot to ensure they had the model in stock I was looking for. Evidently the new plugin's are very hard to find and especially ones that are fully loaded "Limited model" I requested. He indeed found one exactly the color I was looking for (white) with all the features I requested, which made it worth driving 35 miles up from Temecula. The buying process was much like your typical back and forth with management once I got to the dealership. However I made it perfectly clear that I wanted the gap insurance, extended warranty to 125k miles with zero deductible and the prepaid maintenance plan to 75k miles, and at the monthly payment I needed to secure the deal. And I didn't want any of the usual dealer must buy accessories added. I didn't provide any credit information until they provided me a signed document listing the pricing and everything I requested was included. I have tier 1 credit, so once approved the financing & paper work went very quickly. Mo was very thorough after the sale, walking me through all the new features my shiny new car had that were different from my previous model. I am very very happy and fortunate that I was able to work with such a low pressure sales guy who did an excellent job communicating everything to me before and after I arrived. It's not often you feel good after buying a car, this was definitely the exception and that had a lot to do with the entire sales team, especially Mo. I will add, I tried several other dealerships via the True Car app, and none of them came close to the pricing Riverside Hyundai team pulled together. I even tried my local Temecula dealership, in fact I had been texting their finance manager all the specifics of this deal to see if he could beat it.. but eventually when he saw what they were offering, he stopped responding. I think this was a great sign, I got a very good deal! :) . Thanks again to the Riverside Hyundai team, this is the 2nd car in 2 years I have purchased from them! Highly recommend to all! I emailed him back on 1/28 because it is my preferred method of contact. It's been 6 days and no reply. I had a few questions that needed answers. We began our search for a Hyundai Tuscon with True Cars. We received a call from a female salesperson from Riverside Hyundai. We set up an appointment with her. She even called us the night before to confirm our appointment. When we got there on time, we were told she was not in that day and we were given another salesperson. When we wanted the car advertised from True Car, we were told that we could not get that price or even that particular color. We were told that the car was more money because of the Dealer Add-Ons. We told them that we didn't want the add-ons. They told us too late, so we tried to negotiate a fair price that included the not wanted add-ons. They would not budge in negotiating with us . I bought my first Hyundai here around May '11 (I know this review is very late but I just wanted to share my experience). First contact with this dealer was through the internet. I've been asking quotes from dealers for a 2011 Hyunda Elantra Limited (Harbor Gray with Black Interior) using Hyundaiusa.com I was contacted by Wendy Barich from RH and we've emailed back and forth regarding the car. They didn't have the particular color combo I wanted but Wendy emailed me to check out what they had that weekend (Red LTD with Beige and Blue LTD with Gray Interior) Blue was my second choice. I had an appointment at 4pm that weekend, I was greeted by Ricardo one of the salesman while they paged Wendy but was busy with a customer. Wendy had told Ricardo upon my arrival and he helped me throughout the transaction. The Red LTD was parked outside while the Blue was inside the showroom. I test drove the Red one around the area, liked the car except the color so he showed me the Blue they had in the showroom and fell in love with it so we went on with the paperwork. During the financial part of the transaction, Ricardo and the finance guy (forgot his name) kept going back and forth to achieve a deal. It took a few counters here and there but we finally got to the correct purchase amount with no hassles from them. They gave me a deal I could not refuse. After everything was signed Ricardo personally moved the car out of the showroom to pump gas and get the car ready for delivery which took about 45mins. I was in and out of the dealership in under 3 hours which I think is pretty quick. I returned to the dealer the following weekend and got my tint done (paid for with the loan) and it was done in about 2 hours. Since Tint was done at the dealer I was able to choose the darkness I wanted. Would definitely recommend this dealership. read more

However, he was not looking for his own advantage, but the advantage of his clients-my wife and I. Mike the service advisor doesnt care about you or your car but is just trying to upsell you things you don't need. Came for brakes and he called and tried selling me oil change even though it is due in 1500 miles. Also tried selling me tires altough they are in good condition. Took them 5 hours just to do the pads. I also complained about sever warranty related issues but they were never addressed nor he seemed even interested in to even try helping. No personal treatment, you just feel violated because they just trying to upsell and that's it basically. I'm going to complain to Hyundai about this. STAY AWAY read more

Great service and friendly staff. I drive 30 miles to get here and pass the San Bernardino Hyundai because they don't provide the same service and atmosphere. I recommend this place. The only complaint was that when I asked them when it will be done, they told me around 1pm. So my family and I decided to kill time and go somewhere for a few hours, when I returned the car wasn't even looked at until 3 pm. My wife dropped me off and I waited until 4:30pm until it was done, didn't get out of there until 5. Beware Beware! They might be more than willing to help you buy a car here, but when something goes wrong, they don't even honor the warranty. I would really like to explain the entire store, but I've really wasted enough time with these dingbats. I called in to make an appointment, told them what was going on. Dave told me to come on down and be "prepared for great service". I was like, wo, never heard something like that before...we'll see. We'll see is right. I get down there just so that Dave can tell me that they don't cover tires under the warranty. Which might be true, but the other half of the story that I'm not going to waste time writing, was my experience a different dealership where they took care of me no problem, but because I was on vacation, by the time they figured out what was wrong and offered a solution, I didn't have time (had to get back to the real world). To shorten the story, Dave tells me to go to a tire shop. I go to a tire shop. Super nice lady there says that my tires are "cupping" whatever that means, I don't know anything about cars. I was like, "oh, why is that". She said, it's because of your suspension.....WHICH IS COVERED UNDER THE DAMN WARRANTY! She told me that she wouldn't recommend new tires yet because the jacked up suspension will mess up the new ones. I go back to dave to explain, he still insists it will be $120 and then can't guarantee the suspension is covered...it either is or isn't. Shorten the story some more... he asks me if I want to speak to the manager. I said, yes please. He throws the papers down on the desk and point to the end of the hall and says, "there he is". I was like, should I just go in there or something? He rolled his eyes and got up and walked me in to the office. He gives a lame ass story to the manager who then looks at me and says, "well what do you want me to do about it?"....I was like, you've got to be freak'n kidding me. I said, "nothing, don't do anything....I'll go to a real dealership who will take care of me." If there are any more updates, I"ll be sure to post it. I'm still open to them doing what they are supposed to do to take care of me. I'll be sure to update it with good news or bad news. read more
