My wife took out a brand new Elantra 2022 she was so happy with the car everything worked nicely until the trunk latch broke and had to take in the car for repair. A couple hours go by and my wife received a call that the mechanic crashed her car, the mechanic forgot the back door was open and backed into something the back door has a huge dent and both doors the back and the front are out of square (as seen in the pictures). The dealer is willing to fix the car but we don't want that car anymore because we are paying for a brand new car and the dealerships negligence damaged my brand new car!! They don't want to switch my car for another car for the exact same price because the damage to our car was minimal?!! Explain to me how this damage is minimal! A 30 thousand car we gladly pay for is now worth half of the original price and they won't satisfy my concern that I don't want this car anymore since the value is so low on it now and even if they fix it I doubt the door frames will sit perfectly square! Very sad to see that they are only caring for themselves and won't take full responsibility to exchange my car for another one that's worth the same. First time buying a car and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Long story short, I initially went in on 8/11 to see the car my sis and bro-in-law was interested in and I ended up test driving and then eventually buying a car. We were introduced to a sales consultant, Carlos Leon, who took care of us. He was VERY patient and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He definitely got his exercise in with the amount of running around he did for us. When it came down to talking numbers I met with Brian (Big B) Wilson the sales manager. I appreciated his honesty and making sure I fully understood the numbers I was looking at. I also appreciated him trying to advise me on the best option to go with to save money. After I brought the car home I noticed that I didn't have the trunk cover for my Santa Fe Ultimate. I went in today and met with Big B to inquire about it. He immediately took care of it. I came into Riverside Hyundai to buy a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited. MSRP was a little over $37k. The first sales person was really good, he new his facts on the car and was impressive. When we went inside to start the deal we were handed off to another sales guy... they proceeded to do the typical says pitch and four square routine. They had a $3k mark up on MSRP saying it was due to the chip shortage and then added an additional 2500 of upgrade adders which are a waste of money at outrage prices. Car came in $5500 over MSRP.... I started negotiating and was able to painfully get them down a little. It was painful.... And I was offered thousands below trade in value for my current car.... I pulled the trade in off the table and proceeded to negotiate..... it was painful..... I drew a line at $41k and they came back at $41400.... I told him my number was above what I felt I should pay and it was a hardline for me... they refused to go down and I walked away... mind you... sales manager was a jerk ... finance guy was a hard ass and each step of the process was painful..... they lost the deal for a difference of $400 total....I left and drove to Corona.... cardinale way Hyundai not only had the exact car we wanted but they did not have the 3k mark up.... Walked in.... Process was painless and walked out saving $4k. Just proves that if you go to the right dealer who respects their customers and doesn't try to screw you over the car buying process is easy.... Came in one Friday evening asking about a service diagnosis for my 2014 Genesis Coupe. Leo Soto, one of the service managers on hand, helped me out and got me an appointment for the following morning, since it was too late in the day to squeeze in any more cars. Came in the next morning a little early and got taken care of within an hour and a half - I had expected a longer wait since that's what I was used to with dealerships. I confess I had my doubts about them being able to diagnose my car's problem (weak battery) and fix it promptly, but Leo explained that they had indeed found the problem and would put the replacement in immediately. A little under two hours in the waiting room with free coffee, donuts, and wifi and I was on my way. Overall great place for service based on my experience - I didn't go in with super high hopes since I've heard nightmare stories about dealership service shops and even had a backup independent shop ready to go to should these guys let me down, but they were very efficient and helpful. Just came back from Hyundai of Riverside having driven 40 miles to make a purchase (and no one drives 40 miles to just see a vehicle - I could have stayed within Orange County where there are many Hyundai dealers for just seeing a vehicle). It was a bad overall customer experience. The internet salesperson and her product specialist knew from the day before that I was coming down at 11:00 am to inspect a specific vehicle. When we got to the dealer lot, the white Palisade Calligraphy was bombed by birds and the car was dirty on the outside and inside. They could have at least made the vehicle more attractive and presentable to someone who had an appointment from the day before. Both the salesperson and the product specialist who messaged me and called me several times to confirm the appointment - one just 30 minutes before we showed up today - did not show and meet with us to explain the ins and outs of the vehicle features; they unloaded another salesperson on me. After this salesperson gave us the full presentation, I was still ready to enter negotiations to buy the Palisade but from the MSRP sticker. Then I get dropped on me as I'm ready to pull the trigger of another several thousand dollar mark up because of vehicle shortages. I find that excuse a lot of BS. Sure there may be some shortage of vehicles (that's what all the dealers are telling me) but they had over a dozen Palisades on the lot so I don't believe there is that much of a shortage to warrant multi-thousand dollar mark-ups. Overall, a very unpleasant shopping experience when you want to leave with a new vehicle purchase. However, the writing on the wall was staring at me and I can't ignore that when I'm ready to shell out $50K not including taxes, license fees, and registration on top of that. read more

My husband and I just purchased a new Santa Fe. We love our new car and overall our experience was decent. We chose to go through internet sales* first to find the best price and try to avoid the in person haggling. We were told by the internet sales manager that our quoted price would be exactly what we would pay, plus tax and license. We were mislead because as it turns out "dealer installed accessories" (window tint, theft patrol, and cilajet) aren't included in the price you're quoted via internet, however generally speaking they're already installed on the vehicle and you have to pay for them. This took us through the whole haggling process we were trying to avoid. In the end we were able to arrive at the deal we wanted, but it was a painful process. Our vehicle hadn't been PDI'd yet, so we couldn't drive it off the lot that evening anyway. We came back the next day to finish up the financing paperwork and pick up our car. We met with Zamir the finance manager who helped make signing the paperwork as quick as possible. Thank you Zamir for being personable and efficient. Signing such a big contract can be intimidating, but you made us feel comfortable and at ease. Also, thank you to Jim the sales consultant for orienting us to all of the features on our new vehicle and answering our questions before we drove it home. I had a horrible experience at this dealership. Contacted this dealership through the amex auto buying program to go buy my car with the "no haggle" pricing. When I got to the dealership to pay the "no haggle" price, the sales staff kept changing the price of the car. They assumed (without asking me) that I wanted to buy a car with tinted windows, lojack, etc. There were many many things added onto the price of the car that I hadn't asked for, or was willing to pay for. When I told them that I wanted to pay the price I was given over the internet, they informed me that that was the price of a car that I "built online and doesn't exist" WTF??? The sales people at this dealership were very shady. Needless to say, I didn't buy a car from this dealership and ended up buying from another dealership. DON'T GO HERE TO BUY A CAR!!!! BTW, There is nothing "fishy" about this review. I was very dissatisfied with how I was treated here. Hopefully, the sales and internet staff at this dealership will improve their honesty and customer service. The staff at this dealership should be less concerned about this being a review from a competing dealership (which it is not), and more concerned with how they treat their customers. If future customers receive the same lack of service and dishonesty that I did, or if they receive exemplary service and honesty, then I'm sure they will be able to post their own honest review of Riverside Hyundai here. read more

Stay away from this dealer! They sent me an email with the E-price of $14,586 for a 2014 Sonata so of course we went. First thing I did was show the email to sales man, He stated " we have to honor what we sent " which turned out to be the first big lie of the night. The email showed msrp of $22,335, after the discounts the final price was $14,587. They proceeded to make excuses why they couldn't honor most of the discounts aka classic bait-n switch. The next lie was that we had to pay tax on the MSRP - not the actual sale price of the vehicle! One of the discounts was $400 off for being a college grad which the email neglected to state it had to be within the past two years - shady! Next, the sales person got up to talk to the sales manager we looked back and they were in the office eating and feeding each other, so unprofessional. The staff look like a bunch of slobs, speak loudly, wear sweatshirts, and the dealership is extremely dark, tacky, and the cubicle was full of little pieces of paper from people that donated to a charity just like a grocery store register. At the end a heavy set man came to talk to us and flat out told us he would not honor the offer that it was I mistake by the internet manager. Are you freaking kidding me?!? We told him any reputable business honors their written price and but apparently they don't believe in customer service. read more

THIS IS FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ONLY! I bought my car here one year ago and had a great experience! I've done all the suggested maintenance, the oil changes, but they never suggested rotating my tires. So I went to another service center and tried to have my tires rotated, the only problem was that they never gave me the master wheel locks. So I called and dealt with David, not only was he rude and interrupted me at every turn, I had to take the car back to the dealer and was told we will rotate your tired at no charge. Okay fair enough! One week later I took my car in, and was told that the tires has been rotated but tha tI would need tires because the tread was low, which is odd because my tires only had 21K miles on them. So when I got home and checked my tires they were not rotated, although the service contract stated they were, and then when I called back I was told they didn't perform the rotation because it was a liability, but the problem is the back tires have good tread and the fronts are lower, so I wanted to wear them more evenly. It didn't matter, I was given the run around. I will find a more helpful dealer or take it to my private mechanic, who knows my car and wont hassle me! read more

Jim and Bryan were so helpful and actually worked with us and they didnt mind my kids running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
