Ordered $99 in food ( because they added 2 things to my order that I did not ask for). Once food arrived I got a call from their driver saying nobody answered... I have a very loud doorbell. After arguing with me I showed him how the doorbell works and he got an attitude. After the whole mess I didn't tip him because I was no spending more money for such an unpleasant experience. Called back about how I didn't order all these extra wings which they charged me for I let them aware that they forgot 2 cherry cheesecakes. The lady on the phone continue to argue with me again saying that I never ordered the two cheese cakes even though she read it all back to me on the phone ...I had a written out list so made sure she got it all. After spending another 45 minutes on the phone discussing what can be done about it they decided to send me the cheesecakes which she added the charge for on the receipt and then only took $10 off the order. How in the world is $30 wings you added to my order only ended up being $10. Yet again they still overcharged me and I'm now disputing it with my bank. My original review for this place was 5 stars. Unfortunately something changed. The last 3 or 4 times we have ordered food from here it hasn't been that good. We used them for the Superbowl in 2013 and the pizza was pretty awful. It was noticeably smaller than normal and the dough was clearly pre-made and older. It tasted stale and our pepperoni portions were laughable. I realize the Superbowl brings increased demand, but they weren't able to keep their quality up. After that we gave them a few more tries but the very last time ended it for us. We ordered wings for a group of 4 people, and the wings were A JOKE. They were so small and had no meat on them, and when you're spending 9 or 10 dollars for just as many wings, you expect some meat. One was smaller than my wife's pinky finger. Also ordered a cheesesteak and it had no cheese on it and the bun was dripping with grease. Not enjoyable. To sum up, used to frequent here, not anymore. read more

I remember going here like years ago and this place had some of the best food ever!. Now recently FEB 2019, I ordered chicken wings and they were disgusting! The chicken smelled and no seasoning at all. Yhe meat was white in some areas and the bones dark brown just not fresh at all. We stumbled upon this gem while traveling. We exited 95 thinking we'd grab a quick sandwich at a national sub chain. Instead, we wandered into Riverside Pizzeria, where I had maybe the best eggplant parmigiana sandwich ever. The eggplant was amazing ... thinly sliced, sweet, mild, smooth with just enough batter to hold its shape without overpowering the eggplant. The sauce had just the right blend of seasoning to give it flavor without detracting from the eggplant. I wasn't really craving bread or fries, but I polished off my plate. That's how amazing this sandwich and the crispy fries were. My only regret is that I live 500 miles from here. Otherwise, the friendly staff plus the amazing food would make this my new go-to happy place. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to get some of the crabcakes that everyone was recommending. Well, I am sorry to say, that yes, the crabcakes are big, BUT have absolutely NO taste. Have they not heard of Old Bay seasoning in Riverside? Being in Maryland it is a staple. As for the fries and slaw that came with it, both were fair to poor. The fries were soggy even right after getting them from the fryer. The slaw tasted days old. The pizza looked good. So, I will try their pizza before completely writing them off. As for anyone believing the crabcakes are good here, those reviews MUST have been written by tourists travelling I95 and not knowing any better. read more

After my hotel and cab driver both suggested I go to Riverside for their crab cakes, I figured I should give it a try. Wow - what a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is nothing fancy, but that did not deter from my meal. A friendly server kept my fresh-brewed iced tea filled and the crab cake was superb. It came with fries, cole slaw and bread and was a lot of food. I managed to finish the crab, though. :) Gentlemen at an adjacent table had pizza that looked delicious but they didn't offer a slice (ha). I was tempted to try their crab cake, but I went against the grain and tried the broiled flounder with fries and garlic bread. The flounder left much to be desired. This place is right down the street from me and they have some of the best cheese steak subs in the area (try the delux, it comes with roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.) Prices can very. The large cheese steak delux is like $13 but if you order at lunch time they have a lunch special where you get a medium sub, fries and drink for ~8 dollars. I ordered the Hot Turkey and Gravy sandwich. I normally order this SAME meal from pats, only for almost 4 dollars LESS! None the less, I decided to have this delivered since I had ordered pizza from and been happy with my order for so long. I am sad to say that this was a huge mistake. I have never ordered Hot Turkey and gotten Brown Gravy as the gravy. It tasted overly salty and just like Roast Beef almost.. I would have ordered Roast Beef if that's what I had wanted. I won't ever order from here again.... RP & Pats used to be a close tie but after this experience, pats wins. The sandwich was put together messy, it tasted horrible. I can at least say that the fries were decent, and the delivery was fast, I was only a 2 minute driving distance away though. Horrible experience. Ordered delivery, when it wasn't delivered after an hour I called to check on the order. The manager I spoke to told me it was my fault I didn't have my order as the delivery driver came to my door and I didn't answer. I tried to explain to the manager that no one came to my house and there had to be some mistake, but he would not listen. He was clearly angry and acted like a jerk. Finally he asked me if I even wanted the food and I told him yes because it was paid for with my credit card. The manager brought me my order, which was cold and gross. 5 minutes later the delivery driver knocked on my door to apologize for the way his manager treated me and to explain that he accidentally went to the wrong house. On top of the bad service, the pizza is gross. Tasteless and so greasy that there was a PUDDLE of grease on my counter top that had soaked through the cardboard pizza box. Disgusting. I went here for the first time tonight and IT WAS TERRIBLE. The only reason I gave this place two stars was because it was busy when we first got there so service was slow and it was okay. First things first when we first got there it took our server about five minutes just to come greet us and take the drink order. We sat talking for a half an hour and the apps still had not come. No word about whether or not it was even being cooked. Then finally she said it was coming soon. Okay we will be patient and wait. Ten more minutes later our apps come out and we DIG IN. Good thing we were hungry though because our entrees came out right after the apps. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap and fries, one of my favorites. I picked up my warp to eat it and saw a nice BLACK HAIR sticking out of the wrap, like stuck inside of the wrap. So I pulled it out and was still going to eat it till I looked down and THERE WAS ANOTHER HAIR IN THE OTHER HALF! Two hairs! So I did not eat the wrap, but how could you mess up fries? APPARENTLY YOU CAN! I ate about half my fries before dipping one in ketchup and low and behold ANOTHER HAIR!!!!!!! I was done. No more food for me. The rest of the group was good though. Till almost the end, my sister got chicken parmesean with a side of garlic bread. She went to go eat her garlic bread and GUESS WHAT WE FOUND!?! A PIECE OF HAIR! That is four hairs at one table of five. That is almost one hair in everyone's food. Lucky for me, I got three of them. By now we are hot. So we just ask for the check. Another half an hour later, still no check. So my older sister went to talk to the manager and we finally got our discounted check. Our check was supposed to be $90.00 and the manager took off $30.00. As nice of a discount as that is, we felt like it was still too much. Needless to say, I will never be back to this place. Had dinner from Riverside for the first time. The crabcakes were barely warmed through. The flavor is ok, size is ok, but I like mine hot. I ordered a small cheese pizzia, terrible. No sauce and the dough is tough. Nothing fresh about it. Fed it to the dogs. Carrot cake for dessert. Another waste of money. Great cream cheese icing, but the cake had no flavor. This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is perfect, the amount of cheese is excellent (we always get extra cheese on our pizzas). We got the New England style with pepperoni and cheese and a white pizza. Both were outstanding. I highly recommend this place. And the staff is SO friendly. I never write reviews I always just use yelp to find new places to eat, and I'm not a foodie but I felt like I needed to write a review I mean I think digiorno pizza is good if that helps you get an idea of my food standards ... so I was very disappointed when I ordered $40 worth of pizza and food from here and it was terrible. The pizza had no sauce, it was like cheese bread but the cheese was so gross it tasted weird like cheddar or something ... the mozzarellas sticks and chicken fingers were over cooked and hard. The fries were soggy. This is the second shot I gave this place too as I tried it before and had the same results but I wanted to give it another chance. Best crab cakes in Maryland (along with the parent eatery, the more famous Box Hill Pizza) - this branch has very basic and small booths and two very small tables (for two only) for seating in the "dining room" and gets a demerit from us for that. But the food was very good. Service was so-so, but we got what we wanted more or less when we wanted it. Haven't tried the pizza yet, but it's next on our list. Very good food, friendly staff and quick service with reasonable prices. The shrimp salad is excellent and a very good value as a sub, same with the cheese steak sub. I have gotten the Greek Salad many time with grilled chicken and the house salad dressing. With the size, amount of feta cheese and delicious dressing, you can't go wrong. The crab cakes are fantastic!!! Anytime I am driving north or south on 95, I have to stop in for one of these crab cake sandwiches. My wife, who could care less about food, specifically requests these crab cakes. You have never had a crab cake sandwich like this. It is baked in a pizza oven, but is moist as can be. I just took a 24 hour round trip to NYC and I stopped on the way up and the way back from Olney, MD. I also tried the pizza for the first time and it was very good as well. Food was very good, not often you can find Crab cakes and pizza under the same roof, both were very good. Pizza toppings seemed fres.

We've been stopping here for years! Whenever we're traveling north on 95 on our way back to Philly we'll call in an order for crab cakes cold packed to go. We usually have a cooler for them but the times we didn't we'll just ask for ice. The cakes travel well and cook up great at home.
