    Seafood Cobb

Great water views on the patio, the food is pretty good and we usually get good customer service. My wife got her usual "cobb seafood salad" and I just went with the "steak burger" and we added the grouper taco's. The food is always good here and we love sitting outside on the patio.

Thanks for the great reviews from my Yelp friends Pat M & Dawne F, we decided to try this place for HH. It was windy & cool out so the outside wasn't open but what a great location on the Manatee river in a boat marina! We luckily got 2 seats at the bar & had wonderful service from Cookie. We shared peel & eat shrimp, wings, & sliders & all the food was fantastic. Our drinks were made well & we liked the environment. Definitely will be back for sure. Great menus! Plenty of parking available!

Our waitress alone made the experience incredible! So helpful, quick and attentive. Food was delicious and our server made great recommendations (like get the sauce on the side) and it truly was a good call!! So delicious! Large spot and really nice when you can sit outside. Plenty of options on the menu.

Great brunch place! Yummy food and prompt service. Outdoor area was scenic with the marina and dog friendly. I had a bowl with chicken, rice, veggies and a yummy cilantro sauce. Hubby had the Buffalo egg rolls ( really good) and some eggs and bacon. Great place to hang out. Unlimited Sangria and mimosas for $20 as well although we didn't have them.

Incorrect menu: shrimp is now $9 - no seafood stir-fry, potato bombs, or chicken bites. Addition: egg rolls & teriyaki filet bites.

We specifically came for their advertised Wednesday Oysterpalooza and were told they discontinued it weeks ago. We also found that their Happy Hour menu was incorrect; some items were removed and prices incorrect as well. Friendly and attentive service and the food we ordered was good. The sliders were cooked correctly and the bacon jam added to it. The Happy Hour fish and chips was a good size portion for the $14 and crispy. The whole table enjoyed the fries as well. As far as ambiance, it's a bar with an outside patio on the water overlooking the dock - and usually there is live music (supposed to have it on Wednesdays according to the website) but there was not music when we were there.

    Cockroaches

Avoid eating at Dockside Riviera Dunes..... We took my aunt and uncle to this restaurant this evening for a special birthday celebration. After our food arrived, we observed multiple large cockroaches crawling around our table. We immediately reported this to the manager; however, he refused to come out and speak with us. The waitress apologized and offered complimentary desserts, which we declined. One of the waitstaff stepped on a cockroach and left it on the floor next to our table. Due to the unsanitary conditions, we were unable to eat our meals and lost our appetite entirely. Our dinner celebration was effectively ruined. We informed the staff that we no longer wanted the food, yet the manager still required us to pay for it. He told my husband that if we did not pay, he would call the police. To avoid causing a scene, we paid $100 for food we could not eat. Several nearby tables also left the restaurant because of the cockroach issue. The manager, Rob, demonstrated extremely poor customer service. We will be contacting the Department of Health regarding this matter. This establishment is not sanitary, and we strongly advise others to avoid dining here.

Nice environment. Particularly if you like boats

This for New Year's Eve, 2025... Bar: Excellent. Best I've seen in a while. Resturant: Very good. Excellent waitress. Jambalaya was very good. Person taking reservations over the phone: Needs to consider an alternative career Would definitely go again.

    Bottomless Bloody Mary's.

Nestled alongside the picturesque waterfront Riviera Dunes Marina...Dockside Grill is a charming, culinary haven for gastronomes known for its locally sourced seafood fare, alluring grilled specialties and captivating craft cocktails. With the cozy courtyard-style outdoor patio, featuring bright yellow umbrella-covered tables and a tranquil lounge furniture nook, guests can savor the sea breeze and watch luxury boats gently sway in the water while indulging in a leisurely lunch. Jetta, our server, was really great and recommended her favorite from the Raw Bar & that's exactly what I ordered...the Tuna Poke Stack-marinated ahi tuna, sweet mango, juicy pineapple, creamy avocado, toasted sesame seeds, tangy wakame and drizzled balsamic glaze atop warm crispy tortilla chips. #whatsupdock

Our group of 8 came to see the band. They were great. The views of the yacht club and river are terrific. Our server Nancy, was outstanding. The rest of this was a mess. They get one star for service and one for venue & music. The outdoor table (right side for table service) had cigarette butts and garbage underneath. The wine glass was filthy, looked like it had just come off someone's table after use. Of the nine (9) red wines on the list they were out of seven (7) - so 78% out of stock. Of the nine patio heaters on this coldest evening of 2023, several were out of gas, one was broken, and two had no gas tanks at all. Apparently the bar had no change, so the $7.52 wine BTG and Guinness wound up costing $8 each, with no explanation. The food was greasy (egg rolls and burgers), the calamari was tough as nails and the pretzel cheese sauce was inedible. Only the fries could be rated good. Maybe the holidays are an excuse for the poor planning, the missing equipment and wine and the dirty patio. Maybe not. We'll see the band at other venues.

The three stars is for the view and nothing else. Subpar food and overpriced. Customer service isn't much better either.

There is street parking and a small private parking lot. I highly recommend reservations on the Resy app about 1-2 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is busy in winter. FOOD: You can choose between a la carte or the Prix Fixe menu. The Prix Fixe is a small-portioned three-course (bite, appetizer, and entrée) menu featuring some of our signature dishes. The Prix Fixe experience begins at $58 per person (there are additional add-ons) for dine-in only. 1. Waterzooi Soup (3/5; Red Farms chicken | caramelized leeks | carrots | local cream | focaccia toast | parsley emulsion | carrot purée): This is a Belgian soup. The serving size of the soup in the prix fixe was relatively small. The presentation was nice, and the chicken soup was a nice winter dish. The chicken broth was savory but at room temperature. 2. Autumn Salad (2/5; mixed artisanal greens | brûléed bucheron cheese | radicchio | toasted French walnuts | red grapes | fig balsamic vinaigrette): I felt like something was lacking from this seasonal autumn salad. It's OK for me, as I mostly ate the bucheron cheese with the grapes and walnuts. 3. Filet Mignon (4/5; seared | maître d'hôtel butter | red wine jus | truffle potato purée | asparagus (additions: sauce Choron, seared foie gras, Maine lobster tail, local exotic Petrichor mushrooms): It was cooked perfectly. This is a staple in the menu. I did not add any of the additionals. The service was great. Our water and drinks did not touch the bottom. The server came around often to check in and give his recommendations. If you want to do order pick up, it is available Tuesday-Saturday between 5 - 8 PM. Would I come back? Yes. I want to try other items on the menu.

They run around and do a good job. I chose Sauvignon blanc and enjoyed. I was torn about what to eat. One of the servers, Jason, recommended the octopus and the meatballs- so I said ok! It was cooked perfectly. Apparently they poach it, I asked. I always want to make something like this but I have yet to actually do it. I'd read mixed reviews but why pass up a casual dining place on the water?…read more I found a parking spot close by and opted to walk instead of taking the xl golf cart that they offer rides to the restaurant. It's hot out and there's a breeze and the restaurant is at a marina so lots of boats to look at while walking. When I entered the restaurant I told the desk I had a reservation and I was immediately seated. The waiter asked if I wanted a drink as he dropped off the menu and I said I'd like a minute - a place like this you really need to soak up the view. When he returned with water I ordered a draft and a couple half size happy hour appetizers to start. The oysters were good - decent size, not briny and they came with lemon, horseradish cocktail sauce and a tiny bottle of Tabasco. The conch fritters were very good, I especially liked the sauce they came with. They were crispy on the outside and soft and pretty good flavor on the inside. Decided on the fish bites appetizer for the rest of today's meal - the fish came out quick and was hot and tasted fresh. Service was great, food good.... If there's any negative it's that maybe the fryer oil is not at temp or needs changing as all the fried food seemed a little darker than I expected....still tasted good though. I'll definitely be back - had a couple good suggestions from the waiter that I can't wait to try.

We parked and walked the deck to the restaurant, we walked in and were greeted by the host, and were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, we chose out and were led to a table on the deck, which had a beautiful view of the water, and gave us menus. Our server came and brought us water, we ordered something to drink and perused the menu. There was lots to choose from, and even though I wanted fish, I saw the burger and nearly went with that, but I decided to get the Blackened Mahi sandwich instead, I also ordered the Smoked Mahi Fish Dip as an appetizer. The fish dip came, complete with the prerequisite saltines, which I love, and while the dip was okay, it wasn't great. Not very smoky and too tuna-salady. Still, i enjoyed it, and it was a large portion. My wife ordered a burger, and they bought hers as well as my sandwich. They were both on brioche buns, and I was disappointed that the buns were not toasted- that would've made the sandwiches! My Mahi was okay, good flavor and firm flesh, I wish I had ordered black beans & yellow rice, however, as the fries were not very inspiring. We finished and got the bill, I should've asked before ordering, as the Mahi sandwich was listed as "MP," it was a whopping $28.00! While it was good, it wasn't $30 bucks good, but hey, you're paying for the view. This is a nice place inside, and the view of the water are spectacular but it is a bit pricey in my book. However, our server was awesome, as well as the staff, so I would definitely come back here.
