    Hotel was in decent shape upon arrival and the room was spacious, but after the second night, I woke up to an incredibly itchy bite on my arm and when I lifted up the mattress, a tiny bed bug was waiting. I immediately squished it with my shoe, and sure enough, blood came shooting out. Absolutely gross and waiting from management on what I expect will be a full refund!!

    The beautiful blue eyed lady at the front desk, Suz was great despite the many issues out of her control. Great location, 3 blocks from the beach. As for my stay; - I stayed in building 3, and my room was not great... - I had coworkers stay in building 1 w/no complaints. - I got late checkout (13:00) for free if I wrote a google review ($25 normally) - There was a lovely used shower cap in my bathroom upon arrival. It was not mine :)) - They nicely changed the trash bags in the hallway at 10:45pm. - The Shower head had issues, was unclean and no pressure. See video - I had a room next to the elevator and could not only hear the people waiting, but also the mechanics of the elevator! So fun! - The room could use a touch up of paint, and a deep clean. -never had the bathroom trash changed, doubt they went behind the door. -I think it would be great if the hotel invested in some bleach for the towels. I would consider stay here again if I was in building 1. PS: my fave game was counting all the hairs that were not mine!

    For a $300 night, mold/hair in the shower, hairs on the towels, brown crusted stains on the comforter. When we arrived to our room the a/c unit was blasting cold air, the room felt so humid (even though it was 60 degrees outside and wasn't humid outside) that you could hardly breathe, the sheets felt wet, and there was a puddle of water on the floor. We notified the front desk after trying to tolerate it for 1-2 hours and they didn't have a room for us to switch. They said they would send a maintenance man to check on us and we requested a linens change. They send a "maintenance" guy up who knocked on the door and just stood there on the phone ignoring us for so long when we opened it that we just let it close again. He came in and seemed so disinterested in our discomfort asking us if we messed with the a/c unit, seemingly implying that the humidity was our fault? And we informed him that we had adjusted it 20 mins prior. He plugged some settings in and left. The linen change & a/c adjustment did help but we were not offered any other compensation for the horrendous circumstances we walked into.

    This hotel is a hidden gem. With two pools, a small alleyway restaurant/ bar with a FREE happy hour and staff who go above and beyond! We found it on TripAdvisor for a short 3 day Monday- Wednesday before our cruise trip. The front desk staff was informative and helpful. Our room was 101. Tiny but perfect for two people. The set back for the shower is that the water goes right out! The glass needed to be on the opposite side for sure. We let them know and used towels on the floor. It was tight to shower so close to the corner of the wall. One pool is located roof top with a fun sitting area. Real plants and floats. The other pool is across the street and is so adorable. It has plenty of fun seatings, a bar, fresh iced water and plants. The vibe of the hotel is very speakeasy. I loved the free happy hour 5-6pm. Two drinks to choose from. Everything was perfect!

    My wife and I looked at a lineup of 3 to 4 hotels in the Miami Beach area. We chose Riviera suites in South Beach because it was affordable. When we arrived, it turned out to be a very cute and well-maintained boutique hotel. Rosa Erazo was very accommodating and made sure everything turned out right. Thank you to everyone on staff!

    It was a lovely memorial weekend stay. The staff Rina was very helpful and friendly. She allowed us early check in and provided beach towel while we waited. The hotel is nicely decorated. I felt home when entering the lobby. The music in the lobby was very soothing and chill. Location is excellent! Walking distance to Lincoln road and beach. The roof top bar is lovely. The only flaw is the room not being well sound proofed. We woke up in the middle of the night from hearing couples fighting and doors being shut.

    I enjoyed my stay here. The double bed rooms are quaint but enough room to be comfortable. We didn't spend too much time in the room anyway. The bathrooms are tiny though, almost have to step into the shower to close the door to use the toilet lol. They'll provide you with beach towels if you ask for them at the front desk. We spent a good amount of time at the rooftop pool, which was a nice option after being at the beach. Another big thing is they provide free water! I loved that! The only negative is they don't hold luggage, so if you have a late flight, keep that in mind. The location is great. It's a few steps to Collins St. and a 2 min walk to the beach. There's a CVS on the corner and a restaurant/bar that stays open until 5 am across the street.

If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You must walk through the lobby and across the outside area. The sauna and the one person steam shower is located here. You Check-in then you get changed into the robe and walk across the lobby check-in area to the elevators. You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we worked out, grabbed a late lunch, some drinks and then got to come back and enjoy the rooftop pool during happy hour for drinks and snacks until sunset. Since we book via Amex travel hotel collection, our room automatically upgraded, daily breakfast for 2 $40 per person, $100 credit to use for anything in the property, early check in, guarantee 4pm check out and complimentary wi-fu. And we got complimentary cocktails. On top of that, we got complimentary sparking water and 2 jars of snacks for being Marriott Bonvoy gold member. Awesome. Our room was on the industrial exhaust fans side and it was extremely noisy. Had to keep our balcony door closed to drown out the noise. The location of the hotel, as others mentioned is ideal. Now here is the scary part...we got stuck on the elevator two times. It wasn't a long time but enough to scare me especially since I am very claustrophobic. I ended up taking the stairs to the 9th floor the rest of our stay. They did fix the elevator but this happened to quite a few guests and they didn't shut the elevator. Our complimentary breakfast (free with my Marriott status) was not the best. Breakfast is served in the attached Mexican restaurant which is not owned by Marriott. It is not a buffet. Small menu with the basics. Food was fair. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. The pool restaurant has the best hotdogs! And we also enjoyed the quinoa salad.

And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. All those pictures with the pool lit up? Not for you. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. Seriously, we got warnings to get out at 10min to 6, 5min to 6, and at 6:00. Why every five minutes? Because a group of staff members were hovering over us, watching and waiting for the moment to kick us out. Very relaxing. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. Staff are at every door as you go in or out - hotel to pool or pool to beach - monitoring you to produce it. Very relaxing. There is no coffee in the room, forcing you to travel across the whole huge facility (3 towers connected by long walks) to their coffee shop to pay $10 for a cup of coffee each morning. You could walk all the way back to your room, or - like me - you can try to drink it by the pool. But NO! You can't sit by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately. Hovering, as usual. To get a lounge on the beach - in February, low season - we had to get in line to sign up for a chair and then get in a second line of 20-30 people and wait in the hot sun for an available, assigned chair and a staff person to take us there. Grab a chair and relax? Nope. It's a monitored system. When we checked out, the staff told us there were too many rooms to provide a coffee maker in each one. I guess their policy is to assume their guests are stupid.
