My last review of this place was 11 years ago. In my review, I noted how they had a bad overall…read morerating and gave 4 stars. A lot has changed. I took my car in for a brake job on 4/8. It was advised that I needed new front pads and rotors, and that a complete brake inspection was done (on my invoice). One month later, I noticed my left front brake was extremely hot, and there was a burning smell. Prior to this, I had noticed some brake noise and slight pull, but did not think of it. I immediately brought it back in. I was told that my caliper was sticking and it would be repaired. That same evening, I called for an update (as they did not follow up) and was told they could not get parts and would not be able to complete for another two days. They ended up completing the work without calling my warranty company for authorization. When I tried to pick up the vehicle, they finally called the warranty company, and my claim was denied as they changed the diagnoses to "failed hose," which should have been done when they replaced my brakes and inspected a month earlier. I finally left with my car three hours later after paying the nearly $600 bill (for the second time). The very next morning, after driving 4 miles, I had smoke billowing out of my brakes. I called the store and was accused by Gloria of "wanting something for free" and she reluctantly covered the tow truck to pick my jeep back up. Later that evening, I called for another follow up (as nobody called me) and was told by Tiffany that it was a defective rotor. She agreed to keep the rotor so I could inspect with Carlos and the tech the following morning when I picked up my jeep. The following morning, I arrived and picked up my Jeep. I asked Carlos to show me the failed rotor with the tech, and he immediately advised that it was NOT the rotor, but rather that the tech did not replace the hoses or complete the actual brake job that they invoiced for. They sent me away with an unsafe vehicle that was never actually repaired, which is a huge safety issue. The shop has since taken zero accountability, and the corporate team is gaslighting me. They have offered a coupon for a future visit, with no real solution for the negligence. As someone that has spent well over $20k with this company, I will no longer be a patron. They need to do better.

I was pretty stressed out as I needed to get back on the road ASAP and this baby was suffering. I cannot tell you how sympathetic, kind, and helpful these guys were. The manager, Bill, listened to my ridiculous story and had the guys get my car right in a bay. A mechanic named Christian went right to work to get the critter out, explaining what he found, and just being super nice. Another mechanic, the one who moved my car in the bay, was also really friendly but I didn't catch his name. Anyway, I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but they didn't even charge me. It was such an act of kindness in what at that point had been 16 hours of awfulness (endless phone calls, rudeness from others, only 2.5 hours of sleep in the middle of a road trip), that I wanted to cry. As I walked into the customer waiting area I was blown away by the size and cleanliness of the shop. I have been to restaurants that aren't as clean and welcoming as this place. Beautiful checkered floors, a 50 plus inch flat screen and a very comfortable waiting area. They even have a large kids playroom with castle tents and a large flat screen for them to watch. They also have some tables around so if you are going to be there a while you can have food delivered to you while you wait. Wanda and her husband are absolutely wonderful. I price checked around for other items before I chose to go there and they beat every price for product and labor without even knowing that I was checking bids. Unfortunately, I need that compressor but installation will be at least $300 less than all the other options in the area. I also think that it is pretty awesome that there is finally a place where women can go and not feel that they have to bring some guy to keep from getting ripped off. I finally have a garage that I trust for all of my repairs and since I am buying another used vehicle soon I think that is pretty huge.

I called Discount Tires and they told me it would be a 3 hr wait so I used Yelp to find another place to get tire fixed. I came across this business and called and the gentleman who answered the phone said "Come on in and we will fix it for you!" I told him I was from out of town and he said "We got you!" Had been told on more than one occasion that I needed the timing belt changed. I called this place for a ballpark figure over the phone. Doug was very helpful. He checked on a few things and called me back very quickly with a quote that I thought was fair. On bringing my car in for the service, I met Mike, the owner and primary mechanic. He looked the car over with me and explained that I did not need the timing belt chain changed if I had maintained good oil changes (which I have). He kept the car and called me within the hour about the "road trip ready" inpection he did and what he found. He found several small, but fixable repairs that need to be addressed. All repair costs were fair. He used USA parts. He explained everything to my satisfaction. Overall, I was extremely impressed and pleased with the services here. I'd give no stars if it was possible…read more One of my tires blew out on i4, and the Walmart Auto Care center at 3250 Vineland Rd was the closest location. I towed my car to the location, and there were two cars in line. I went up to the gentleman under the checkin tent and explained that my tire was fully flat. I then asked him if I could stand in line myself to avoid further damage to my car. After a few minutes he told me to wait by my car and he would go over to me. About ten minutes passed before the guy approached me and said to just bring the car into the line. By then, 3 more cars had joined the queue so I waited in vain. Finally, service was started on my car. About 30 minutes later, the gentleman approached me to advise me that my car had wheel lug locks, and that they'd need the key to perform any service on it. I asked if I could leave my car overnight so I could figure out what to do. I was advised that I could leave it, but they weren't responsible for theft or damage. I mentioned I would be leaving the car to THREE different employees. When I arrived at the car care center the next day, my car had been towed. I went to the Customer Service desk for information and was advised that Walmart only rents the building, and doesn't own the lot. Therefore, overnight vehicles aren't allowed. Had I been warned of this, I would have figured out a way to move my car that day. Their indifference and lack of empathy ended up costing me an extra $175 to what was already a costly repair. Definitely never going back there again.
