Avoid this place. Absolutely horrible customer service. Rude female worker was being completely disrespectful to customers. Snapping at everyone to step back and that she will tell them when their food is ready. There wasn't really e much of a 'boundary' to stand behind and nobody was even close to the pickup area other than grabbing utensils and napkins. Customers were not even close to the counter. She then got into it with one customer, because they were not far enough back in her mind. She started arguing with the customer then stormed off to the back room. How about asking customers nicely, inform them of where to actually wait instead of talking rudely to them. People order, then go to the opposite side to grab napkins, straws, etc. No need to snap at them then get in an argument with a customer. The overall environment was a cluster, they were complaining about breaks, trying to get in touch with a manager, and then just closed and shut down the line. Some people that had been waiting had to go someplace else. Completely abrupt and unprofessional. The one bright side was there was one worker prepping food and he kept his head down. Was at Ohare last night 11/12/23 and this place caught our eye and looked good. We walk up and looked at the menu and the very rude cashier said to us "what do you want?" We replied with we wanted chicken sandwiches and tenders and she just says "we don't got chicken" so then we decided we are gonna go take a look around at other options, my kids decided they wanted to try RJ Grunts burgers instead of Burger King so we went back, while standing there waiting at the front to place my order, the rude cashier and the guy working the grill were just standing there and rudely talking back and forth to each other saying "I don't want to help them or take their order, you do it" when I proceeded to tell her my order, the attitude from her was absolutely disgusting and she should not be working there. Just rude and disrespectful . The burgers were not bad I'll give them that but the customer service from this place is unbelievably ridiculous and if they don't change it , that is what's gonna affect their business. I will never be returning to this place again due to the lake of respect for customers this staff has. Really nothing special. Nothing much separates this from chain fast food. Perhaps the burger patty was fresher/thicker but the fries were nothing unique. You would probably do just as well and perhaps a little cheaper to choose Burger King. For $20, make sure you are ONLY in the mood for a burger. The burgers are small but packed with flavor. They even ask how you want it cooked - surprising for being a "fast food" airport restaurant. I recommend the Gruntburger with bacon. If they had jalepenos it would be perfect. Since they do not - be sure to get the onions or pickles for that extra crunch. The serving of fries is huge - way more than I expected and perfectly cooked. Made my layover at O'Hare fantastic. read more

If I could give this place a minus 100 rating i would. I stood in line for 20 minutes to order a chicken sandwich asked why they didn't have it on the board that they were out of chicken that "it wasn't his problem". I travel for my job and will tell every person I know that travels for their job as well to NEVER eat at this place in the airport or in the city. They don't deserve anyone's money for an attitude like that. They offer a service and couldn't even be bothered to apologize. Seems that LEYE took over the food monopoly on Terminal 5. And that would be ok if they are on top of their quality and service like they are in the city locations. At the terminal, had breakfast classic, bad food, even worse service. Seems that they are led by airport skimming policy, as if I will eat once and never come back anyways. Like everything in the airport, waaaaay over priced but in line with everything here. If you want a burger I would go to Hub 51 instead of this place, I saw their burger and it looked AMAZE-BALLS! While some employees were efficient others were taking alllll the time in the world. And, aren't beard nets a requirement?? Most everyone seemed more interested in socializing than working. That is until the manager came out and then everyone got to work. Otherwise the food was decent yet pricey. It was so nice to go to the revamped Terminal 5 at O'Hare. The queues were ridiculous to get through security etc but at least when we got through, there were some restaurants to eat at and shops to go to, unlike before where it was pretty much tumbleweed and a Hudson. We decided to have RJ Grunts, never having tried it before as we fly through Chicago but then go on to Wisconsin, so never stop off. It was pretty expensive - $10 or so per burger, plus $5 for one order of fries, which we shared, and another $3 or so for the drink we shared. It was delicious. Probably not delicious for landside, but for an airport, excellent. They took their time and it was made fresh to order, dripping with juice and tastiness. The one order of fries was more than the two of us could finish, and they were fresh and skin-on. read more
