3.5 One of the airport choices at Food Hub 51 which was near our departure gate. Can order on the app but pick-up time was too long. Went to the counter instead and was faster. There is seating in that area but brought the food on the plane. Better Bacon cheddar burger with veggie toppings and fries were ok. I saw the patty cooking on the grill for a while so I thought would be dry but it wasn't.

Why does this have such low ratings?? It's in an airport! What are you expecting? I for sure was not expecting the food to be so delicious. It's in an airport. It has no business being as tasty as it is. I got a breakfast sandwich and it came with tater tots. I hate having greasy, heavy food before a flight and was telling my husband this. But there we were. That first bite took me way off guard. The bacon was thick, with a lovely smoked flavor without any of the grease! The egg was a fluffy pillow of a bite! The bread! Oh. My. Gosh! The bread was so good. Like...are they baking it themselves? They can't be...can they? It's got great chew. The tots! A light crispy outside and the flakiest, hashiest potato pieces inside. Yes, you can get McDonald's, but this! This was beyond my expectations, which might be why I thought it was so good. There's plenty of seating for folks waiting for flights. I noticed some tables even had outlets for charging your electronics. Bathrooms are right there with a water bottle filling station too. So it makes for a very easy place to stop and gather your bearings before heading to your gate. It's clean and nicely lit, and pretty quiet. 10/10 would get again.

    Chicago hot dog and fries

Got the job done! While waiting at my terminal for my flight home, I remembered that I didn't get to try a Chicago style hot dog while I was here on my short "long weekend" trip. Chicago dogs are my sister's favorite type of hotdog, so I wanted to make sure I had one for her while I was here. Searching for food at my terminal, I was a little panicked, wondering if I'd find a place that offered it for my lunch. A couple different workers I passed by suggested that RJ Grunts may have them, so off I went to check out their menu. Sure enough, it was my chance! The ambiance, of course, is very casual. It's a fast food restaurant in an airport--what do you expect? The line was short and while service was not the most smiley or friendly, they were polite enough and were pretty fast on getting orders cranked out. I ordered my Chicago hot dog, which came with fries. Prices are high, in my opinion. I paid a total of $18.79 (which included my tip. The side of fries looked equivalent to a small and the hot dog is standard size. Regardless, everything was tasty. The fries were hot and fresh. The hotdog was piled with the classic toppings. The relish was an interesting color, but perhaps (hopefully) that's normal?? I'm not sure why the reviews are so low, but I enjoyed everything. Thanks for completing my trip to Chicago!

Poor service. Low quality beef for hamburger, cold fries, I did not even want to ask for hot fries.

It's pretty simple with really high prices. Everything is made fresh to order but my fries were not fresh--they were lukewarm. I liked the burger. It was cooked perfectly. The hotdog was good too but I preferred hot, crisp fries and lower prices. Their prices are ridiculously high,

RJ Grunts is well known for its burger and fries. I was at O'Hare in the international terminal and hungry so I stopped by. I decided to try their crispy chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed! Their bun was on the thinner side and very tasty, I would call it a premium bun--like Hawaiian sweet bread, but not as sweet--delicious! Pickles were fresh and of the dill variety, nice and tart, just the way I like 'em! Now to the crispy chicken--it was, in fact, crispy, with a light but delicious breading. The chicken filled out my bun nicely. It was thicker than your standard fast food chicken sandwich, but not too big. All-in-all, this was a surprisingly pleasant food stop at the international airport, definitely worth a try!

It's airport food. You're going to spend a lot for mediocre food. It's fried food - it's edible but it's nothing to write home about.

Literally mold on the bun they served. Reprehensible and vile they would serve this. Only come here if you want food poisoning.

Horrible. There was tons of mold on the bun they served for the Chicago dog. My partner's bun was burnt to all hell. The only flavor you could taste was the tar of a hockey puck. This place is repugnant and vile and charging exorbitant fees to poison you. Don't come here. Save yourself.

The Original LEY Spot- so it's historically significant in the food world, and the place is regularly jammed full of people. Tables are small in consideration of the large portions (both a gripe and a compliment, I suppose). On that note, food was great- better than I had expected to be honest. Their new custom salad menu is pretty awesome as well. I think the majority of visitors will be pleased with the experience. Don't go too hard on appetizers. All portions are pretty generous.

My Buffalo Chicken Sandwich tasted like a black bean Veggie Burger. At least the beer tasted good.

Avoid. Slow service, overpriced, not even half decent. Food was cold when I got it after 25 minutes.

I would rate more than one star for the food. However, service is extremely bad. The cashier lady is extremely rude.

And wow, I haven't seen such a big, festive, and popular fast food restaurant grand opening in a long time. The last fast food grand opening that I witnessed that was as big and popular and created such a fuss might have been either a Naf Naf or a Chick Fil-A grand opening many years ago in Naperville. This was quite a bash that Guzman y Gomez conducted on their grand opening today. The crowd, including ourselves, were attracted by the $5 deal on burritos and burrito bowls. We came in at about 4:45pm and there were police directing traffic, advertising sign holders standing along busy Mannheim Rd, a 3-man band playing at the entrance, and also a modest queue to enter and order. The place was hopping and it was festive for sure. I was told GYG does this at all of the grand openings for their stores, and that's cool! Well, we ordered a carryout burrito with beef brisket and pinto beans and also a burrito bowl with flank steak and pinto beans. Even with so many customers, we still had only a 10 minute wait for the food prep. The burrito and burrito bowl were tip-top fresh and delicious and at $5 were 40% off of their regular $8.30 price. There were a ton of employees all busy and looking coordinated and GYG did a good job being prepared for the all day crush today. Their store is big and bright, and has a patio section as well as a drive thru. Congratulations on a very successful grand opening day and welcome to Des Plaines! Tomorrow, July 18, they commence with their regular pricing and product offerings.

Decor pays homage to its hometown and old school pizzaria vibe. There's one side specifically for togo/online pick up. Restrooms are clean and there are plenty of parking. We noticed some people just sitting on their tables playing with their phones like they were done eating...and then it dawned on us that they were waiting for their 45 mins. pizza. SMH CUSTOMER SERVICE: We were greeted and seated immediatedly. Our server was very nice and she answered all of our questions...I just wished she asked what pizza we wanted first because the last thing she told us after we took our drink order and everything else is that the pizza will take 45 minutes to cook! Which in my mind sounds like a gimmick for us to buy more food while we wait but we were super hungry anyway so it was not an issue for us that day. Anyway, she saw couldn't decide what pizza to get so she suggested we can order half and half! Success! Then, when our pizza finally arrived, our pizza server (a sweet Filipina) insisted on serving our pizza to demonstrate the dramactic cheese pull..and which I appreciated that she indulged me on doing it again for an insta boomering...success! FOOD We ordered the a Chicago deep pizza ofcourse, 10 inch, half pepperoni and half the special. We added the sampler and calamari and house salad. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted so light and refreshing on top of the fresh mozarella and bread that even my son whom dislikes tomatoes devoured them. The fried mozarella on their marinari was bomb, same with the chicken nuggets. Now the calamari was completely unexpected. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of chewy rings...but instead it came with the tentacles and fried lemon (which are very bitter) and banana peppers. They were so good especially with a dollop of the marinara sauce. The house salad with the Giordano dressing was delicious. And they did not lie, that pizza arrived in about 45 minutes and by then we were feeling a bit stuffed. The pizza was as promised...it was thick, cheesey and stuffed with fat pieces of sausage and lots of pepperoni. I will probably hold off on the onions next time because there was a lot. Sad to say we had no room for dessert but we were very satisfied. Overall, this visit was an excellent in person experience. We've had a to-go order and a frozen one before but experiencing it in person and in Chicago made it extra special. Price point is pretty fair considering on the quality and amount of food you get. Perfect place to dine with groups of all sizes. May want to order ahead prior to getting to the restaurant, or take your time eating the appetizers to help pass time while you wait for your pizza.
