I didn't think anything of it until I had to sell the car two weeks ago because of the knocking sound due to an internal engine failure. When I notified him of this prior to the in person diagnosis, he continually instructed myself to get an oil change, when I knew it had nothing to do with the oil. He made me believe that I was ill informed and uneducated about my car dilemma. I am disgusted by this purchase, I did not have the car for at least two years before it presented this major issue. He haggled me and told me after, It would range around 2000- 3500 for labor costs, and then proceeded to say if I decided to go through with the job that he will be on vacation. The worst part is I was referred to this guy by my uncle, who is known to be crass about money. My autistic son and I are severely limited with transportation options due to this shady purchase from this company. Be careful entrusting this company with all your mechanic needs. A friend of mine who owns a BMW sent me to Eurotech when I mentioned the dealer wanted to replace my fuel injectors ( about $3000 ). I talked to Steve at Eurotech and he said "I doubt the problem is your injectors". He was right - just a mass airflow sensor and thermostat.
