My buddy invited me here months ago as he said it's got great food and the staff are great. Since then, I've made it a point to come here as much as I can. There have been a couple times they were jam packed when I've come in and despite being short staffed, they got it done. No one was waiting, they were very attentive and made sure everyone was happy. If you love great music, great live bands, playing pool or just enjoying conversation with people, Roadhouse 38 is the place. Rose could be the best manager there is - she is so warm and welcoming and really makes you not want to leave. In fact, I did come in on thanksgiving with my friend and actually had one of the best times with Rose playing pool. Kicked her ass but she is definitely is down for a challenge with any takers. And don't forget to Get the steak sandwich...she talked me into it and it's pretty damn good! read more

It's just ok. Very disappointed by the $13 Ceasar salad that was smaller than most side salads. The parmesan cheese? Not shaved. Looked like it was shaken from a container. Also ordered fish dinner. No tarter sauce and the fish was uniform in size and shape, as if it came from GFS. Won't be going back. Gave it 3 stars because the staff was nice. Despite the lackluster rating this place has my experience is very good. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. If I came here again I might get a burger with less toppings because the burger itself was that good. There is a credit card charge which isn't big but still a little annoying. read more

We came on Friday night, first week they were open. There were plenty of tables available and had at least six waitstaff waiting to go. We had a party at three and we ordered wings, salad, and the fish and chips. All we're average, nothing spectacular or special anything served. The fish and chips was pressed frozen fish fried, no special hand dipped beer batter here! After we ordered, it took 43 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was pleasant and tentative. Oh yeah, I almost choked to death on a huge cabbage core piece in my coleslaw! We ordered the Funnel Cake Fries, which had maybe three flakes of powdered sugar and served with cold chocolate syrup- definitely not worth the $7. The interior looks the same from the last three restaurants that were here except there's a lot of red, white, and blue. The music is strictly Country and there's plenty of TVs to watch a game. Sat at the bar and Ordered 10 grilled shrimp for 16$ also 10 for 16$ wings traditional naked Crispy. Hannah, the bar tender, brought my food. I asked her if the wings were crispy cooked because the wings weren't browned.. Hannah assured me they're well done even though wings didn't look right to me. After eating 1 wing I realized they were not as well cooked as Hannah wanted me to believe plus there was still water inside the wing and on wing, excess amount of feathers !! So I tell Hannah about the feathers and asked her if they would fry my wings for a few more seconds. she tried to convince me that all wings are like that in a lecturing tone, as if I was a child!! Not sure what Hannah's apprehension was to cook the wings for a couple seconds more was, but she ruined my 1st night here and my introduction to Singo!! The place wasn't even that busy! The place is nice inside with plenty of parking, the interior lay-out is ok!! The shrimp was kinda small and had an after taste as if, was grilled on a backyard BBQ...w/out cleaning it first!! Stumbled across Roadhouse 38 by accident. Food was excellent. Service was even better. Ask for Rose. Best server we have had in a long time.

I came here tonight and one of the servers was so rude I'm 21 years old and she laughed at my id and my friends. She was so rude for the rest of the night and came every 40 minutes wearing headphones. She also threw the menus at us. read more

I love THIS PLACE!!! Amber is especially a highlight at this restaurant/venue. The food is terrific, but I have to mention the staff/personnel here. These are a wonderful group of people and very friendly:) I've been coming here since this past fall. Amber (GM) , was the first person I met here. She was as welcoming and sincere my first visit as she is today. She runs a tight ship and is a pleasure to deal with:) These guys are going to last here, I believe it. Please do yourself a favor and give a visit when you can. I am so pleased and grateful to have this Roadhouse 38 to call a regular spot and go-to whenever friends are in town. We tried it for the first time and enjoyed it. The weight was a little long and they don't take names which could end up creating some problems. I had a bugger that was good, Salmon was hand and that was very good. One other person had a salad but it was very wet, a lot of water on the bottom of the bowl. It seems that they didn't drain it very well. Wish they had more local beers from the local brewers, More, Noonwhistle, etc. Kristen was our server and she was GREAT!!
