Our fresh, straight out of the oven garlic rosemary bread was some of the most amazing bread I've ever had. The flavors were perfect, the crunch was divine, and I love that they keep baking throughout the day. Our only slight neutral was our apple cheddar scone was cold and we expected it to be either warm from the oven or warmed up, but our peanut butter cookie was soft and incredible. All in all the service was friendly and the line system is easy to navigate so I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you get a chance. It's 1000% worth the drive and the nearby garden is gorgeous!

There is also a gift shop attached which offers lots of souvenirs from the movie The Birds that was filmed in the area many years ago. Parking is a real challenge as the lots for these restaurants are super small as they are right on Highway 1.

Great coffee, great pastries, embarrassingly bad service. My wife and I walk in the morning of January 6th. There's one employee inside helping out customers. A second employee walks in, goes behind the counter, makes herself a drink, and starts talking to the first employee. The first employee stops making drinks and starts talking poorly of the owners decision making with the second employee. I was shocked at this point because instead of the second employee helping, she stopped the whole program. The first employee slowly goes back to making the coffee while still talking poorly about the owner with the second employee. At this point I had to leave... I left my wife in there to finish up. While im out at our car, I see the second employee leave the coffee shop and get in her own car and leave. So this person didn't even have a shift. Instead she came in to make herself a coffee, distract the on shift employee, and speak negatively about the owner in front of customers. Not what I expected at all. This place rocks! I used to live there and it's still one of the cool places where all the locals go... I have read a couple crazy things here on Yelp... I couldn't believe the one bad review... what a bunch of crap. Just cause you think the locals should kneel at your feet and bow down to your Valley livin ass....
