Their cappuccino with oat milk might be the best cappuccino I've ever had! It was incredibly smooth, rich, and creamy/frothy. Almond croissant was also really delicious, though a bit too sweet for me, but the flaky soft texture was absolutely perfectttt. And the sweetness would've been addicting if you're into sweets that much... Good service. Very small place, with 1 table with a few chairs. Not a good place to work, although I got here when it opened and was able to get the table and a power outlet next to it. Wifi is pretty decent. read more

Came here on 7/3 and 7/4 for coffee in the morning between 7:30-8AM. We ordered Cappuccino, Cubano, and Hot Coco for the kids. A very small cozy shop located in Bodega Bay, CA Prices were average, and the all the drinks we ordered were great. The lady asked me if the hot chocolates were for the kids, so she can make it less hot for them to drink. So thoughtful!! My caramel latte was just right, but my wife's caramel mocha seemed like it was missing the caramel. I went back inside (we sat outside at one of the two or three tables) and asked Donny if I could get a couple more pumps of caramel. He brought the bottle to me and said, "I can let you add however much you need," and that was unexpected. I added what I needed to, and it was good for my wife's liking. My wife had a chocolate croissant and said it was good -- flaky and crusty. I opted for the GF blueberry cream cheese coffee cake (not sure of exactly what it's called), and it was delicious. Lots of blueberries throughout, and the crumb topping was just right. Donny took our order and was very nice and helpful. I loved the inside and the seating area -- very cozy. But as I said, we opted for an outside table because of the weather. And if we ever get back to Bodega Bay for breakfast, we wouldn't go anyplace else! read more

We found this place on yelp. It's in a small shopping center but there was a lot of parking. It's a cute little coffee house. It was a grab and go. There was nowhere to sit. The price was definitely reasonable. I got a latte it was pretty amazing. The person who helped us was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place. read more

My husband and I enjoyed our Americanos and my Dad liked his latte. We stopped in it on our way down the coast. It was such a cute shop! During Covid only one party in at a time; we waited maybe 10 minutes for another party. There was only one person working- he was a super sweet old man. The coffee is cheap for a cafe and he steams the milk himself in front of you. I got the blueberry coffee cake (I think the pastry items change daily based on the sign) and it was delicious, very. buttery. Great Cafe AU LAIT - nothing like hot GOOD coffee! Next time I will ask where their coffee beans are from. I arrived by 10am and the case only had a couple of choices; however, ALMOND CROISSANT was still nice and crispy at bite and light in the middle just like I like it. And the almonds gave it that extra crunch. Just a REMINDER: it is a coffee house and other than pastries, there isn't any other hot savory things off their menu. It's a very small place with two oversized inviting chairs in a corner of the front entrance. If people start coming in to order, the place is cramped and can feel claustrophobic. But there are additional seats/table outside. Or take your items and go drink it along the coast like I did. Nice and friendly staff! She gave me local Tip Guides where she likes her local seafood restaurants. I tried 3/3'she enjoyed, so it was nice validation that even locals enjoyed those Establishments. read more

This is truly quality coffee. If you are in the area and love a good cappuccino or latte you need to stop by. When it's that good you want a bottomless cup to savor every sip. I highly recommend the scrumptious blueberry coffee cake--probably a million calories, because it's that good. I need the recipe! The cherry almond scone also really hits the spot. I have to admit that I love a small coffee shop, especially if they have musical instruments hanging on the wall, plus the owner is a motorcyclist. Having said that, I ordered a mocha with a homemade peanut butter cookie...YUM! (personal favorite) So I sat down with a guitar and did my best Eric Clapton imitation, the locals seem to enjoy the music (no cover charge). I take request but I keep playing. ..lol If I lived here, I'm sure I'd hang out...sippin coffee and riffin' on the acoustic, do yourself a favor, stop and smell the roses, enjoy the local vibe. I am VERY fussy about MY espressos. Particularly when I order a "dry cappuchino". Seldom is it dry. Seldom is the espresso dark and tasty, instead it tends to be watery and transparent. We wanted coffee and went to Roadhouse Coffee. It's before the downhill into Bodega Head so get it before going down or after hiking. Small shop that a old hippie guy will make your coffee. His daughter makes the pastries. I got a 12oz latte $2.50 - it tasted fine, but didn't keep me up. Still was able to nap on the way home, glad I wasn't driving. B. got an Americano 12oz $2.50 - it's black coffee with some water. He seemed to like his, at least he didn't fall asleep. The coffee cake was good. However, at 9:30am this was all they had. I had called earlier to ask if they had outdoor seating and this adorable young girl answered the phone (5-8 yrs old?). Quite helpful actually. So when we were at the coffeehouse, I asked the guy working who that was. He snapped at me, said very angrily that his cell was the only number for the store.I said nothing, I had no idea how to respond.
