Awesome place! I had the vegan pulled pork and it is absolutely delicious! Jackfruit can sometimes be weird when cooked incorrectly but they completely nailed it! My mom is not vegan and had the brisket sandwich which she said was amazing! The employees are super nice and will help you pick out something if you're unsure what to get. Trying new places out was referred to this sandwich shop by a friend. After reading all of the reviews, I was pretty excited to try it out! The inside was neat and clean. We went in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier was friendly. I ordered 2 kid's grilled cheese sandwiches and a pulled pork sandwich. The kid's grilled cheese sandwiches were made of 2 hamburger bottom breads turned inside out with sliced cheese that was barely melted. My children did not like them. The pulled pork sandwich was ok. The taste wasn't anything special for me to want to come and try again. The location is great and they do give shout outs to the local vendors which I love! But We probably will not return. read more

Wow! So good! Our first time there we dined in, I got the ultimate falafel wrap and hubs got the kimchicky wrap; we sat there nodding our heads and making "mmmm-mmm" sounds. The second time we dined and dashed; we both got the barbacoa torta dip and side salads, both were very good but the salad stole the show for us. The freshness and quality of vegetables were excellent and the house made dressings were delicious. We're going to become regulars there. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Roast is easily one of the premier sandwich joints in MooCo, and will be a member of the upper echelon of restaurants in the county for years-I predict. The brisket sandwich is their crown jewel, imo. I'm a brisket purist, "just eat it with a fork,"is usually my attitude. Roast's brisket sandwich is built atop a sesame hogie roll, topped with peppercini, a delicate horseradish cream and thinly sliced cheddar-it is an excellent composition, and the brisket is appropriately complimented by the other components, not overpowered by those. I've also tried the rebel BBQ sandwich, which was also delicious, as was the ham crack sandwich with homemade mustard. In speaking with the owners, it is clear their focus is providing food crafted with the best ingredients available-no corners are cut, right down to the local pickle garnish on your tray-which are also delicious! Abundant selection of local and regional craft beers available to enjoy with a meal also. Roast is putting out food on par with the best restaurants in our county, think Ashten's-level focus on quality and composition. Mildly eclectic comfort food, abundant uncompromising quality, ample portions, a solid (and tasty) kids menu, AND craft beverages, makes Roast a must-try. 6 out of 5 stars. Maybe the best pulled pork sandwich in the county. Absolutely 100% best brisket sandwich in MooCo. I may have the unpopular opinion here but I wasn't that impressed. We live nearby and I would love nothing more than for this restaurant to succeed. However, strictly taste, the food isn't anything special. My husband and I both ordered the General Tso chicken sandwich and although pretty good, it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. Maybe a little more cilantro and spice would help. My tea tasted spoiled and the Ramen was horrible! Seriously, it tasted fishy, to the point we took a bite, stirred it and tried again, and threw away. Ramen alone was almost $15 with tax. The positive is their location, drive up window, and super friendly staff! I'd be willing to give them another try (not that Ramen though) since it was our first time. read more

This place is awesome, super fresh and farm to table. We were extremely impressed with the staff, the space and of course the food. I have a dairy allergy and they went above and beyond to accommodate (this rarely happens at other restaurants) and have me such a delicious sandwich. ROAST is my new favorite restaurant by FAR! I recently had to go gluten free and had seen where they offered gluten free buns, so I was excited to go. I reached out them via Facebook to find out if they could make the chicken katsu gluten free, because that is what I was really looking forward to getting. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered gluten free panko for the chicken. Upon arriving, the sweet lady working the register was so accommodating and friendly. Besides that, the food was AMAZING! Such high quality and easily the best food I have had since going gluten free. I cannot wait to come back. read more

Never disappointed. It's hard to stray from our favorites, the Gen Tso's Bahn Mi sandwich and Protein Workout salad. The seafood free crab cake with a side salad and roast beef are close second favorites. Wish they'd bring back the skinny chicken sandwich and the greek salad they had as a special. read more

This was my first chance to get here since they opened, and I have to say the food was spectacular and the service incredible. Absolute rock-star joint. Staff was incredibly helpful and nice. My wife and I ordered two sandwiches, the black angus brisket. The gluten-free hoagie was moist, and tasty. The brisket was tender, delicious, and the real kicker is the amount of meat put into the sandwich (estimated weight of both sandwiches was about 2.5lbs). Additionally, I called ahead and asked about the fryers and whether they had separate fryers. The young lady checked and said yes but followed it up with a phone call back to me saying she asked the chef to make sure and found out that the fryer was shared with a gluten item. That, folks is customer service. Clean, fantastic menu, and a warm welcoming staff this IS THE PLACE TO GO. Thanks for a great meal, we will be back soon. read more

Delicious food! Gourmet sandwiches and even vegan sandwiches ON THE MENU!! My daughter had the jackfruit bbq pulled pork! It was outstanding even for a non vegan like me! I had the Black Angus Brisket. Great flavor and the pepperonchini and red peppers were a great accompaniment. Excellen beer, wine, cider and hard seltzer selection as well. Amazing place! I love the staff. Every time the family goes or we do pick up it is amazing. Wonderful food, great atmosphere. One time we did pick up and pool... I didn't check the bag and they tried to deliver us the sandwich that wasn't in there. We wouldn't allow it, so we called at our convince, they made us another one fresh and when we went to pick it up they felt so bad they gave us desert!!
