Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a used vehicle from Robbins Chevrolet! The manager, Josh Milan, definitely lacks integrity. The GM, Fernando Gomero, isn't much better. I'll give you the short version of what happened to us but trust me, you don't want the headache. I guarantee, they'll reach out to me after I tell ya'll our horror story. Here goes: In September 2019, my bf purchased a 2012 Camaro from Robbins Pre-Owned. He put $4,000 cash down and financed the rest. He was assured that the car was "certified and passed a multi-point inspection". LIES. Two weeks after purchase, we changed the oil and guess what? SLUDGE. Three weeks after that, we took the car back to Robbins for diagnostics since something seemed wrong. They said they found nothing. We have been at this dealership every month since purchase because of one issue or another. The service advisor, Wayne-don't get me started. Anyway, in February we took the car up ther because the back, passenger tire was now leaning inward-towards the wheel well- and the car shook violently when driving. Robbins determined that the arm bar had bent and was broken. They said it was partially our fault that PART OF THE FRAME broke because the car had been side swiped when someone who couldn't drive, parked waaaaaay to close and knocked off the passenger mirror. They offered to repair it- IF WE SPLIT THE COST. Like idiots, we agreed. Here we are in April. As my bf drives home from work, the car begins to sputter and the dash lights up like a Christmas tree. He barely makes it to the dealership before it died in their driveway. Robbins determined this was due to an exhausted alternator and dead battery. They have had our car for two weeks without even a follow up call to tell us service was completed or to even tell us to F off. Radio silence on their part. My bf went to the dealership last week and asked to at least get his belongings out since they won't communicate.When taken to the back, his Camaro was sitting with the trunk, doors, and hood open -and all his belongings unsecured or protected. He got most of his stuff but his previous cell phone is missing. We have talked to Josh and Fernando hoping either would help us out here. We just wanted to settle the dispute, get the car fixed, or trade the vehicle for something of equal value. No deal. They didn't even try. I'm now working directly with GM Motors. Maybe they can light a fire under Robbins Chevrolet. There's so much more to the story- like the fact that we were present when the GM, Fernando Gomero, reamed Josh Milan via phone, that he "specifically told {Josh} not to buy and sell cars with so many miles". The service received here was worth every penny I spent on the new purchase for my wife. I was used to walking into dealerships under pressure because I knew I was gonna have to play their game. I can honestly say this has been the first time I have ever spent time looking at cars and pricing with no pressure from the sales man or sales managers. My wife and I felt right at home and we will absolutely make this our to go place moving forward. I want to thank Mr Ken (sales man) for being so professional and very knowledgeable. On Saturday morning 7/13 since it was our first stop of the day after being treated so professionally and friendly at the same time we moved on shopping around at different places and by 5pm we decided that Robbins was the place to go because of the treatment received by Mr Ken. Up on return my wife found the car she wanted and we were greeted by Mr Roberto (sales man) he also made us feel right at home and complimented everything Mr Ken had done for us in the morning. From test drives to pricing, etc. We are happy with our purchase and also happy to have found the first place with people and sales man that stand out from the rest of dealerships in the Houston area. I will definitely recommend my family and friends here. By the way! Even though Mr Roberto was the second person helping us when we came back and did a perfect job we insisted that Mr Ken also be recognized for that sale because it was due to his personality and professionalism that morning that we returned to make a purchase there but never made it to Mr Ken when we arrived to the dealership. Best thing is that Roberto gladly agreed so that made me feel better and reassured me that this is a true family oriented business. Y'all are the best! read more

I was in North Houston for a convention when my 1994 White Chevy Sliverado finally had her transmission malfunction (over 550k miles!). So, I finally decided it was time to get a new truck (Chevy of course). I found my self at Robbins Chevrolet in the small town of Humble. I am an old fashion guy who hates sales people bugging me when I am looking. To my surprise they let me be and do my business. I was looking at some trucks and found one that could the job (Colorado). I went in and was approached by a young salesman. He treated me nice and fair. I don't ask for much I just want to be respected and not taken advantage of. He actually helped me make the best choice in terms of payment. I also wanted my truck white in memory of my old truck and he made it happen. Great guy and I could not recommend him more. His name was Matrix. I know I looked at trucks a year ago and now my payment is about 86 dollars less then what I was quoted down in league city. (not sure if it was the SAME exact Colorado). The dealership seemed very nice and clean I think it is new. The restroom was clean too. Its been a few weeks now and I am still happy with my purchase. We walked in the lot and no one came out to greet us, we made it all the way to the pre-owned section and that is when Chris West came out greeted us, walked in the smoldering heat with us and showed us car after car IN THE NEW CAR SECTION. I was very impressed as he didn't try to keep us in his department. I was still undecided when i left the lot and had appointments to look at other models at different dealerships, but Chris text me on a Sunday (the dealership is closed on Sundays). He went out of his way to text me on his day off and told me to trust him and give him a chance to get me the car i wanted. I went in the very next day and i had already made my mind to settle for a car that cost 10K less, but he said don't settle if the 2016 Impala LTZ is what you want that's what we are going for. I'd strongly advise against giving your business to this establishment. I entrusted them with my 2020 Silverado for routine servicing, and it was returned with the side steps egregiously bent upward. Despite their assertions that I was responsible, evidence suggested otherwise. They even contradicted themselves by initially stating that my vehicle was never lifted, only to inadvertently reveal a photo through their app that showed the exact opposite. When questioned, the photo conveniently disappeared. While I don't question the integrity of the service advisors--who seemed genuinely uncomfortable with the situation--it's evident that there's a significant issue at the managerial level. My recommendation would be to seek service elsewhere to avoid potential complications and dishonest practices. read more

Offered me half of what my truck was worth even after I brought proof from other dealers what they would give me for my trade in. Waited hours and sales team messed up what I was supposed to pay. Took until midnight to get it straightened out. Took truck in to get recall work performed that I scheduled to find out they didn't have the parts after I had dropped the truck off and already drove home. I live an hour and a half away without traffic. The service writer told me he left at three but there would be someone there that would take care of me. I got there at 330 and everyone is gone and no one can get the keys for my truck. So now I have to take off work to come back and get my truck. And I still have to bring it back when the parts come in. Hours of my life gone and a lot of frustration! read more

Im a straight forward guy and i dont like to hassle when i know what i want. I went to see a vehicle on a Sunday afternoon and it was still there. Immediately went Monday morning when they opened at 9AM and the first guy that walks outside was DJ. Even though the weather was pretty cold and windy he didnt care, the rest of the guys stayed inside drinking their "morning coffee". Told DJ what i wanted, what i was trading in, where my credit was & he took care of the rest. In less than an hour i was signing my paper work while the new truck was being washed and ready to go. Lost my vehicle to the Harvey flood and needed a new truck ASAP. Robbins Chevrolet is advertising all over the web their Harvey relief efforts and support efforts to offer discounts to those affected by Harvey. Robbins represents themselves a family dealership that cares about the community. I spent 2 hours with the salesman going on a test drive and him telling me all the great things about the "Robbins Experience". In the end they quoted me $ 8,430 (23%) more than the EXACT same Silverado truck from Covert Chevy in Bastrop. I felt like the recommendations for additional service were canned responses -- prepared to push particular services without reference to my vehicle's actual condition. The 'tray of fluids' looked like marketing gussied up to provide a veneer of authenticity. To be honest I felt like I was being hustled to buy services I didn't need.
