I've been coming here for a few years now, and I've always had a great experience. Both Feh and Dr. Gray are amazing, and I've been very happy with my results. I am writing this review in behalf of my Mother In Law Aida Cortes , she requested me to write this review for her, because she is not happy of the outcome of the procedure that Dr Gray did on her both eye bags Few months ago she did a filler under her both eyes to remove the eye bags , Dr Gray charged her $2800 filler to remove both of these bags , a month later - she did not like the results because there were still bags under her eyes , and she was not happy of how they looked I contacted Dr Gray's office to let them know that Mom is not happy of the post procedure, Dr Gray's office had us see him to fix the problem , but when we went in , he wanted to charged Mom to fix the problem , so Mom declined , all Dr Gray did was wiping something under her eyes , Mom was upset and still upset , everyday she talks about this, everytime she look at her bags , she feels bad Her point is , why is it that when she did her initial consultation, the Doctor said that in order to remove the bags , she had to pay $2800 which she did , but the result was not what she expected , the bags were still shown , and they don't look good Dr Gray also stated that she took picture from my Mom's phone for before or after which my Mom doesn't have them on her phone I am actually hesitant of writing this review , and maybe I could resolve this problem without writing here but after the last visit , I don't think there will be a solution but for another charges from Gray's office My Mom who is 80 is year old is in distress everytime she look at the mirror she said , this makes her depressed and everyday she talks about this I agree on her point , that when the Doctor initially did the procedure assuring that for $2800 , Mom's bag will disappear , but the result was not as expected because bags were still shown - it's not about the money , but when a patient asked him " I want my eyebags out " , then telling the patient that $2800 eye bags will disappear , and this did not happen , I will not be happy too The worst thing is I referred this Doctor to my Mom , and now I am being bombarded by my Mom's complain I don't know what happen in between but Mom is not happy with the service read more

This place is a Hidden gem in downtown Pleasanton...I promise you they do wonders here! I made an appointment with the spunky, helpful & well knowledgeable Receptionist Diane. I called for an appointment to have my tear troughs filled with filler...She was able squeeze me in with Feh during the time that I needed...which was awesome because every other place I had called was booked up. I met Feh on a Friday her only day that she's there...Feh was awesome...she was very knowledgeable of the filler product, where and how much I needed. I was so skeptical at first because I've never done anything to my face before and I just really wanted to fix my tired looking eyes. Wow is all I can say Feh hooked me up no more tired eyes for me! As a downtown Pleasanton resident of 9 years, I was excited to get the recommendation to see Feh in MD Laser Spa. I'm 36 years old and figured I'm due for "maintenance" on my face. Admittedly I look young for my age, but the fine lines and crows feet around my eyes have been bothering me for some time. I went in for my consultation and appointment, and told Feh I was interested in Botox under my eyes. She suggested under the eyes and on my forehead to even things out. Since this was my first experience with Botox, I trusted that she knew what she was doing (although my forehead shows no lines). During the appointment I realized midway through she was injecting my forehead quite a bit and not much under my eyes. At the time I was hopeful this was normal and she would give me the results I was looking for. Fast forward 2 weeks in my follow-up, Feh immediately said how great I looked, and that my forehead was flawless. I told her I felt very uncomfortable as I couldn't move my eyebrows and was extremely self conscious as this was not my intention whatsoever. I then said I was disappointed as my eyes didn't look much different, and her response was "oh well Botox won't get you those results - you need filler for that." I felt so completely disappointed, uncomfortable, and frustrated that I was led down a path that I was not interested in. My only saving grace was that I knew Botox would wear off, eventually. Upon leaving that appointment I overwhelmingly felt that I was led down the wrong path intentionally so I could come back and spend more money in finding the results I was actually intending for. I decided to call the front desk to discuss my frustration, and was met with more frustration. I was offered an immediate appointment to come in for the filler, which would cost more than my Botox appointment. I was never met with an apology. I got a call from the office manager shortly after, and was offered the same - no apology, and another expensive appointment. I told her I was extremely disappointed in the service and that I paid for something I didn't ask for. My forehead was humiliating and extremely uncomfortable, and my eyes didn't look much different. After a long conversation I thought she understood my point of view and said she'd discuss with the Dr. and get back to me on options. Well fast forward 4 months and I have yet to receive a call. Thankfully, the Botox is just starting to wear off on my forehead and I am starting to feel like myself again. Although been an expensive and frustrating road. As an interior designer, I can equate this experience as delivering a bathroom design when someone paid for a kitchen. I cannot imagine a world where I would answer a client asking for the kitchen, "oh but you got a beautiful bathroom design! A kitchen will cost you $xxx more". It is this lack of client understanding and months of frustration that is leading me to write this review. Save yourself the time and go to a med spa with trustworthy people. read more

I have been going to Dr. Gray for various different procedures for several years . I can't say enough about the power of IPL I've been very very pleased with those treatments!!! I see Shiva for filler and injections and I just have to say that this practice is incredibly lucky to have her, she is truly an artist !she is amazing with how she looks at your face and determines where to do Botox or what filler might be needed. Please beware. Dr. Gray is pushy and doesn't fully inform his clients of the risks of a procedure. I went in for a consultation for botox and ended up getting tear trough filler. He didn't ask me if I had been taking ibuprofen (which I had). I had a horrible reaction with extreme swelling and bruising because he was so rough. I came back multiple times to have it dissolved and am now left with horrible under eye bags that need surgery. I am terrified to go see anyone else because of what he did to me. If you view the picture I recently updated, one small portion of scar tissue post ONE YEAR AFTER laser treatment by M. D. Laser Spa. Everyone signs a form of risk, even for an eye exam. Signing a form is a common procedure, not being left scarred for life. I AM STILL applying daily treatment creams including retinoids and various treatments on 30% of my body. I am left scarred for life. Just please be careful and REALLY know a lot about the physician you decide upon. This one decision has and will have an impact on your life. My name is Sharon Banks. I went to this office on the recommendation of a friend. I pointed out the bags under my eyes and lines on my forehead. I came out 3,200.00 later and was initially pleased. That is until the product never moved! I had huge bags and returned for a follow-up and a few more injections under the eye and sides. the doctor used a w-tip to move and smooth out the product. Two months later I walked in concerned about the huge bulges under my eyes. A nice nurse tried in vain to have the product move from under my eyes. I looked a million times worst then when I went in. Daily I would try to move the product using his technique and using ice afterwards. Nothing worked!!! I had huge huge bags under my eyes with an outdated product. I finally went in several weeks ago and a very nice nurse injected a dissolving product under both eyes to remove the product. Total cost over 300.00 for the Doctor's mistake So I'm out over 4,000 for nothing. I had to walk around for months with huge bags, then had to pay more to dissolve the product and I'm very angry. I have no recourse apparently as this is a cosmetic process I agreed to. I had faith and wanted to look better. I ended up broke, with a angry husband and then had to pay to rectify the doctor's error. I warn others not to go there... doctor does not care just in it for money.. read more

Well, called today to inquire about a consult appointment. I explained my situation, at which time the telephone receptionist rudely and condescendingly said, " I have no idea who I am talking to or what you are saying". When I asked about eyelid surgery and medicare coverage she kept on with her nasty attitude informing me the doctor does not accept medicare. I cannot believe I was treated so disrespectfully for merely asking about potential medical expertise. If I had more time I would personally call Dr. Gray and complain and ask how he can continue to have such rude and unprofessional staff. I did read some reviews too. I followed Feh here from the California Skin Institute because she's the best! My body is really sensitive, and Feh has always listened to me and worked with me to find the best products and methods so I don't get a lot of swelling/bruising. Her work is perfect and subtle - no one has the slightest clue that I have fillers. Feh fixed my tear troughs and I finally look like I'm getting a good night's sleep. I also get botox from her and she does a great job. I don't look completely frozen, but all my forehead creases just disappeared. Magic! It took me a while to write this review as I do not normally write bad reviews on anyone. It has been a few months now and the experience still weighs on me so here it is. I had been going to Dr. Gray for over 6 years. During this time a few things happened that I felt were not right but I let them go. The current incident should never happen to a customer, new or repeat. I was in the office for a facial with Janice (love her) and had a conversation with the manager about a new machine that is supposed to help with body toning. She told me that it would help the arm, knee, thigh, butt, and stomach areas. I was elated as my knees, thighs, and butt needed immediate attention. She gave me a price for the whole package and told me that they were offering a trial session for I wanna say $100 or $200. It has been a few months now so I do not remember the exact dollar amount. I knew I wanted the package so I just paid in full. When I came in for my first session I learned that the manager had been in a bad car accident (very sad) and was not going to be in for a while and also that the knee area could not be treated as previously advised. I was okay with this and got a session for the abs, thighs, and butt area. I came back for another treatment and also had an appointment with Dr. Gray. After my treatment with Dr. Gray, I was told by Tammie (she does the contour treatments) that per Dr. Gray, I could not have the toning treatments agreed upon for the previous rate agreed upon. The price had doubled. I expressed that this was not right and asked to speak with Dr. Gray. She said he was too busy at the time but I happened to catch him between patients. I advised him of what I had been promised and he said he would not abide by the agreement I had in place with the manager. To make a long story short he called me a penny pincher and spoke to me in a very demeaning way. I am not a sensitive person and this man had me in tears. The waiting room had people waiting to be seen and one lady actually left. I could not believe what was happening and what I was hearing. He did not have the decency to call me in his office or anything. He spoke to me like garbage. My feelings were hurt and I was extremely disappointed. I have spent a lot of money in that office and for him to call me a penny pincher was insulting. The point was that his manager, who was very sweet and kind by the way, offered me a service for a certain price that I expected. There is no harm on my end for that. I was crying and he continued to walk up and down the hallway making snide remarks with clients in the office. I will never forget this and felt it worthy of a yelp review. The quality of the actual services I got for my skin were wonderful, and I loved my nurse Therese. However, this review is specifically for the front desk staff, Tammy and Diane, who are the most condescending and entitled receptionists I have ever met. Last summer, when businesses started reopening from the pandemic closures, I tried calling in to see if I could get an appointment. But every single time I called, Tammy would say "I don't know honey, you're going to have to ask Gavin (Governor Newsom) when we can do that". After a few tries, I politely asked what the threshold was for opening, such as if it was when salons opened, and she said "what are you talking about honey, we ARE open, we're a medical office". I later found out that the State had restricted businesses from doing the micropen procedure specifically, but instead of just being straight and telling me that, Tammy kept telling me to "go ask Gavin, honey". Diane also had the same condescending attitude every time I called or came in. I asked her once to quote me a price for something and she immediately spat out a number. But when I called the next day to make an appointment and asked to confirm if the price from yesterday, she said "oh no honey, I never said that. I need to ask the person who does it. I have no idea". If Diane wasn't familiar with the pricing, she could have simply said she wasn't sure, instead of pulling something out of the air and then claiming she never said that. Unfortunately, I already purchased a full service package from them, so I had to keep going back. But each time was more frustrating than the last, and I was so glad to be done with my final treatment. So overall, the dermatology services are great, and it's worth going as long as you don't mind getting shat on every time you try to make an appointment or ask a question. read more

Wow! Stopped in on a whim Saturday afternoon and was warmly greeted by everyone that was present. They were able to schedule an appointment for me later that week for a consult for an under eye fuller procedure. They reminded me via email and a nice phone call to see if I could come in earlier mid week to meet with Feh Azima. Feh's consult prior to the procedure was absolutely amazing. She's informative, engaging and knowledgeable. I completed the procedure same day and was in and out within an hour with incredible results! Because I had a bad experience and had nothing positive or constructive to offer I chose not to write an unfavorable review but, after an encounter I had today, I now think it's important to share my experience. I visited twice. The first for Botox, which I was satisfied with. The receptionist was friendly and the office appeared professional. I looked through albums of befores and afters while waiting for my appointment. On my second visit I inquired about a solution for my marionette lines. The doctor suggested Restalyn. He said the results would be immediate and last 18-24 months. He also noted it's not reversible like other fillers. He said it would correct my concern. So I elected to move forward. The advertisement in the office also boasts about immediate results. After the treatment was finished I saw no results. The Dr massaged my cheeks and told me the results would come. Two weeks later I returned because I'd yet to see results. I was obviously disappointed after paying far too much and the doctor was unconcerned. He didn't look me in the eyes once while I complained. He massaged my cheeks again as if they could still be molded after weeks. He then backpeddled and spun it like it was my problem that it didn't work. I was thoroughly disgusted with his disconcern and complete failure to offer any explanation or further suggestions. I fully expected the problem to be corrected at his expense but quickly realized that mistakes must happen too often to fix out of pocket and that's why he didn't bother to talk to me either way. This happened nearly two years ago and I'm still stuck with chipmunk pouches where he screwed up. I wish every day that I'll wake up and they will have finally faded away. The reason why I post now is that I went for a Botox refresh today and was in a room full of former patients and friends of patients sharing experiences of both botched work and bad bedside manner. I learned that had some prep work been done (filler near the temples and cheek areas), the results I wanted could have been achieved but simply injecting filler at the marionette lines was never going to fix anything. Shouldn't anyone offering these procedures know this? I wish I had met these people earlier and that more people, like me, won't hold back from honest reviews, however unfavorable, so that another person doesn't see a 3 1/2 star rating and think it's still okay to make an appointment. read more

I've been going to MD Spa for many years now and understand some of the reviews I've seen on Yelp. I encourage you to make an appointment with Feh (pronounced Fay). She does my botox (every 4 months) and filler (once a year if needed). She has a light hand- would rather do less now and add more later, than over-do now. Great results and a happy customer is her goal. She has a special talent for filler - which I have had mixed results in my past. She put my fears to rest by giving me great results.
