She grabbed the one on the shelf which was exactly her size. At the time a male sales approached us and he said "can I get you any size?" I said to him, she's already trying on this one from the shelf. He replied "Please don't try it on if it's not her size, she might stretch out the shoe." I checked the sandal and told him "This is her size." Then he stayed quiet. My mom told told me there's a sign outside says 25% discount. I asked him and he said "It's only that particular band (I think it's called Earthlink) and they are all mixed in the shelves." When he told me this, he said it in a tone that's really disrespectful. Like talking to a kid. I spoke in Mandarin to my mom and told her this guy is very rude. Even though she liked the shoes, we do not need to buy them here. Overall, this place does have good quality or lets just say expensive shoes. However, the service was really bad and whoever that salesperson is needs to work on his attitude towards customers.

I realize that this is my fault for buying walking shoes that were obviously uncomfortable but to my defense I had only the stores 20 X 10 ft space to walk around and make a good determination in. Anyways, moral of the story is that I tried to return them the next day (with receipt to the same salespeople) and they didn't take the uncomfortable brand new shoes back. It sucked because i bought them for europe and then I was sent away from the store (that I had spent $500 at the previous day) with shoe inserts and a "sorry, we don't do returns if you wore them at all." It was the same salespeople from the previous day and they literally didn't care at all that I had large blisters.. BUT when I was spending $$$ they could have been my best friends... Oh sales people... I just think people should know this BEFORE buying shoes from this store. Their shoes are perfectly fine but their policy is plain rude. If I spend a ton of money there, they can afford to take the loss on one $70 pair of walking shoes even if that can't happen with every customer return (it's a small store). Anyways, if you find something here, chances are it will be online AND at nordstom for the same price and you can actually return them if they're uncomfortable.

There was some confusion amongst them regarding whether carbon toes were truly non-composite toes but all of that got cleared up by the guy at the register. He saved my feet from being chemically dissolved since I'll be handling volatile raw materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing! Yay! I get to keep my skin on my feet! Those are the secrets behind the Shiekh Shoes shimmer at this location. Shiekh carries some of what I would consider rare colorways, at reasonable prices. Almost equally as important, they always seem to have sales going on, meaning the already reasonably priced items are even more deeply discounted. You already know I love a good discount, but if you didn't know, I also have a penchant for fly kicks, ya feel me? My one concern here, and perhaps it's due to buying discounted product with limited stock, is damaged goods. Again, I like fly kicks, so I will give them a solid look-over before purchasing. I've often noticed scratches, blemishes, and creases on their products. To be fair though, I very often find this to be the case with a number of shoe retailers, so it's not really a Shiekh problem. I'm just saying look before you buy, and don't be afraid to swap shoes from different boxes to get two "good" shoes. This is a practice I always use when buying shoes. It can be an annoyance to the salesperson though, so just be nice. As I was doing my best to get two "good" shoes, Elsa was extremely patient with me and my selection process. Even though they had to go back and forth into the stock room to search for additional pairs, they were super accommodating. Elsa was professional, engaging, and very understanding (again, my selection process is a thing). I greatly appreciate the friendly and efficient service they provided. Also, since the pair of shoes I had ordered online were now actually cheaper in-store, they were able to refund my purchase so I could repurchase them at the lower price. Heck Yeah!
