I love this place!!!!! Robertitos has been my mexican food go-to for years. No matter what time I'm craving some dank rolled tacos or a juicy quesadilla, I can count on getting the real deal here at Robertito's 24 hr service. Their shop is easily accessible from Mission road, and its hardly ever overcrowded. The drive thru is probably a little slower than going inside would be, however you never have to wait more than 5-6 minutes for your food. The carne asada fries are above-standard and they are generous with crema, guacamole, etc. The drive-thru line gets busy, and they usually run a two-man crew, even at peak hours. I was never a fan of Mexican food before, especially Taco Bell. But went down to Mazatlan and was force to eat and started to fall for Mexican cuisine. I started at Robertitos down the road and ordered a Carnitas Burrito, I don't why but just wanted to try something different other than the very popular carne asada. First bite phenomenal, delicious the meat was fried(pork) with pico de gallo, home made hot sauce and all the great stuff. Excellent food after a night out drunk, cheap and incredible size portions and quick fast good food. I would give it a 5 star, but they change the portion size on the .50 pickled carrots. Last time I bought tacos from them, it tasted like someone had raw meat on their hands when they handled the taco shells. I used to like their food. The tacos used to have all shredded beef in them. Now, they put in some shredded beef and some ground beef. It's really not that appetizing to mix the two. The bean burritos sometimes have barely cooked beans in them. I've lived in Fallbrook for many years and I've gone to Royal Beauty knows late at night the clerk there is so rude that my roommate and I decided we're not going to go back to robertitos again.don't know why he has to be so rude we've tried many times going there at night and he's always rude the cheese isn't real cheese and the guacamole has milk mixed into it I would not recommend it to anyone read more

So If you have spent 24 hours in the little town of Fallbrook you know about Robertitos, or at least heard of it. Its not hard to know where it is seeing as this cliche little village truly has only one road in and one out, and of course, Robertitos is on it. For being the most deprived of all San Diego communities of decent food joints I have to give Robertitos a hand for feeding generations of high schoolers and the "never aging" stoners of Fallbrook, all day every day. I probably lived off their breakfast burritos my senior year and have been on more 3 am Carne asada nacho trips than i can count. (One of them resulting in a near fatal car crash off one of the many turns/cliffs of death around town) But not even a totalled civic can keep me from a California Burrito from my boys at Robertitos. My boyfriend grew up in Fallbrook and shortly five years ago moved to Idaho where we met. Every summer, we take a trip up to meet his grandparents and family members but we always have to make a tasty pit-stop to this delicacy. I mean, we might as well worth going while we're in town! It's good but most of the time its salty or very spicy and there meat is not grilled it's just boiled and clearly taste different.

The first time I ate there, the food was great. I had carne asada tacos and I was very pleased with the meal. The second time, however, I ordered carnitas and it was terrible. For reference I ordered a carnitas burrito. It was without a doubt the worst burrito I've ever had. The tortilla was pretty good, and thats where the positives stopped. If you like mexican food, you won't like this. If you like carnitas, you won't like this. If your dining history consists mainly of eating burnt scraps from the floor of a basement cage you recently escaped from, you might choke it down. But I implore you to instead head next door to northgate gonzalez, buy some meat and tortillas, and have a go at making it yourself. You can't do worse.
