No se les vaya a acabar la carne.

Got an order of 4 rolled tacos. All of them barely had any meat. More greasy tortilla than anything.

Food is always delicious here and served in large portions. My daughter and her friends absolutely Love this place. Service is always great, professional and they are quick at the drive through just make sure you have cash or your gonna have to run to the ATM inside inside has a very mom and pops ambiance to it, so not fancy but probably has many options of meals that taste way better than those fancy places.

This establishment was very fine in many ways. One of these ways is with the excellent and cheery service! The server is very helpful and caring. Another amazing factor is the cleanliness of the inside. The inside of the restaurant gives a happy and Mexican authentic feel with perfect seating. Finally, the food. I don't even know where to get started. The value is amazing with humongous portions and amazing flavor. This restaurant is the best Mexican in fallbrook!

Burritos were the most awful I've had in 25 years from this place. Hardly any meat, cold, uncooked tortilla and tasteless!

9/30/19 I'm sorry to have to write this review of one of my most favorite spots for a Carne Asada Burrito. Our Grandson's Travel baseball game took us to Fallbrook yesterday. He had a 1:00 and 3:00 game. My husband and I purposely came without snacks as we wanted to save our appetites for Robertitos. We have been customers of this hole in the wall Mexican restaurant since 1994!!! I have never been disappointed until yesterday. I walked in and was greeted promptly. Friendly young man and very efficient. We placed our order and I asked for their restroom. He pointed me the direction of between the counter and next to the cooking area. Since we were at the ball-field all day I needed the restroom. I had to. I was so disgusted with the few steps I took toward the restroom as the floors were filthy. I cannot believe this place gets a grade high enough to keep their doors open!!! It was filthy!!! I took photos as evidence but really recommend the health department come and help these guys clean up their store before somebody gets sick. When I returned to pick up our food, I couldn't and didn't eat the burrito I had ordered. Well, I tried to eat and the burrito was so doughy, and cold and tasteless.... the meat was cold, and there really wasn't anything good about it. Honestly I do not think I could ever step foot into this place again. I am not here to bash or shame this company as I've been a customer for close to 25 years, but somethings got to be done. It's just dirty!!! Kitchen area, restrooms, dining area, etc. I hate to think how that food is mishandled. How do these people get any kind of passing grade from the health Dept? My review is now 1 Star and it shouldn't even get that. I was here on a Sunday evening approx 5:30 pm 9/29/19

It was packed, and we waited about 10-15 minutes before getting the first available table outside. We started with chips and salsa, then shared a carne asada quesadilla. The chips were crisp, warm, and lightly salted, and the salsa had a bright, fresh kick with just the right amount of tang. I ordered a beef chimichanga with rice, and it was perfectly fried, golden, and satisfyingly crunchy on the outside, with a rich, savory filling inside. The portion was so generous that I had to take half of it home. The fried ice cream was a wonderful way to end the evening, with a cool, creamy center, a cinnamon-sweet flavor, and a satisfying crunchy exterior. Our wonderful waitress recommended it, and I'm so glad she did. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the area.

My parents loved their food and I was just glad I don't have to cook or clean. After looking at the pictures I took (and posted), I realized the plates look so similar which I found humorous. We order enchiladas, tacos, salad and a chili relleno. The chips and salsa were my favorite part while my family enjoyed their food. Service was good and fast. We arrived just as they opened (11am) and we ordered and our food came out pretty quickly and the food was super fresh. The rice and beans were good but don't really need all the extra cheese on it, I'd order again but ask for no extra cheese on top (personal preference). While my parents liked it that way, myself and my kids just took it off. Taste overall was good. I'm definitely going back to try other items on the menu and not driving so I can order an adult beverage.

Chips and salsa were brought out right away as well as water. The chips, although greasy, were very crispy and tasty. The three flavors of salsa were a nice touch. Then we waited... Someone eventually came to take out order...didn't introduce herself, didn't ask if we had any questions about the menu/Taco Tuesday...just, "what can I get you"... We ordered the queso fundido app to start and then I ordered the fried fish taco, the shrimp taco and a side of refried beans along with a regular margarita. After taking my order, she started to walk away and then realized she hadn't taken the Hubs order...I mean, yes the restaurant was busy but wtf? The Hubs ordered the California burrito and all that was said was, "It comes with fries"... Then we waited... I noticed a lot of the patrons were regulars...having their orders taken right away, their drinks prepared right away and receiving exceptional service...while we waited. Finally, I received my margarita and then our fundido came out. The margarita was just that...a boring margarita that tasted more like a $5 happy hour margarita than the $10 margarita it was. The fundido was a huge bowl of bubbling cheese with balls of chorizo at the bottom, it was delicious...after we asked for more chips to eat it with (other restaurants usually serve tortillas with it, but, okay...) Then we waited.... My shrimp taco and side of beans arrived as did the Hubs burrito. The burrito was just a plain/dry burrito. I'm not sure why this wasn't mentioned with he ordered it and why adding toppings and/or sides was not suggested...but, okay... My shrimp taco and beans were very tasty... But wait, you exclaim...didn't you also order a fish taco? Why yes, yes I did!!! But, since NO ONE ever came to ask how or meal was or if we needed anything, it was impossible to let them know they forgot my taco. When the server saw that we were finished eating, she was quick to get out check...only then was I able to notify her of the missing taco by telling her to make sure it's not listed on check. At no point did she offer an apology, she just stated that we were not charged for it. The restaurant was busy, but not busy enough for the service to have been as bad as it was...also, there were plenty of servers in the restaurant as well as a couple of bussers and a bartender. Food: 8/10 (only because of the dry ass burrito) Drinks: 5/10 Service: 2/10 (only because of the good service we initially received)

I don't know how they make it and they won't tell me but they WILL sell it to you. I wish they had birria but birria isn't easy to find in many Mexican restaurants. The beans are good but a little bland. I had the Adobada taco which was absolutely out of this world. The red Chile spices were spot on. My lunch date had beef flautas which were delicious. I gave 4 stars simply because the green sauce is so amazing and you absolutely cannot find it anywhere else. We sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant. All the patrons at lunch were outside on the patio. The bathrooms are extremely clean although you do have to go outside the building around the back to use the restroom.
