We starved when we stayed in Crestone as the only place not shut down either permanently or on Sunday was the organic food store. Cheese and crackers didn't cut it! Their food was amazing and my personal Favorite that I tried was the patty melt.OMG it will fill you up but it is worth it. The food was awesome, excellent, fast service and great food. I had the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict. It was the best I have had. Great hollandaise with green chili. The eggs were done to perfection. Good hash browns. While there one of our party locked the car keys in the trunk of a convertible. Locksmith, 2, and car dealer could not help. We were 2 hrs from home and the extra set of car keys. I went back in to order something else, try the blueberry/lemon muffins with Lemon curd filling, oh my. I told Preston, the young woman behind the counter what we were dealing with , ie: keys, she pulled up on youtube they type of car/model, and how to get into the trunk, Mr. Ford, did not have a trunk latch in the glove box or any place else. She found the correct video and voila we were able to open the trunk and resume our trip. She was exceptional, However the woman manager was some what surly , not very nice and would not speak to us when we thanked Preston and the manager told Preston to get back to work !!!!! Thank you Preston, I cant tell you how much we appreciated your help, technical and support. This place is great! Food, drinks (we had mimosas), service, atmosphere it was all amazing! They have vegan and gluten free options. There's a cute little walkway down to the stream that flows by the outdoor seating area. A plus, is that there is a place to eat outside with your pets! We will definitely be back. read more

Tried Robin's for lunch today for first time. We were not disappointed with the fresh made salads and quality ingredients. We each tried different choices so we could compare. All were delicious. They serve breakfast all day and include healthy choices like avocado toast. They offer fresh bakery items from the kitchen to take with you as well. We'll be returning with the guys next time. read more

We stopped here for breakfast and we're so happy we did! We ordered hot chocolates, mocha late w vanilla, kids meals (French toast and pancakes), eggs your way, grapefruit brule, and a short stack of pancakes. EVERYTHING was delicious! We got there just in time bc the line to order at the counter was continuously long and a bit slow but it was worth it! Plenty of seating inside and out. Wait staff came by regularly to bring us things and check in on us. The lunch menu looked fabulous and if we had been in town during lunchtime, we for sure would have come back! Good food, nice space. A la Carte prices are absurd, so better order something off their normal menu and don't expect substitutions. The front of house is young and friendly, but seemingly entirely untrained in bridging the gap between counter service and full service (which they are ostensibly doing). I'm doubtful the owners even know how to run a proper front of house, or understand what they are doing wrong. Very busy day and they seem to be showing stress at the seams. Kitchen cannot keep up, steps of service slipping left and right, and I had to pay twice what I should have. I'd come back on a slow day with modified expectations. read more

Went there because my Mother in Law had a gift card. I brought my dog to the back deck the way the signs pointed me, sat there for ten minutes before someone came and told me I had to order at the counter. I went around and ordered, had to pay, give a tip before I went back and sat down. The burger was ok, the back deck was nice, but the service could have been better. I won't be back. Terrible practice of making customers wait in line to order food vs getting orders in and seating them. Told owner doesn't want to overwhelm kitchen. This is a recipe for customer frustration. Also, staff wearing "chin guard" clear plastic "masks" that do not cover noses. I've been to restaurants throughout Colorado and have not experienced this sort of wait nor poor excuse for masks. Customers not wearing masks while in line and walking around restaurant (and no one was asking them to), no social distancing in line, tables were not spaced apart. If you are concerned about the pandemic, do not go here! You have to stand in line to order and the line moves very slow. I feel like it would be a better experience if there were full table service, and less exposure to other people. As a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, they are NOT enforcing mask wearing in the restaurant while waiting to order, and yes it's quite a long wait. The wait was long, the food was fine, and service was good, hence the 2nd star. I can tolerate waiting, but I won't put up with carelessness in regards to protecting the health of staff and customers. If you want to go to an establishment that doesn't enforce mask wearing then by all means go. If you are worried about protecting yourself from potential exposures then avoid this place like, well COVID. read more

Go for the Eggs Benedict! I've been there twice. I've had the Eggs Benedict avo/tomato and the chicken fried steak. I DO like the Eggs Benedict. I wasn't so thrilled with the chicken fried steak. Too greasy for me. I also tasted the cinnamon muffin. It's very nice, very much cake, like pound cake. Overall, Robin's quite pricey. I love the back patio. Lovely trees. The wait staff are all extremely cordial. Very nice. Today they were playing 80's in the background in the front room. It made conversation difficult. Like many restaurants these days, it's all hard surfaces and very loud inside. I'll go again, I'm sure, but I definitely prefer the patio. read more

We love Robins! It is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. The first time I had a reuben which was delicious. The second time I had perfectly made eggs benedict. The food came out fast both times, I didn't even have time to drink my mimosa (which was also very good). My husband and I went to Robins for lunch and found the staff at the order counter to be very friendly. We sat outside which was really a very nice area & relaxing. My husband got the Reuben, which was good. I opted for the Signature Salad with Salmon (+6). The salad was a huge disappointment! The tomato wedges were not ripe, but plentiful. The Salmon was hardly existent on the salad - I was expecting a small piece of Salmon on top, what it came with was flaked up Salmon sprinkled across the top - and definitely not a lot of it. I will try again - but maybe next time opt away from the lunch items. read more

Over a year after we got poor food and the Owner asked us to come back, we did. MISTAKE. I ordered the Patty Melt with cole slaw and ice tea. My wife ordered the chicken salad sandwich and ice tea. The Patty Melt came out loaded with a ton of greasy onions and the 1000 island dressing on the side. It showed up with fries instead of the cole slaw that was requested. The 1000 dressing was a dark color, not tart/sweet and no pickles in it. The dressing was either very old or just plain bad. My wife took a sip of her "ice tea" and with a puzzled look on her face asked "what is this". I smelled mine and it was skanky and tasted like old pond water. We decided to drink the table water which was room temp. I requested a cup of ice and after my second request 5 minutes later, I got my ice. My wife's chicken salad sandwich was suppose to have apples and walnuts in it. She peeled it open to discover that it was just chicken and mayo. Looking around while we ate we noticed that the vast majority of patrons were tourist. For the most part they were leaving a third to half their meal on the table when they left. To add injury to insult, I looked at the bill when we got out to the car. There was a "Non-Cash Fee" added to the bill. I am sure it is hidden somewhere, but you want to put a sign in 20 point font on the credit card machine that in addition to poor quality food and poor service there is an additional fee. After posting my last negative review the Owner requested that we come back and give them another try. At $40 per bad experience.... I do not think so. Great place for tourist that do not mind overpriced food. Not a locals hangout. read more

Super cute patio was the only thing that was nice about this place. Tables were dirty and took 10 mins to have someone come and clean the dishes off in order for us to sit down. You must go inside to the front counter to order with an automatic tip before you can see how the service is. The food was cold when brought out to us. The waitress forget to come by to ask you how you are and how your food is or to bring you what you asked for as in extra plates or silverware. I have ordered $60-100 of food to go here most Sundays since they opened. I always tip well. This morning I was missing part of my order, so I called and asked for a credit because I didn't want to drive back there for one item. They said no! They said they were not going to offer me any kind of credit and I could only come and get the item. I asked to speak to the owner. The manager said the restaurant was very busy and they would call me back. The restaurant was not busy at all when I picked up my food. I asked if she could direct me to a voicemail to leave the owner a message. She hung up on me!! I called back to ask for my tip to he removed from my credit card slip. She hung up! I drove back there to have my tip removed and hopefully let the owner know of this employee's behavior. I walked in and they were not busy. The owner started yelling at me in front of all of her customers! I couldn't believe the level of terrible customer service... I told her to remove the tip from my slip. She did, and I left. I will NEVER order anything here again. I have also seen the employee who hung up on me not wearing a mask multiple times in front of the owner. read more
