Love this place! Their "sandos" are fresh and tasty and their Matcha is really good. The only downside is that there's no parking.

Friend had mentioned that a new coffee spot had opened, so we decided to give it a go. We went around 1:35pm on a Saturday, and there was a small crowd outside (5-10 people). So, we opted to order online instead since we saw that that was an option. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for our drinks -- not sure if it took that long or if we waited in the wrong place, but when we went to the counter to check on our orders, we ended up getting our drinks within a minute or two. I got their robu signature with 25% sweetness and less ice. Coffee is strong, so if you're caffeine sensitive, you might want to factor that in. Even at 25% sweetness (50% is the default I think?), with the foam, it was still quite sweet. I liked the latte overall though, especially with the coffee jelly! Drink was $6.95 ($7.58 after tax). They have maybe four seats inside, so it's more of a pickup spot than a sit down one -- however, since Murphy is still blocked off, you can at least walk over there if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. read more

I stopped by recently before my Caltrain, and struggled a bit to find the location. It's buried in the back of a restaurant, bordering a pretty rundown parking lot, but sounds like they're moving to a more permanent space which is great! I got the signature latte, and thought it was decent. You can ask for less sugar, which I did, and the sweetness was perfect. The espresso shot was really bitter, and if not for the other parts of the latte, would have definitely overwhelmed. Definitely don't recommend getting a pure coffee drink here, as I wouldn't have high hopes. The coffee jelly added a yummy bite, and the overall drink was still solid. Great drinks, great sandos, and great service! My friend and I had the Yuzu matcha fizz and coconut ube latte, and they were both so delicious. My only warning is that the Vietnamese coffee is strong, so definitely drink it earlier in the day if you are sensitive to caffeine. As far as flavors go, you will not be disappointed. You are able to customize the sweetness level as well. We tried three of their sandos (chicken salad, egg salad, and strawberry) and really enjoyed all of them. They also offer other pastries as well. Lastly, service was great. Staff was very happy to offer drink suggestions. It is clean indoors, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating here. I've been on the search for a einspanner in the bay & I think I've found the spot. After searching all over Yelp, I found a spot in the South Bay which serves einspanner amongst other drinks. Upon arriving, I did notice that pop-up was set up in another tea bar and when I asked the cashier regarding their new location, she stated that their new location will be 10 mins away from there and will have outdoor seating which is great for those that come w/ their pupperoo. The cashier was super friendly and was patient w/ us as we tried to decide what drinks we wanted as everything sounded so good :) We finally decided & ordered their ube coconut coffee, matcha einspanner latte and their signature coffee. NO REGRETS. *Ube Coconut Coffee: 10/10, my bf loved his drink. Made w/ such a smooth coffee that has a deep coffee flavor mixed in with coconut and topped with ube foam. Coffee was not acidic or burnt, just perfect. * Matcha Einspanner Latte: creamy ceremonial matcha, YES YES. You can actually taste the matcha, the milk was creamy and blended so well together. 10/10. * Signature Coffee: my sister got this and also another good choice to get if you can't decide heh. Their roast is so deep and smooth and combined w/ the milk they serve-chefs kiss. For this drink, they also add in coffee jelly which has a great texture to it. 10/10. New favorite coffee place! If yall know me, you know that I don't like acidic coffee. Unfortunately most of the Bay Area coffeeshops prefer light roasts, so I tend to go to Asian cafes as I find their coffee to be more well balanced, not acidic nor burnt. If you enjoy this type of coffee, you're going to love Robu! Even if you like Western style roasts and coffee, you'll enjoy this place too- hubby said this is one of the best coffee in the Bay, and he's a true coffee affectionado. We tried 3 drinks: 1) Coconut ube coffee: This was an extremely rich and creamy drink. I loved the ube and coconut flavors but found it too sweet at their recommended 50% sugar. Next time I'll get it less sweet. 2) Oat milk shakerato with coffee jelly: this was so delicious!! It was super refreshing and light and just the right amount of sweetness (aka, not too sweet) at the recommended 50% sugar. I will for sure get this again, it's the perfect coffee drink for a hot summer's day as some lattes taste too cloying. Nope, not this one. So perfectly balanced, light, and refreshing. 3) Vienna Einspanner latte: this was so delicious as well, also not too sweet at 50%. This drink had more of a coffee taste to it and reminded me of the Einspanner lattes in Korea. Hubby loved this drink and finished it in minutes. All in all, I'm super impressed with this little pop up. They did say they're planning to move to a new location so be sure to follow their IG page to keep up with the news! I came to try out the Cherry Blossom Latte on their menu and didn't know it was a seasonal drink. I chose regular sweetness for my drink, however, you do have the option to regular or 50% sweetness if you would like. Even though at first I thought it was going to be sweet, it was evenly balanced out with the coffee and the cherry blossom foam. It wasn't overly sweet and was perfect, also there's the crystal boba in there as well! Next time, I definitely want to try out the Coconut Ube Coffee. Inside the store, it's fairly small with two small tables. So if you're looking for a place to grab a quick coffee fix with a variety of choices, I'd recommend coming here! read more

I got the cherry blossom latte and I really liked it! Keep in mind, their regular sweetness is 50%. At first, I was scared that the coffee would be too strong but it's actually at the perfect amount - not too sweet and not too strong. The cherry blossom cold foam was good and had a hint of a floral taste. As for the black sesame latte, it was good too even though the cold foam only had a slight taste of black sesame. The vienna einspanner matcha latte has to be one of my favorite matcha lattes ever. I would definitely come back for it! I had to try Robu for the second time make the highly-rated recommendation. The first time, I ordered the Classic Salted Cream Viet Coffee. I enjoyed the delicious, creamy, salted cream that was paired with the viet-style brewed coffee. I opted in for less sweet, as I figured the salted cream would contribute to the overall sweetness of the drink. Pleasantly, this was a solid drink, though I must say it was highly caffeinated. For the second time, I ordered the Marble Coffee (less sweet) and I added coconut cream top. The cream top definitely elevated the classic Marble Coffee (half condensed milk, half whole milk). I highly recommend this combo. Not to mention, I ordered multiple drinks from Robu through Doordash. This is a review for the rose latte. It's pretty good. The coffee is strong so that the whole drink doesn't just taste like milk. The default sweetness is 50%, but I asked for 25% and it was still very good since the rose foam that they put is sweet on its own. My friend got the banana matcha latte and they said it was good except the banana chunks were so big they couldn't get it up the straw. Had to wait a bit for one drink, 10+ mins. The vibes are good, music is at a good volume. When I went the TV on the wall was playing a cute video of animal crossing characters drinking coffee.
