I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes,barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. The sit-down food is classic Brooklyn Italian comfort food, the portions are generous, and obviously you finish with the spumoni. This isn't precious food and it isn't trying to impress anybody. That's precisely the point. Brooklyn has changed about 9,625,247 times in my lifetime. L&B is still L&B. Five stars. Always.

I used to get pizza here and different types of pasta but we had a couple bad orders so my buddy and I stopped going for a while. When they're on point the food is excellent and affordable. However, when you start getting mediocre dishes multiple times, that's kind of a turn off. I'll probably give them another chance sometime soon since I work real close by. read more

Arguably the best grandma pie in NYC and Possibly America. Cheesy gooey saucy slices of heaven. This is the only pizza place I patronize regularly specifically for the grandma pizza.
