Solid pizza. No matter where I get pizza, I always order pepperoni and mushroom. It's my fave combo. I think this was the first place I ate at when I moved here. Since then, I never come here without a coupon. They send them in the mail every couple of weeks so it's convenient to be able to take $5 off a large. But something that is reasonably inexpensive (especially with a coupon), it's fairly decent. we ordered half canadian bacon and pineapple and half sausage and mushroom just to taste the range. they were both fairly decent--no complaints. Crust was thinner than most super doughy American pizzas, but not a blistered cracker crust like high end pizzerias. delivery process was actually very easy--got online and put the order in before they even opened. Their Pesto Veggie pizza is the bomb and I'd place it in the top quartile of pizzas I've had in the Bay Area. I wasn't as impressed by their pizza-by-the-slice but it's still pretty good and is a great deal - $5 gets you a 1-topping slice (which is actually two slices) and a soda and they're generous with toppings. Another two stars down because the person on the other end of the phone really seemed bothered by my taking time out of his day. I understand businesses get busy, I understand I am not the only person who needs assistance. That being said, I would like to at least be treated with some respect. We moved to Mill Valley roughly 6 months ago from the city and was having a hard time finding a good pizza spot, then we found Roccos! We have since ordered from Rocco's at least once a month and the service is always great! The pizza is delicious and the crust is perfect! I really wish Rocco's was better. Here's hope for improvement but honestly the food is not good. Delivery often takes 2 hours! The pizza is so bland I have paid way too much to add basil, garlic, extra cheese and guess what? The pizza is still bland. Order sauce on the side - bland. The salads are worse, the caesar is literally some romaine (not super fresh) and a few slices of parmesan. It feels like the least amount of effort goes into everything. The bar is low in Marin, people seem to settle for mediocre restaurants (plenty of good fancy places, but try to find someplace decent to feed your family) all over the place but Rocco's doesn't even meet the local average experience. read more

Rocco's pizza is good......But it is very very greasy, I put a napkin on the pizza and then I put on ten more the grease just kept on going. I was there just like last year (yes kind of late to write a review) anyways my friend got ice cream and just as she was going to bite into it she saw a staple in her ice cream! This place has the best crust. It is on the thin side. It is lighter and does not make me feel crappy the next day like when I eat a heavier crusted pizza. The ingredients were fresh lots of yummy garlic and the pesto is great. read more

Tried this place as round table did not deliver last night. I was surprise as this place was actually cheaper. Ordered Hawaiian pizza, spaghetti marinara, chicken tenders, ceasar salad and garlic bread. Order arrived 50 minutes later after being placed. Pizza is actually pretty good aside from a little lacking with the Canadian bacon and spaghetti was tasty as well. Chicken tenders seemed from bulk store bought frozen so you might want to skip. All in all, pretty decent meal for less than what others charge. read more

This has been my pizza "go to" since moving here 10 years ago. I especially appreciate how they cater to my vegan partner. I have kids and we end up eating a fair amount of pizza. I love Rocco's: you can order one small pizza or several different "1/2 and 1/2" pizzas, you have a 98% chance of it being 100% correct. They get it right, day in and day out, and year in and year out. This is the worst pizza restaurant in Marin with one of the best pizzas. Tonight ordered pizza, pasta and salads and they promised delivery in an hour; sounded reasonable to me. An hour and fifteen minute slater I called to inquire where it was. They said the driver had forgotten the salads and was headed back to Pick them up. Thirty minute later I called again and was greeted with the most uppity and arrogant attitude I've ever encountered. I asked again when we'd get our food and there was only confusion and mumbled responses. Three hours after the original order, when I had the temerity to ask where the order was they got nasty and said they would cancel the order. So, three hours invested in the venture and no food. We've used them for years but no more. They don't give a damn about customers. read more

I love Rocco's. So do my kids. The pizza is as close to New York pizza as I can find in Marin. I especially like the linguica , bacon and meatballs on mine. It's a great spot to catch a playoff game of any type. But remember, I slice is actually 2 plus cup of soda that you can refill. Coupons in val pal too... But I like slices. So pleased we gave Rocco's another chance. Their delivery is good, however dining in is great. They use really fresh ingredients and offer loads of toppings. If the kids aren't in the mood for pizza, we order them pasta, and it is delicious! The pasta is not a basic marinara. It is flavorful and has he right amount of garlic and spices. I could eat a plate of it myself. They also offer wine by the glass. Just Red or White. Nothing fancy, yet it hits the spot. Delivery order was canceled without telling me. After confirming the address online and by phone when the delivery driver could not find the address they canceled the order without informing me. I called after an hour of waiting and they said, "that order was cancelled, we couldn't find you." The man on the phone was rude and inconsiderate. I would not recommend frequenting their establishment. Even a courtesy call to inform me that the order was cancelled or offer for me to come pick up the pizza would have rectified the situation, but instead they lost a customer - and I will inform everyone else in the area not to do business with Rocco's either. read more

Great pizza! We got an extra large half Mill Valley Favorite and half Hawaiian. We also had an order of the garlic bread. It was enough for two adults and three kids. They are kid friendly with high chairs and had more that enough tables at 6pm on a Tuesday. We were passing through and were lucky to find the place. read more

Old school pizza joint...I needed a quick bite before rehearsal, which happened to be in the same complex. They offer pizza by the slice or whole. Ordered just a cheese slice to go since it was the quickest thing to order. You can get whatever toppings you want on the slice too, but it takes about 10 minutes to prepare. The slice was definitely New York style...big and super thin! Even though I'm a former Chicago girl, I can still appreciate the New York pie. They had RC soda on fountain too, which totally took me back to my childhood. Would definitely head back to Rocco's. I ordered two large pizzas that came out to be $60 and it arrived two hours later. The time for delivery says 75-85min. If it takes extremely long as is, then it should not be late another 40 MINUTES. The pizza was almost room temperature and cheese was hardened. If you cannot handle delivery, then you should not be taking orders. read more

There was an accident on the freeway so my family and I decided to stop here for dinner. We didn't want to go somewhere too crowded or too expensive. Plus, we were craving some salad and pasta. The place isn't too big. It is located in the same plaza as Whole Food and Starbucks and isn't too far from the freeway. We ordered a Caesar salad, Garden salad with chicken and a spaghetti with marinara with meatballs. The salads were a good size. It was a pretty good deal at $5.50 without chicken. They were pretty tasty. The pasta dish with meatball had good flavor too. If I was in the area and didn't want to spend too much money, I would definitely come back again. read more
