    It's literally perfect every time

Best pizza in Marin. Not much else to say. Pizza Hacker doesn't hold a dead candle to this place. Order online to see the full topping selection. Shrimp, clams... whatever you're into, they've got it, and they're going to bake it to perfection. You really can't ask for much more. They even deliver. Single-handedly saving Marin's shamefully limited culinary scene, one pizza at a time. Thanks for two years, Rocco's. Please never change a thing. Edit: I haven't tried anything but the pizza, but I'll add on that to me, this pizza is most reminiscent of the Italian, neopolitan style, as far as I can tell. It reminds me more of the many pizzas I had had during my months in Rome than the floppy novelties I had in the boroughs of NYC, or worse, most of the really over-powered but under-performing heavy / random wacko pizza you get around the Bay. Good undercarriage, perfect char, not much flop at all. Hard to find 10/10 food in any category in Marin, but Rocco's does it every time. Eat here.

This place is family oriented and the owners are kind wonderful people. We came in with our boys who were excited for pizza. We started with the kibe, a meaty, cheesy deep fried appetizer with a dipping sauce that made it perfect! Then a cheese pizza for the littles, they devoured it. We had a meat lovers which was very tasty and full of toppings. The linguine with spicy sausage was to die for and the bread served with it was buttery, cheesy and just right for the sauce. After all that they still wanted dessert, one of each cookie, snickerdoodle, m&m and a chocolate chocolate chip, then a red velvet and the creme de la creme the coconut bread was so so yummy. We don't live in the area, but this place will make us want to come back. They gave my grandson a tour of the kitchen and the owners were very sweet, you feel like family. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!!!

Delicious food with delightful service by Rosie and Luciano, the Brazilian owners. We love coming here for pizza (this time, for the Luciano's Special: chicken, pesto, heart of palm, corn, zucchini, and onions). We also enjoyed the Italian sausage sandwich, and perfectly cooked kibbeh with Boom Boom sauce. The little honey cake ("made with love") was a nice end-of-meal treat. We sat outside with our Morkie Poo, and enjoyed shade for my husband, and sun for me. Highly recommend for a fun lunch date!

The "slice" - which is actually two slices.

Got there around 3pm and was told that a table for two would be about a 30 minute wait, so it was not as bad as we thought it would be, considering that the whole parking lot (which was probably the only downside; it being made of gravel and without distinct parking designations making finding a spot incredible difficult and annoying) was full. The inside vibe was great, with tons of people drinking/eating and having a good time. When we got seated, we ended up ordering just a few oysters and a 3pc fish and chips. The oysters were pretty good and fresh, with a great vinaigrette on the side to pair with them. The fish and chips, however, were the obvious stars of the show. The fish were nice and golden, with a very crisp texture, and more importantly large and generous. The fries were nicely seasoned and plentiful. The fish was really tasty (you can choose the type of fish depending on what they have on hand, and some cost extra between $2-$10. We chose the standard option for the day: Rockfish), easily one of the better fish and chips I have had - just an incredibly simple, but well executed dish. While the tartar sauce was a good pairing, the real standout pairing was Hook Fish's own carrot habanero hot sauce with the tartar sauce and the oyster vinaigrette. I have never had something like a carrot based hot sauce, but it really works by contrasting the spiciness of the habanero with a slightly sweet carrot undertone. Strange, but it gave the classic fish and chips a unique twist that sets it apart from the competition. While eating we saw tons of different dishes fly out the kitchen as well, such as poke burritos, large portions of chips and salsa/guacamole, and fish tacos. After the experience we had that day, we will be forsure making another round back to Hook Fish to try some of their other options. Their fish and chips are a must.

Ambiance is 5 stars, fire pit, outdoor seating, great location. Good wine list. Menu is pasta, pizza, salads, and pasta. The pizzas are thin crust and "fancy". They feature things like feta cheese or carmalized onions. We all agreed that the crust was amazingggg. But it was so thin and floppy that ingredients just slid off. But here's a hot tip- the kid menu pizzas are totally full size pizzas, which the waiter failed to mention. So 1 cheese pizza could easily feed 2-3 little kids. We ordered one for each kid and went home with a TON of cheese pizza leftovers. The zucchini fries are tasty but served with an aoli that tasted like straight mayonnaise. Dinner for 4 , plus tax and tip came to $150. We're going with a solid 3 stars. An overall decent experience, but nothing to get too excited about.

I would say the dough/crust is not as crispy and I know some people enjoy their pizzas that way. Make sure to ask for it well done if that's the case! Nonetheless, everything was perfect. Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for (make sure to ask for it warmed up).

Because we were such a large group, we ordered a couple of vegetable platters and pizzas to share. This also allowed us to try several of the pizzas, which helped mitigate the angst of missing out because all of the varieties sounded delicious. We started off with the vegetable platter, which featured roasted vegetables and squash served over a bed of lentils and seasoned yogurt sauce with toasted pita on the side. I love almost any roasted vegetable, and the yogurt sauce made everything taste elevated; I could have easily finished off the vegetable platter on my own, but I restrained myself to save room for the pizza. My favorite pizza had to be the Calabrian chile and ricotta pizza, which stood out with its sweet, creamy ricotta and the slow burn from the chile oil that lingered long after the last bite. The other pizzas were solid, although they were your more typical pizza combos (cheese, mushroom, meat combo). We spotted buffalo milk gelato on the dessert menu, so we ordered a round of scoops to finish off our lunch. The buffalo milk resulted in a creamier, silkier texture than regular cow's milk gelato (I think?), and it was very tasty!

Watershed can be found in the Mill Valley Lumber Yard, which also has a few cool shops, a toy store, wine tasting room, ice cream spot, and more. We made a reservation ahead of time and so glad we did because they were booked up for this special weekend. With beautiful weather, this spot was alive with large parties. Also, the World Cup was on and patrons were enjoying watching the game(s) inside too. If we were to come back, I would def sit outside with a group on a nice day. Outside there was corn hole and lotsa tables to enjoy a casual meal and vibes. Our party ordered a round of margaritas, and menu standouts included the burger, fried chicken sandwich (the paprika aioli is stellar), the kale salad (topped with chickpeas, quinoa, walnuts, and more), grilled cheeses for the kiddos, and the "Burning Love" pizza. There's a little bit of something for everyone on the menu here, and everything was so fresh, comforting, and just elevated. The meat in the burger was something to highlight, and I loved the thick cut fries. I would try a pizza on the next trip like the "Swim Club" served with Calabrian chile honey, or the "Peach Pie" because why not, it's summer! Service was okay, but it was also such a busy time of a day that everyone was just doing the best they could. All in all, highly recommend if in the area and looking for a lovely time/afternoon.
