This was actually the first rock & brews that I ever visited, and I was immediately hooked from the food to the vibe! some of my favorite things to eat are the Asian chicken wings, the pizza has a crust with a good bite to it, and after my last visit, the Poké bowl! I really love Poké bowls for the fresh fish, the healthy aspect, but also that it has so many fun textures, colors, and flavors in it. The Poké bowl comes with a side of spicy mayo, and I didn't use a whole lot of it, but it did add a great flavor to the bowl. I paired it with a citrusy IPA (I don't remember the name of it because somebody else ordered the pitcher) and it was delicious. The service is always good whether I go with one other person or 8. The music is amazing, (I love quizzing the 20-something's to see if they know who the bands are when the videos come up). There are tons of things to look at (if you have younger kids, a lively game of I spy will keep them entertained long enough for the food to arrive and maybe even for you to eat). I don't understand why they don't actually play live music there except fine, I get it. The neighbors might protest at the noise levels. We will definitely be back and if they are an option at an airport or other destination, we often choose them first. read more

Was very good service with recommendations what beer they served. This time, I was returning back home from Santa Monica. I decided to stop at Rock,&Brew after long years. I've been booking my company sales dinner here as it is always requested! I've never been able to visit myself but finally had the opportunity. Both times I've gone, staff is friendly, around lunchtime it's a bit empty but I love that for a quick lunch. Food has always been amazing. First time I tried their poke nachos and omg it did not disappoint! With a side of 805 just yum! 2nd time I tried the French dip sandwich which was yum but I'm not a huge fan of horseradish sauce. I accidentally dipped my fry thinking it was ranch LOL! Boy was it strong lol Only thing was first time my waiter was quick and attentive but second time around, different waiter.. wasn't as quick as the first one. I got the chicken salad, nothing exciting, and I don't think $18 is worth the price of iceberg lettuce, dry chicken, and ok dressing. I had dined at Rock & Brews years ago when I worked in the area. Today while on business near LAX, my wife and I along with our small dog decided to have lunch there. I knew that the restaurant is basically a large patio so I assumed that we could take our dog inside. I knew dogs were welcome when I saw the jar of dog treats on the check in counter. We were seated promptly and greeted by the manager at our table where we ordered their Tuesday $5 margaritas and a couple of their smash burgers. Shortly thereafter, the manager came back and explained that she neglected to offer our dog something from their dog menu. Wow!!! Dogs really are welcome here. Apparently, because we ordered meals, our dog was entitled to a free meal from the doggie menu. We picked the hamburger patty on rice. Our burgers were excellent and the margaritas perfect. Lore, our waitress was extremely pleasant. She helped my wife post a photo to instagram to commemorate our visit. She also recommended the dessert which was very good. We had a great time there and our dog, Izzy, did as well. She especially enjoyed her own meal. It's a great place for food and drinks and to bring your dog. read more

Wednesday night Burger specials, Playoff Hickey & Dodger game on the Giant screen, what could go wrong! Food looked great, was prepared quickly and everything tasted great. Our server was friendly and did a great job! They have a wide spectrum of good... pizza, tacos, salad, BBQ, wings and tons of Beers on Tap. Also the giant Sourdough pretzel was great too! I loved my spicy, sweet and crunchy wings. So good they did not need the ranch dressing. The smash was super thin double with grilled onions, pickle and secret sauce. Mikey & Hayden devoured them with barely a word. Ron loved his ultimate Burger. Thick patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions & pickle with doubled up cheese and dressed with thousand island dressing. Great location, corner spot so parking is easy! It's big and lots of space, the bar is long with plenty of seating. 14 tvs while I was here it was the Dodgers, the Chargers, and music vids. It's a got a great vibe, the people working here are polite and attentive. The music is not loud which is perfect if you are carrying on a conversation. Ordered some beers and Nachos. Beers are cold and in frosted glasses, nice! The nachos are really flavorful. Had I not eaten someplace earlier I would've had a burger. The decor is RocknRoll (xcept Madonna) which is very cool. Came for a Dodgers game and, while it was on the largest screen, there was no audio. Despite sitting next to other patrons in jerseys who were clearly fans watching the same game, the vibe was off. Not quite what we were hoping for. Kids play area is for very very young kids. As is the kids menu. Kids in later years of elementary school wouldn't dig the play or the serving sizes. Most kids menus go to age 12 - this felt more like up to age 5? My boys poo-pooed the pizza as crackers pretending to be more. I tried it and know what they meant. It's visible in the picture too. The dough was dense and seemed pre-baked where sparse cheese was later melted atop. How hard is a pizza to bake from fresh? My burger was charred (also visible in picture) and overcooked. This is a very popular place for fun, food and drink. The menu is large with many choices and some daily specials. It is a large restaurant with lots of seating indoors and out. Parking is available behind the restaurant and on the street. The restrooms were clean enough and the bar is large. The chicken wings were very saucy and good. The menu is extensive and features a variety of pizzas, etc... but also includes a good selection of healthy options as well. This review is mainly about the Sunday Brunch AYCE buffet. I didn't see any reviews or info or pictures about it so I went to go check it out myself with a group of friends. I'm writing this review to help other people avoid it, because it was bad. I was there on Sunday from about 10:45 to 12:00 pm hanging out with some friends. They had football on the big screen the big screen, and I'm not into sports. The food served at the buffet for $25.00 dollars for adults and $15 for kids was just bad. The nachos were bad, the pork for the nachos was bad. The egg bites could be categorized as a war crime by the Geneva Convention. The breakfast burritos felt previously frozen, and were not really edible. I thought it was hard to mess up a breakfast burrito. We were there for a while, and pretty much the only breakfast burrito option available for the first hour was "chicken". A chicken breakfast burrito is offensive thing to type let alone serve. I was told there were chorizo burritos coming, and they did come out, about an hour later. They were not worth the wait, they were somehow just as bad as the chicken burritos. I'm a big fan of even mid breakfast burritos so this was my biggest letdown. The pancakes felt previously frozen. The waffles were a bright spot, but still probably previously frozen, and they didn't have syrup most of the time I was there. The pork sliders were also just not good. Here is what was not so bad. They have what I think is there normal cheese and pepperoni pizza, which isn't bad but again I wouldn't call it amazing, and the pepperoni spent a lot of time being out. Fries and Tater tots also seemed to be what they serve in the regular restaurant and were good, but get them quick before the cool down though. We stayed long enough to see they had a hot dog station for lunch setup, but I didn't check that out in details but the buns seemed on the cheap end. I'd bet the tacos were just going to be the same nacho meat turned into tacos. I can see this working for someone. It's not like $25 is crazy expensive these days, but I didn't feel like I got that much value out of it. If you just wanted to hang out and watch the football game, I could see this being something you would like if you aren't really there for the food. If you are there for food, skip the buffet and just get something off the menu. One of my friends did that as he arrived late and we all warned him that would be the better move. ...Maybe let the kids eat off the buffet my son seemed to be fine with it. If I was writing a review for the regular restaurant menus experience, I would give it 3 stars. I've been here a lot, it's loud and rock and sports vibes aren't to my taste. The food is decent, but expensive. I could see why some people would like it more than others, espicaly if you like the loud rock and sports vibe. And if you have kids they do LOVE the kid jungle Jim. Service is fine to good. So this review gets a 2. I could have saved myself by saying I was going to scope out the buffet before committing. So I'm splitting the difference of the 1 star for the buffet, and the 3 stars for the it's normal setup. I will say the burgers are pretty good and cheap on Wednesdays right now, I'd give that experience a 4 star review. So you might still see me here on Wednesday afternoons. read more

The food and the service while sitting up at the bar were nothing less than spectacular. Wasn't sure what to get so the bartender (lady) helped me navigate the menu and I ended up getting a burger , they came out relatively fast and I wasn't waiting too long . I wasn't bugged while eating my food the bartender (lady) casually came and checked on me once or twice throughout my meal . The environment is very different than what I'm used to but it's a good kind of change I wish more places were like this . If I'm ever back in El Segundo I will definitely be going back ! read more

Great location! If this spot isn't your vibe, there's another one just around the corner. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try. The music was excellent--just as you'd expect from the name. We checked in at the host stand and were seated right away. It is mostly outside with overhead covering and they had standing heaters and heaters installed in the ceiling which helped since we went in the evening when it was getting chilly. Would be ideal to bring your pup. It was a busy Saturday afternoon which may explain why our orders were getting mixed up with other tables or it's due to the waitress basing our groups of 6's order on memory rather than writing it down. Even with some of the beer mix-ups, our group enjoyed their drinks. I enjoyed a spicy watermelon margarita. We also ordered some cheeseburger egg rolls, crisy calamari, and garlic fries to share. The food was a perfect pairing with our drinks, savory and salty! The only gripe is that we were told the calamari would take a little longer (20 min.). We were fine with that, but it was over a 40 min. wait and the servers seemed to avoid us after we inquired about it, leaving us thirsty since our glasses emptied and no one came around til the calamari was delivered. I'm am giving it 2 stars because I was highly disappointed in the food. The fries need seasoning or at least some salt, the demon chicken sandwich was dry, the wings need more flavor, the egg rolls are missing some flavor as well, the pasta was dry, and the salmon was plain. I was so embarrassed with the people I invited because no one finished their food. I love this place. I've always wanted to go because whenever I watch an interview of Gene Simmons or hear the KISS song Rock and Roll All Night I smile. As to the place, I love the set up. It's basically an outdoor indoor setting with lots of heaters so the temperature is perfect and plenty of fresh air. They play a variety of classic rock which is cool. I suggest sitting away from the "kid zone", area near the restrooms if screaming kids irritates you. The best part of this place is the . Lots of beer on tap and a great variety of styles. I like making a flight and taste four different . The burgers are superb. The strawberry salad is great and if you add piece of blackened salmon you will thank me. It's huge juicy piece of fish. The pizza has a weird dough/crust but it's still good. I wish they added a wood burning pizza oven. If they did that I'd be here every week. Try the pretzel, it is huge! Service was friendly and the food was better than most sports bars in the area. The portions are VERY generous. Between the nachos and wings, easily could have fed four people but there was just two of us and we were stuffed with plenty of leftovers. Servers were attentive and always right there when another round of beers was needed. Two weeks later, I am still thinking about how delicious the wings were. If anything...get wings!!
