This was a good place with flavorful food and good service at a fair price. The atmosphere was uplifting and energetic but not overbearing. So sad that it did not survive.

Located directly across for Daytona International Speedway this restaurant offers a wide variety of items that should satisfy all patrons. I can't say much for the decor, pretty basic bar atmosphere with several TVs throughout, it appears as though they have a rooftop bar, I am unsure of the operating hours for that though. The food was decent, I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, it was hot and moist but did have yellow cheese, I prefer white cheeses on my Philly such as provolone or Swiss, but that is just a personal preference. Our server Gaia was friendly enough but could have improved on keeping the drinks filled, other than that she was great.

Came in around noon for lunch on father's day to a fairly empty restaurant. We let the bartender who sat us at a booth inside the dining area know that we had reservations to which he replied "that's ok". Less than average food, slow service and limited beer selections. We were hoping for more despite the other average reviews. Restaurant and brewery per the name. For a restaurant the food was below average. Started by asking about the brew selections, a stout would be nice. No, no stouts. Ok, kind of a limited brew menu on the table. So, nothing jumped out from the menu so ordered a Yuengling and asked for a sample of their Red Ale. Out came the Yuengling ($6.25) but no red ale. Wanted to sample the red ale before the Yuengling. Asked later about the forgotten red red ale and waitress admitted to forgetting it and brought a sample in a small shot glass. Later, noticed another beer menu on the wall with some different brews we would probably have got a flight of but too late for us. Next we ordered a small Caesar salad ($7) which had too much dressing. Ugh! Waitress recommended their burgers and something called "Chicken Fried Chicken." Cheeseburger with fries ($17.50) was just average and the Chicken Fried Chicken " was lacking in sauce. By the time the waitress came back so we could ask for more sauce the burger was about done and the chicken was half eaten. No one stopped by to ask how things were and neither did the waitress so that's too bad. The chicken fried chicken was left half eaten on the table and the waitress didn't bother to ask if we wanted to take the leftovers to go. I guess she knew the answer. We remarked, to ourselves, that the plates were hotter than the food, I guess that that tells you something in and of itself. Later, on the way home, we figured out maybe it's more of a tourist destination, even though we live in Daytona Beach, and maybe that's why the food, service and brewery selections are subpar. There did appear to be a manager on duty but he wasn't stopping by any tables to check on the clientele or send any father's day greetings. One and done for us after we hit rock bottom.

    Freah fish tacos!

Great place, very clean, stuff was super awesome, food was fresh down to the guacamole, I will definitely be back! Thanks What do u call cheese not yours!

Place is in a great location. We walked over from our hotel. Only con was the fact that we didn't get greeted right away. Once we were at table our server was really nice and gave good recommendations. I had the Tito's spritz it was good but could have used more Prosecco topper. We tried a burger, the onion rings, the Caesar salad the mozzarella sticks and the spin dip. All were tasty and hot. I did have to ask for the wonton chips for the dip but that's all that was wrong. The dip didn't have a ton of spinach but was very creamy. Service was good and we were well attended too. Will def go back

I really tried to like this Rock Bottom brewery in Daytona. Can't put my finger on exactly what it is about it, but it's just okay. I have been to the Rock Bottom in downtown Chicago on the red line. This location in Daytona Florida does not compare. In fact, because I have been to the Chicago location, I was expecting more and keep leaving this location disappointed. So to start, the service here is good and they have a decent selection of beers. Something for just about anyone's palet: IPA, Belgian, Pilsen, Lager and even brown ale. The beers are okay, they taste like what they should. Just not wowed by any of them. I do like the one and done Belgian tripel. The food here is okay as well. Have had a pizza here which is good. Also the fried pickles, which were also good. Still though, this gives a commercial touristy chain restaurant vibe, and not a brewery. Pluses are the beer is decent, plenty of tvs for sporting events, lot of space both booths, high tables and the bar. There is also an upstairs and lower level. Although not my favorite, still decent beer at tourist prices, average $8-$10 per beer.

Nice, relaxed feel in the restaurants. So much so the servers seem to be relaxing on shift too.... Our first waitress either didn't like us or took the wrong table. So we got a guy named Kevin, who sucked! He was awful. Stunk bad like cigarettes, pants were sagging. Extremely slow. Did everything so slow. Brought everything so slow. The other young waitress(not our first waitress) was on top of her tables. She brought their food out. Our waiter literally had someone bring him our food me then he brought us our food. He was not attentive. My husband had no refill for a LONG time multiple times. Shrimp batter was very soggy & doughy. Sliders 2/5 stars. Fruit, better than melon. Waiter took my plate before I was done with food still on it and didn't even ask if I was done. We literally left and went thru a drive thru. Sad a fast food provides better service & food than a sit down restaurant. Wouldn't go back honestly. Not worth my time. We sat for an hour waiting food.

Relaxed ambiance - think sports bar type restaurant. But, the food was really good and well presented! My bunny ordered a burger, and it was cooked perfectly. It was tasty. It was lean and quite good. I ordered a steak salad. So many times I've ordered this dish and the steak has either been almost raw or overcooked. Not at rock bottom - the steak was cooked perfectly, the greens were fresh, no brown on them, the salad dressing was fresh and homemade it was not bottled, and it was amazing! I ordered a glass of red wine - the pour was a generous 9oz pour and was really good - you could taste that the wine was fresh and had not been opened and recorked. My husband ordered an IPA and was also pleased. The wait staff was great and really kind, and pleasant. Before choosing Rock Bottom we checked their health Department rating - A+! The eatery was clean, and food delicious - we will be back for a return visit!

Waitress was great. Food not so much. App came out quickly. Guacamole & salsa tasted fresh. My fam seemed to enjoy the queso. Food took forever. My 10 yr old kept asking about his mac n cheese dish. The pizza was tasty. The brussel sprouts were cooked too long, we asked for them crisp/ crunchy. The fish tacos were cold, she had fresh ones sent out. Overall, if the food didn't have to be remade & we didn't have to wait so long. 4 stars would have been the review. Restroom was clean.

    Massive Chicken fried chicken.

First of all the service was great. We had Josh as our waiter and he was very attentive. We got the deviled eggs for an appraiser. The flavor was quiet good and the littl peppers gave them a nice kick. My husband got the chicken fried chicken. It was massive. I can only assume that it was actually from a pterodactyl. It tasted great and the mash potatoes that came with it were fantastic. I got the fish tacos. They were very good but the stand out was definitely the pterodactyl I will be getting that next time.

We recently moved to Daytona Beach and were super excited to have a location here. We're from the West Coast and had been to Rock Bottom on the other side of the country with fond memories from our past. We arrived right before dinner time at maybe 4:30 pm and were seated by the person that ended up being our server. He was pleasant and did a good job. We tried a couple beers and settled on an IPA and Pilsner. I can't remember the names but they weren't great but decent. The food soon came out in waves as we ordered an appetizer. The food was also just ok but nothing special. The ambience was light and bright but the roof top was unfortunately closed so we couldn't sit up there. I would give it 3.5 stars as nothing was good or bad. It really just had the old school chain feel which isn't fun at all. This place really needs an overall makeover and some new ideas if it wants to stay relevant in today's modern restaurant world.

    With a rooftop section!

Cool atmosphere when beer is brewed on site and poured out on tap! Yes! We weee here for a rooftop event so I got to try their nachos with queso and their meatballs!! Oohh the meatballs were magnificent! I actually just remembered that they said we could take some home and I forgot! :( I ordered the tiger cry vegetarian bowl- shiitake mushrooms, edamame, Brussels sprouts... that's all you need to know. No meat in there but they have Other ingredients and the sauce was delicious! Very happy with the food!

Zach the bartender. So above & beyond & attentive it's unreal. He truly seems to enjoy being there & has a great work ethic. It's like you're friends. Doesn't skip a beat. Goes way above & beyond to help us decide what to get for food as well as what to try beer wise to find what we would like. It was our first time here. He seemed very willing & not bothered at all. In fact he offered for us to try the Mexican Porter without the lime first then with the lime just to see the difference. He even went out of his way to let us try the bourbon sauce first before we ordered the bleu bourbon cheeseburger with this sauce. He recommended it & it did not disappoint at all. Well done Chef on nailing the perfect temperature. That seems to be hit or miss lately either under or over when I've been out and about. The food was warm even the fries were warm & crisp that came with it. And the roll it was on was lightly buttery & slightly toasted. So getting back to apps. We tried the Southwest egg rolls. Very good. Big fan of the actual egg roll. Very tasty & not greasy. Firecracker shrimp. Pretty typical. Lot of crunch not soggy. Beer wise-We tried the Italian Porter, smooth and not hoppy no don't like hoppy beers. Came in at 5%ABV. The Bottoms Up, lightest beer they had at 4.5% ABV and the Mexican Porter at 5%ABV. all very smooth & easy to drink. We then met the new DM from A1A Ale Works by the way he was transferred here. Same company. Nice to know. Sad to see A1A go. We loved it there. He was also nice & was doing various chores like taking plates & dusting by the front door. Very clean place. Yes I'd go back & try more food items and bring more people for sure. It's located right across from Bass Pro Shops directly across the street from Daytona Speedway. There is parking lot all around. We sat at the bar, again glad we did cause of Zach! Large TVs so we could watch games etc. has an upstairs and rooftop. It was like 100 degrees & they had a private event going on so we didn't get to see the rooftop so again another excuse to go back if in the Daytona area. Don't skip on this place!

We waited about 5 minutes after being given menus before a "server" came over. This man seemed to think we were there for entertainment. Everything that came out of his mouth was loud and somewhat irritating. He wouldn't stop with the poor humor and refused it seemed to just act professionally. Placing our order was uncomfortable. We ordered a burger and salad for my wife and 12 wings for myself. When ordering, the server kept saying "AND" after we would state what we wanted. He was trying to push us to order more? He continued to a point that we almost got up and walked out. What he failed to realize was that we were out for a simple and quiet late afternoon meal, not a Gong Show audition by him. Almost 35 minutes passed. Yes, 35 minutes. The server stopped by and believe it or not, grabbed the table side ordering device and had to check to see if HE actually put in the order. He left and returned about 5 minutes later with the order. The wings were inedible. The first thing I noticed is they were dried out. Not even warm on the outside yet somewhat steamy on the inside. The sauce was dried out on most of them. And then came the taste test. Have you ever eaten wings that were old? The wings were so salty I almost spit them out. I held back due to being in a public area. The worst. Salt beyond understanding. I tried a second and the same thing. I had my wife try part of another and she gagged. My wife's burger was tasteless. It fell apart, all 1/4 inch thickness. Nothing better than a low end Walmart frozen patty. When I attempted to get the server to raise the issue, he was too busy socializing and cracking jokes with a table a few feet away. He and another server were telling all sorts of stories with people at the table. It took us around 7 minutes to finally flag down a bus boy to go get his attention. When the server came over, he addressed me initially as though I was making a mistake, almost questioning my concern. He asked to replace the wings and I said no. What was served was awful. The items weren't prepared with the wrong sauce or undercooked, these were "off". It took the server over 10 more minutes to remove the item from our bill. As we were moving out of the booth to leave, the manager came over and couldn't care any less. She made a non-serious gesture by asking if there was something she could order for us, AS WE WERE LEAVING. She demonstrated no concern, no apology, no empathy etc. She never came over to even ask for our input from the original issue. She didn't care, plain and simple. She dismissed us as though she was wasting her time even talking to us. I have a gift card balance of around $14 that will forever go unspent. I'm not sure what happened to this place but it's a complete mess when it comes to food and professionaiism.
