Could have also been diet even though I ordered regular. Green leaf lettuce so I ordered a salad with my bacon cheeseburger and fries on the side. I appreciate that the server knew it was cheaper to get fries on the side instead of the salad on the side. Fries were seasoned a bit too heavy-handed, the burger was great., bacon cooked perfectly. Server quick to refill soda as I ate my meal. I will probably return here, especially for breakfast, but will pay with cash next time. Without washing his hands, he got right up and went to the soda machine and from the soda machine yelled across to out table asking us what we wanted to drink and dropped them off at our table! To make matters worse, several other staff members kept walking over to his table to grab fries out of his plate while his food was sitting there. The situation went from gross to completely absurd when I asked for extra lime for my tacos. Our server thought it was funny to hide a whole lime under his shirt and roll it onto our table while laughing hysterically. He then pointed to a plate of food he was about to serve to another table, told me to pick the sliced limes off of that customer's plate, and walked it over to them. I felt terrible for the unsuspecting diner who received that food, and it made us completely lose trust in how our own meal was handled. The lack of basic food safety and respect for customers is shocking especially since I'm in the food service industry. I'm thinking the waiter needs to retake his California food handlers exam. We will definitely never be back.
