We decided to check this place out shortly after they opened and I must say truly enjoyed everything about this place. We love sushi and we try sushi places all the time. This was really good, reasonably priced, lots of options and selections with great names to match the name of the restaurant. Everything tasted fresh looked really nice when it came out. All six of us were very impressed by the service and everything about the atmosphere. This place is the epitome of awesome marketing and branding. The menus are done like vinyl albums. On my way to visit my mom I noticed this place finally opened. So I placed an order over the phone for the twisted tuna appetizer and the unplugged roll. I hate to say it, but the twisted tuna was actually disgusting. There was no flavor to it at all. The crispy wontons were limp and drenched in oil. And to make things worse, there was a short black hair right on top of the roll. So we never even had a chance to try that. I called the business 9 times in a row, all calls went unanswered. My food was okay by the time it got to me, however I left the bag NOT EVEN ANY FOOD, by my trash can and had maggots in 24 hours, I've never had a maggot and they weren't in my other trash they all came from the rock and roll sushi bag, mind you, I got COOKED everything no raw meat!! Went to the soft open on 9/16/23. First, whoever trained their staff crushed it. Our server was amazing. Ordered a few rolls including the cucumber wrapped one which was lovely. I mostly eat cooked things so I also got the steak chicken and veggie cooked dish. Yum. Chicken was a tad dry but it's so hard to pull that off. Only complaint: the tuna app was awfully frosty. Just a storage mistake I'm sure. It would NOT keep me from going back. I've worked a few soft opens in my day and this was well executed. Did I mention I don't really care for sushi? Overpriced. Bartender made it visible she was unsatisfied with the tip. Left another 5 out of guilt. The ramen had the tiniest two pieces of meat. I guess they were more decorative than anything. Saw they had great ratings so we tried them for a take out order. Excellent!! We ordered several sashimi orders, yellowtail, tuna and they were fresh and good size slices. We also ordered the baked claim appetizer and loved it. The spider roll was crispy, our albacore nigiri was also fresh and tasty. And since someone forgot to put our order in on time, they were very gracious and gave us an appetizer on the house. A definite go back for us. read more

I really loved this place! The atmosphere is so fun. They've invested in the decor and theme quite a bit and it's really cute. I enjoyed the music that is playing and the rock and roll theme is fun. The food was fresh and really good. We got the jalapeño poppers, rock lobster roll and the VIP roll. We enjoyed it all. It did take a bit of time to get our food, but I assume that's because it was made fresh. We will be back! One note for the owners. I've driven past this place for the past year or two without realizing it was a sushi restaurant. If I had known, I'd have gone in a long time ago. The logo features the words "rock and roll" prominently, but the word "sushi" is small. I only ever saw the "rock and roll" part and have assumed it was a music studio like School of Rock, my husband thought the same thing. I suggest making the word "sushi" larger than rock and roll on your sign and flags to draw business. I'm not sure people realize it's a Sushi place. read more

This is a fun atmosphere, the whole place is rock n roll themed with TVs playing rock music videos. I got the drink Girl Band and it was amazing, sweet and creamy. I chose the unplugged roll, it was cucumber wrapped with no rice, very fresh and perfect for a low calorie option. I judge my sushi restaurants by their fresh salmon nigiri and I can say this place passes the test. My bartender/server, Rachel, was friendly and provided great service! Even better than the first time!!!! We for sure had the wontons again and tried the shrimp tempura roll and we had the VIP with tuna and salmon nigiri. All was super fresh and delicious. Atmosphere was the same as last but music volume was lower which made it more pleasant. This is a great spot close to home with fast good service. I genuinely love this place. The ambience is so cool. Very nice for Instagram because there are a lot of photo ops for rock and roll fans. I'm a big fan of punk and rock and roll and you'll see a lot of nods to bands and even the shape of a concert stage. The service is super nice. Everybody greeted us and made us feel welcome. The only downside I would say were the prices. It's a little more expensive than some of the places I've been to. But other than that a great place. And we'll definitely come again. read more
