One of the best stops for food on our trip. Felt like it was a little pricy for being in Kanab, UT. Vegetarian Enchiladas were very flavorful and bold tasting. OMG!! If you are traveling through the Kanab area, you have to stop and eat at this restaurant. I honestly did not expect to find such creative cooking in this part of the US. The menu has something to offer for everyone. My deep dish enchilada was a delightful composition of layered flavors. Overpriced and pretentious. Like most businesses in Kanab they have to make their money during the tourist season. They pack them in, give them a vegan menu (don't forget the gluten free) and charge a ton for average food. The menu is upscale to match the prices but the execution left a lot to be desired. What a great restaurant, first of all it's in a building built in the 1890s the atmosphere is great, the wine menu is great, the service is great, and the food is awesome! We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. They have an excellent selection of local beers. Service was fast, efficient, courteous and with just enough checking on us without becoming intrusive. Starter was delivered promptly and our soaps (tomato basil and Cajun pork) were delivered perfectly after the starter. Both soups were excellent. I had the deep fried enchilada with chicken and the other two diners had mahi mahi and salmon. All prepared well. For dessert we shared a pumpkin cheesecake ... Delish! Food is excellent, staff is friendly and accomodating, and best of all it was right next to our hotel! We came in on a Saturday night, it was right next to ou hotel and it was aproxmatley 8pm after traveling all day to Kanab from New York. We didn't realize we should've called for a reservation for the hostess found a 2-top table for us and seated us promptly. Staff was so curteous and answered all questions we had. While eating (splitting the enchiladas and the fish tacos- both amazing!) staff checked on us to ensure we were happy with our food. Upon leaving we were asked if how everything was, as well as wishing us luck and fun on our trip. While we only came here once, the restuarant was right next to our hotel and seemed to e busy every night. Highly recommend- both tasty food and great staff! read more

Delia was our server and was super sweet! We enjoyed the enchilada and chicken marsala dishes, followed by the bread pudding. Super delish! Our only criticism is to adjust the lighting upstairs and/or move the tables in the center of the room to minimize the bright lights on customers while eating. read more

The staff was very friendly. They serve a foccacia bread with their balsamic vinaigrette to start. The bread is mediocre but the dressing is delicious. I could eat it with a spoon. I think their food is over priced but that is what you get in a town that preys off of the tourists visiting the parks. I ordered the cajun salmon which came with wild rice and asparagus. My friends got two pasta dishes. None of the food really stood out. Also ordered the ganache cake with ice cream for dessert. Also not the best. I could have just done with the ice cream which was really good. The ganache was not as thick and rick as I like it to be. It was more like a molten chocolate cake. read more

Dinner here was one of our trip highlights. The place is a hub for quality cuisine, friendly service and travel information. The owner was super nice and thoughtful to introduce us to sightseeing spots nearby. We came in around 9pm on Saturday. The ground floor was full and we were seated on the second floor, which was more spacious and set up like an art gallery. We recommend the Greek salad and chocolate vegan mousse. The salad was very fresh and had yummy artichokes, and the mousse was silky, yet very rich. read more

Stumbled upon this place during a trip to national parks. The choices are somewhat limited and there is not much meat (aside from fish) on the menu. The food was good...a great fusion of flavor with very high quality ingredients. We ate light tonight: I had the smoked trout starter and a glass of Polygamy Porter (they let me keep the fun bottle). Hubbie had a salad and a daquiri. The smoked trout was served as a whole filet and was excellent--tasted freshly smoked with no fishiness at all and had the fishy grey stuff from the bottom removed in advance (yey!). The accompanying pico de gallo and olive salad were adequate but not great. Hubbie's salad was short on dressing but other wise tasted good. Service was upbeat and good. LOVE. yup, love this place. was in town for a hot second from chicago and grabbed lunch here with my lovely aunt who is a new resident of kanab! the food was phenomenal and fresh. waitstaff was great and was super helpful in letting me be sneaky and pay for the meal. how do you not treat you awesome aunt?? only complaint is the food is uber expensive for utah? maybe I was looking for a break from the SUPER HIGH prices of chicago but the food was just as expensive as the restaurant i work at (some items even far more). that was a bit surprising. no biggie and not a turn off, but definitely notable. still an A in my book and would love to return, especially to that great outdoor seating! read more

We were excited to find a restaurant with such high ratings out in the boonies in Utah, the menu looked extremely promising and from the description expected a delicious and unique dining experience. The staff was sort of friendly and the appetizer soups were fantastic, but unfortunately the main dishes we received were really nothing special and certainly not worth the $20+ price tag attached. I had a pasta dish with chicken breast and assorted spring vegetables, all cheap ingredients that were not elevated to the level I was expecting. Friendly staff and the owner clearly cares. Prices are a bit high, and some dishes are better than others (that's why I didn't go to 5 stars) but overall it's a nice place for dinner.
