I was impressed with his ability to pivot away from what would not have worked, and use his skills to figure out the way to succeed. It is good to find creative tradesmen these days, we would love to have him come to our home if we need further help with the plumbing.

I'm fairly handy myself, and Andrew has always been willing to share helpful pointers along the way, which I really appreciate. Coastline Plumbing has become my go-to plumbers. Whenever Andrew is on the job, I can relax knowing the work is being done correctly and built to last. One thing to expect: Andrew was upfront about this from the beginning, but Coastline typically doesn't patch drywall or plywood after plumbing work, so you may need to hire someone separately for that part. I think that's standard for plumbers specialized in their trade. In my case, I patched them up myself.

Add another - as he was leaving, he remarked that we didn't have a pressure regulator on our incoming water line - I told him we did have one but we had it removed - and then he started low-key arguing with me saying he didn't see any evidence one ever existed. I remember when Justin had a small business and he was awesome. Be wary now, their plumber appear to have a reason to upsell as much as they can. Not the kind of plumber I want to deal with.

TEFLON tape?! hahaha i ain't stupid. once they snaked and was not able to get through, they said that the next step was to find the clog in the wall open the wall cut out the pipe and replace (a 1.5k+ job) i asked if there were any other options like hydro-jetting or such and they said hydro jetting would spew out everywhere not able to be done second floor i did my due diligence and called a few contractors that knew plumbers that werent on yelp a guy came in the next day, hydro-jetted the clog out in 30 minutes without needed to do any of the above, and only charged me $60 lol beware of the upsell! + though, since they did not get the clog out they did not charge me, just off putting on the blatant upsell. the owner seemed nice though.

I invited Jeff to show my slow flowing toilet and he looked and checked it. He knew the problem right away. I made an appointment for next Sat. He removed the toilet and OMG, there were a bunch of tree root inbetween the toilet bowl and the pipeline. I previously asked one company and they were estimated to do snaking and replace new toilet. estimate to be about $300 to $400 for just labor depending on the work. Jeff also helped me changed new wax on my master room toilet. this is a bigger job than other toilet cutting root problem. this toilet had internal leaking problem that I did not know and attract small shit eatting fly and breeding inside of the toilet. Jeff helped to clean up this one very well and replaced new wax. after four, five days later, we did not see those small fly. thank god and thank Jeff for this. I did not need to put new toilets and save a few hundred dollars here. His fee was very very fair for the job and I paid much less than other quote. And, the quality and workmanship were great.. We had two leaky tub spouts that needed replacing. They were stubborn and refused to come off with my efforts. Jeff was courteous, taking off his shoes every time to prevent damaging our new wood floors. This despite going out to grab tools multiple times. And he was honest, telling us the new cost estimate when the work turned out to be more than expected (needed to cut some pipe and do some welding). In the end, he even charged us lower than his adjusted price estimate. :) It is obvious that Jeff takes a lot of pride in his work. After calling two plumbers and not getting a call back, I decided to check on Yelp. I found Rocky Rooters and the reviews convinced me to give them a call. I called on a Thursday early evening and someone was there to take my call. She put Jeff on the line and I explained our problem: blocked bathroom sink. We arranged to have him come the NEXT day. The fact he fit us in so quickly earned my five stars right then and there!! On Friday he came ON TIME (more than five stars for this). After our Thanksgiving meal, our kitchen sink backed up with many inches of dirty water. Then it started to leak under our sink. I had a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I did not want to run the DW if I would have more water on the floor. I called Rocky Rooter. I asked if someone could come right away. She said they were closed for the day but Jeff could come first thing in the morning. Jeff came at 9AM after canceling his tennis game. After a negative and unsuccessful experience with another plumber, my landlord referred me to Rocky Rooter. Our kitchen sink was clogged and after getting most of the clog out, Jeff was able find a piece of rubber stuck in the pipes that was causing the real problem. He didn't charge us extra even though he had to do more work than originally anticipated, which was greatly appreciated as we're students. He cleaned the entire space at the end as well. I immediately contacted Orange Coast Plumbing, and they sent a technician out the following day. When the technician arrived, he was friendly, professional, and appeared very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue, evaluated the exposed piping, and was able to identify the exact location of the leak. Shortly afterward, he informed me that he did not have the proper materials with him but assured me that if I was comfortable with a $2,000 repair, he would return the next day and fix the problem. The technician returned the following day and began the work. Not long after, I received a call stating that the pipe underground was "outdated" and that the only solution was to run an entirely new main water line from the street to the house at an estimated cost of $20,000. Needless to say, I was shocked. Just one day earlier, I had been told with confidence that the leak could be repaired for $2,000. I informed the technician that I would need time to consider my options. At that point, he stated that he needed payment for the work already performed, so my wife wrote him a check for $1,000. When I returned home later that day, I found that my concrete had been jackhammered, my lawn had been torn up, my drip irrigation line had been cut, and a sprinkler line had been damaged. In other words, I paid $1,000 to have my property left in worse condition than when Orange Coast Plumbing arrived. Based on my experience, this felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic designed to upsell a customer from a $2,000 repair to a $20,000 replacement project. I ultimately hired a third-party plumber who evaluated the issue and successfully resolved it. In addition, I obtained three separate quotes for replacing the same main water line, and they ranged from $7,500 to $9,900. That is a far cry from the $20,000 price quoted by Orange Coast Plumbing. Before posting this review, I made multiple attempts to contact management to discuss and resolve the situation directly. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed. I would have preferred to settle this matter privately, but since that effort went nowhere, I feel obligated to share my experience so other homeowners can make informed decisions. I cannot recommend Orange Coast Plumbing based on my experience.

A $1300 new toilet installation. His cheapest? We buy a new toilet and he installs it for $400. I did a little poking around and fixed the issue for a $11 flush tank ring. I posted a comment on JIT's webpage and no one bothered to reach out. I wonder how many people that plumber has scammed out of significant money. Add another - as he was leaving, he remarked that we didn't have a pressure regulator on our incoming water line - I told him we did have one but we had it removed - and then he started low-key arguing with me saying he didn't see any evidence one ever existed. I remember when Justin had a small business and he was awesome. Be wary now, their plumber appear to have a reason to upsell as much as they can. Not the kind of plumber I want to deal with.

Super impressed bc he asked if I was able to reset the garbage disposal and explained to me the Allen wrench trick to see if I could get the disposal working. He was very patient in guiding me on what to do. Sadly, both tricks didn't work and we needed a new disposal. He gave me a prelim quote for all 3 jobs and it was a fair price. After completing, he showed me how he tested for leaks after doing the repairs -- and all were leak free! I know the drill because my unit is built weird with a 2nd floor kitchen with lots of angles in the pipes. He gave me a quote and called me the next day when I said my husband wanted a crack at it. I was desperate for a professional assessment since I knew what was wrong and that we were not going to be able to solve it. I've had my sink snaked and hydro-jet previously so I am familiar. Eric was fair and professional. He ended up coming sooner than our slated window due to another appointment falling through. He assessed the situation, did what was asked and gave my husband some useful information. I would 100% contact him again. Thanks for saving us from another clogged sink!
