David is the honest plumber. We used Poseidon Plumbing to help renovate our bathrooms. David helped us to replace two tubs and change two of our toilet water stops. We contacted three other plumbers for quotes to replace two tubs, and David came in with the most affordable price. He did a great job replacing our tubs. He even educated us on how to get our water hotter. In the middle of our renovation, we realized that one of our toilet water stops was not working. i called David, and he was at the house within the hour. Since all of our toilets were in poor conditions, I had asked him to replace all three of the toilet water stops. He informed me that I only needed to replace two of the three. We had called him and specifically asked for the service that can record the camera work as we needed it to show the sellers of the home the damages in the drainage pipes and be able to negotiate. David was wonderful, and helped us out solving our problem and provided great service. We purchased a refrigerator from a company that included delivery, haul away and install. They dropped off our new refrigerator and said the water valve in the wall was broken and to call a plumber. They wouldn't recommend and told me to find one, so i did a google search and saw Poseidon had good ratings. Out of the three local plumbers I reached out to, they were the only ones who answered my call immediately. They also had the lowest quote and were willing to come out to help same day. Once David arrived he was very helpful, he determined that the installers were incorrect and we didn't really need a new valve at all, it just needed to be switched on or off twice and left in the off position. A relief in that we didn't need to replace a costly piece or cut into the drywall which could have also been very costly. He then kindly helped me move and install the new fridge since the installers left me high and dry. After a few tests to make sure the water filter and dispenser were running accurately we were done. Early in the morning, I was made aware of a leak in the water heater. After seeing the rave reviews, I called David. The problem: a 20 year old water heater needing to be replaced. The solution: David offered to install a new heater and haul away the old one the same day. He had offered to put in a certain heater, but I preferred a different brand. So David went shopping for my brand of choice and called me to approve the competitive price and purchase. I was recommended to Poseidon by one of our neighbors on our neighborhood Facebook page. The owner of Poseidon Plumbing, David, called me back within a minute of my call to him. I explained that I bought an "earthquake actuated gas shutoff valve" that I bought for our home and I needed to get it installed. He immediately gave us an appointment for the next morning (a Saturday) and came out and installed the valve quickly and for a reasonable price. Seriously. What do I have to do to get this guy to allow me to PAY him??!?!?!?! He hasn`t even come out to actually DO any work for us yet, and yet we already have had amazing service from him. He has saved us nigh on $1000 by getting hold of a perfectly good second hand tub we can use in our upcoming bathroom remodel. We are definitely planning to get him to do the work, but just today I called him in a flat panic because we had a super-high water bill. I am usually a pretty chilled out kinda gal, but wasteage of water, gas or electric for some reason sends me completely OTT into OCD territory. I freak out when the kids leave a light on, and I am slow-breathing every evening now that my husband has wired uplights into our garden. "It IS pretty, it IS soothing, I AM calm....." So the thought of Lake Superior slowly spreading under our front yard just sent me into a meltdown and "Call David" was the first thing I thought. He said he would come out today and REFUSED a call out fee! I felt horrible about that, so instead I have spent the last couple hours trying to figure this out by myself. And it looks like I have it. A broken sprinkler system pipe appears to be the culprit. Phew! Simple to fix. This is clearly a guy with a passion for what he does, and his service is mindblowing. Early last week, had an issue (running water with noises) with the toilet , After reviewing and seeing reviews yelp, i decided to call Poseidon for services After the call, they came back and setup an appointment to check it out the problem, and they found out the valve and pipe might not be adjusted properly. to nail down the problem, they told me that they will do some investigation to ensure this would be the root cause. 2nd day they came back with the part (fill valve: just in case if necessary) and re-adjusted the pipe and valve. the problem went away and the issue was fixed. they even call back yesterday to ensure the problem didn't happen again, which i told them it didn't happen. We just did a major kitchen redo. My wife wanted gas range instead of electric. We also needed to run a line so the newly positioned refrigerator could get water for the ice maker.
