We found a rodent had eaten a hole in the wall of our pantry, plus we found rat and mice droppings throughout the house and looked for help. We found it with Rodent Control. Sean Arvelo arrived within a day and explained our options of how to rid our home of the rodents. I used another company two years ago to seal entrance of mice into my attic. It did't work. This year the animals on my attic have become big rats. So I decided to hire rodent control this time although they quote much higher than the other company. They sent a team of 5 people dressed in hazmat suits. Cleaned out my attic and sealed carefully the holes in my roof, crawl space, seam around the bottom of the walls. It took them a whole day. Recently, I was horrified to find mouse droppings in my house. Shortly thereafter, my greatest fear was realized when I saw a mouse running across my kitchen floor. At that point, I knew I needed to hire a professional to handle the problem. It was super important to me to hire a company that doesn't use poison as I have a child and dogs. After a lot of research, Rodent Control had the best reviews so I decided to call and set up an inspection. I was so relieved to hear over the phone that they do NOT use poison, and could come out within 48 hours. Idan came out for the inspection and immediately determined that the mice were coming in through the basement. He laid out a plan of how they would close off all entry points, set the traps and then come and remove the traps. I was amazed at how many ways mice could come into the house- so many places I had not even thought of! Idan also explained how we needed to put (literally) ALL food/items in the pantry away in Tupperware containers, which I also would not have known. After discussing the plan, I said "GREAT! When can you start?" LOL. Luckily, they had an opening in a few days. The day Idan's crew started the work, they were on time and followed all Covid protocols. They were super friendly, executed the plan how we discussed, and sanitized all areas we suspected the mice had been. Field Operator Sean Arvelo and his team were fantastic. They performed the work the day after the initial inspection. It's clear Sean is a real expert in eliminating critter problems. He and his team found where animals had been, cleaned up all signs of them, set traps and left pheromone-blocking agents, and then found more than a dozen points of entry or potential entry, sealing all of them off with cement and steel. These guys are reliable, responsible and know their business. When I called Jim, he was empathetic to our problem and made every effort to get to our home as quickly as possible. His supervisor, Eddie, came out and surveyed the situation in our basement and crawl space. He then took the steps necessary (laying 10+ traps) to find the critter. There were 2 follow up visits, one to inspect the traps and another to collect the traps. A rodent was caught. Unfortunately, we had evidence of another incident, which they came back for and found the rodent stuck to one of the "glue traps" that they left in our crawl space. As promised, here's an updated review. As previously noted, we live in a place right near the Santa Teresa Foothills, so I had to call Rodent Control for two follow-up visits. This had nothing to do with the quality of their work under any circumstances. Jacob took care of me every time. A Rodent Control representative was there the next day -- both times I called. The first follow-up visit, there were a few stragglers caught in traps that had to be disposed of. Not a surprise. Later in the week, I heard some skittering in the attic space (again, no surprises). I actually found a mouse hole in the attic space in my garage (not Rodent Control's responsibility, I may add), patched it up, and laid a trap. A day later...dead mouse, no more skittering in the attic space. A Rodent Control person STILL swung by the house to check the traps in the attics and crawlspace. No more mice.
