I took my 2014 F-250 to Rodeo Ford because I noticed quite a bit of oil leaking from below the engine. Roger in service was very pleasant to deal with during my visit. I went to work for the day (in an Uber) and waited for the diagnosis. Roger called me in the afternoon and let me know that I would need a new Upper Oil Pan, Vacuum Pump, Diagnostic, and Secondary Water Pump. Sounds expensive right? Well for all parts and labor I received a quote of $3,708.45! WOW. Attached to the quote was a parts list with the "actual cost" cut out with a pair of scissors! WOW! I told them that this was ridiculous because I checked all the parts online and could purchase all of them for under $350.00! I basically told them that this was a joke of a quote. Roger called me a couple days later and said that they could reduce the labor and do everything for $2,500.00. WOW, so generous of them. I took my truck about a block away for a second opinion to Litchfield Auto Repair.....dropped it off in the morning, they gave me a ride to work, called around 11AM and told me the only thing leaking was the vacuum pump and they could fix it and have it ready to go by the end of the day for $553.78 - ALL IN! I've been using the truck for a couple weeks now with no signs of leaks. I rarely write reviews but this time I felt the need to let everyone know that they need to be careful with places like these. A lot of people trust Ford and ultimately just pay the bill. Please take the time to check around and save a lot of money. Rodeo Ford should be on the news for this type of BS. You are taking advantage of people and using your Ford Brand as a vehicle to rip people off. I wouldn't return to this place if you offered me $3,708.45! What a complete GONGSHOW. read more

Ive been here twice already for my usual service and inspection. Im still under warranty for my car ive had my CV axle replaced and my trans axle seal replaced here. Everything looks good. Until i open my hood and find tools other hardware and a cap that seems to go to the oil type of my vehicle. Rodeo Fords tool accountability is pretty garbage. This is the second time thats happen to me therefore i want to write a review about it. And what did they do? Give me a free sun shade. Wow be nice to get a big discount or a free oil change on my next arrival or something. What if theres a screw or another hardware deep in my engine bay? Once again a very poor experience with the service dept. it started with a phone call to request a STANDARD 30k service for my car. You would have thought I asked for a trip to Mars. They said they could do a multi point inspection. All I wanted was a standard 30 k service. No one at this ford service dept seems to know what these standard services are. Why is that?? It's on my Ford app, on the website. So disappointing. I made the appt and once again when I brought the car in the same thing. When I bought the car I asked for the 3 year FREE maintenance and every time I brought the car in for 10k service this has been an issue. I don't understand it. They say I have it and then they want to charge me. It has been a hassle EVERY time. I really need to look for another Ford dealer for service. Today was the very same issue again! My service rep Amanda seemed to not care about my concerns. Again what a very very poor and aggravating experience at Rodeo Ford. Please Ford GM or Service Manager call me. Should have paid more attention to the low ratings and went elsewhere. I took my Lincoln key in for a battery replacement, seems simple enough. Two guys at the parts counter staring at a computer, I walk up and ask if they're able to help, or if I need to go to service. One guy reluctantly agrees to help, came off rude but, OK. Tells me the batteries are $8. I know in my head this is a lot, but i'm already here and for $8 its worth just getting it done. While he's prying at the key I mention I have another one that's not working and I'd like to get it fixed. Not sure if its a battery or programming. He's not interested in helping, tells me its going to be an hour wait for programming and I need to make an appointment. I was hoping to get the door code reset also, but at this point I've already got the impression he doesn't want to help. As he's pressing my key back together he asks if I've ever replaced the battery. I reply, 'I have not.' He hands me the key, I walk to the cashier, and pay. Turns out its two batteries, and its $17, ok well that's new info. Whatever, $20 bucks, its fixed im annoyed but its done. I get to my office, set the key down, it falls apart and a little black piece of plastic tumbles out. Immediately it makes sense, he broke the key trying to replace it and deflected the blame to me asking if I had ever tried to fix it. Now i'm really annoyed so I jump online and check the price of that battery, $1.50. So, I was charged six times the price, and now I have a key fob that doesn't want to stay together and will need to be replaced. A better customer experience here might have created a return buyer. My lincoln is a '14 and due to be replaced this year. After this experience I wont be returning to this dealership, and it's pretty unlikely i'll get another Ford/Lincoln. Its amazing to me that companies don't capitalize on these small customer interactions so when a big purchase comes along a buyer can purchase with confidence. We have been Toyota drivers for like 10 years and we opted to switch to a Ford because of the safety ratings. We also had hopes we would get some better customer service. Every time we went to Toyota to get a new car, no one would show us how to set it up on our phones or help with questions/issues after a purchase. Rodeo Ford has been a complete 180. Every single person here has been willing to help us, Jerry was fantastic and showed us how to work everything! He made sure my phone and my husbands was paired to the Ford app and Bluetooth. Jerry showed us all the features, when most salesman today don't know anything about the car they're selling half the time. We had a slight hiccup after purchase as a result of our lovely 2022 manufacturing issues, but Rodeo came through and literally saved our vacation and has made the entire situation a whole lot stressful and frustrating! A few months ago we purchased an F250 at this dealer. We had looked in Tucson where we live and wanted to shop local, but they would not come close to giving us what we wanted for our trade or give us same deal we were being offered at this dealership. We were pleased with the process of our purchase. We are currently still living in Tucson but drove up to get our first oil change on our truck and we are very happy with the courtesy and service we received. In fact, because of the distance and change schedule we had to change the day and time same week and there was no problem. We own another Ford vehicle and even an oil change is an issue in our local dealer in Tucson. Yes it is a drive, but I recommend Rodeo Ford for purchases and for service. read more

Where to start. Service department or at least our service rep was unprofessional, both in appearance and communication. Unprofessional and somewhat rude. Had my truck for a week when I called for update I was told "we are doing the best we can, she shuffled papers and said there is still 4 cars ahead of you". Than awkward silence. I said we need a diagnostic so you can check our extended warranty .... we are using a rental and it's getting costly since we were just in a week ago for recall work when our breaks went out. Again that's a whole other story of a rental car and a week! They are not the only dealer around, I guess we will drive farther next time for better service and communication read more

Wow! We found our used 2019 car online and we were dreading the buying process. We texted the internet chat representative and they put us in contact with Bobby. We told him we wanted to make a deal, bottom line numbers, out the door. He quickly texted back, line for line, legit, no nonsense fees and our out the door price. We made an agreement in minutes! It was so easy, it almost felt too good to be true and now we were concerned the car wouldn't look as great as advertised.... But boy were we impressed, better than the photos, it was absolutely perfect!!! We loved that it had our name with a SOLD sign waiting. :) Bobby met us in the lot and we were made at ease with his laid back, kind, genuine demeanor. You want a no BS salesman to work with?? Ask for this guy! Once inside I was still on guard for the old "surprise fees" to be thrown around, but they never came. Years ago Rodeo Ford had my highest recommendation. I have owned four Ford vehicles during the past 14 years. During the past two years it has become next to impossible to get timely service for my Ford vehicles from this dealership - even for new vehicles under warranty. Time after time Rodeo Ford has required I leave my vehicle with them for 1 - 2 weeks before they diagnose it, and then require another 1 - 2 weeks for the service to be completed. Even if you have purchased a new Ford vehicle, they will not perform warranty repair work without leaving your vehicle with them for weeks. In short, once Rodeo Ford has your money, they no longer care about you. I have now sold my last Ford vehicle and will never purchase another Ford specifically because it is impossible to get timely service. It is such a relief not to have to deal with Rodeo Ford for any service needs anymore. I highly recommend you stay away from Rodeo Ford. read more

Let me start by saying that we are a long-time Ford Family. We love Ford products and honestly had previously never had a bad service experience - pretty rare thing to be able to say! Unfortunately, that winning streak ended with our very short visit April 11th (I believe). We were ending a great week with our family and heading west across the desert when the lights in the A/C panel went out and our A/C stopped working. I'm no expert, but since all of the other lighting was working, I assumed that we had blown a fuse or switch. Because my husband is recovering from an eye injury and can neither drive or see properly, he suggested that we pull in to your maintenance department and get some help. We had barely pulled up when Aaron stepped up. I told him that we were on our way out of town, I believed we had blown a fuse, and was hoping he could either fix the problem or show me where the fuse box was. He just replied that we had to make an appointment for system analysis. I explained that my husband could not help me and, since I was unable to make an appointment (as we were leaving town), if Aaron could show me where the fuses were I would attempt to check/replace myself. He asked, "don't you have a manual?" I said, "not with me...do you know where the fuse box is?" He literally answered, " I know where it is (I'm assuming he did not), but you will have to have a systems check." I reiterated that I was sure it was a fuse or switch, as only the A/C panel was out. Aaron turned to a Manager (who turned out to be Cody) in one of the small offices, and told him that my ENTIRE panel was out, to which Cody replied "they need a system check". He turned to me & actually smirked!! saying "you have to schedule a system check". We left, and had to drive 5 hours home across the desert without our A/C. I called to complain, and got Aaron, who allowed me to tell the entire story before telling me who he was - but at least, when asked, passed me on to his Manager (Cody). Cody was apologetic, after being told that Aaron had changed what I had told him TWICE, and did his best to give me some information so that I could try to fix the problem myself. After replacing the fuses, an auto parts clerk said the next thing up from the fuses would be the relay switch - which we replaced for just $34. Perhaps your Ford Maintenance Department should go looking for helpful employees there? Cody said he would talk to Aaron....then admitted that he HAD talked to Aaron about similar occurrances......so I would bet that, when I visit my family again, Aaron will still be there. Too bad....he gives your dealership a bad name - the first in 25 years of my Ford ownership! read more

I have hesitated writing a review for this dealership but enough is enough... my brand NEW car I bought at Rodeo Ford continuously has the same issue and the customer service I get at this dealership makes me want to sell it and be done with it. I bought my car brand new at the end of November of 2017 at Rodeo ford. Right when I took it off the lot I got a check engine light so I had to go to a dealer near me to fix it. Mid 2018- I had an oil pan leak after the first oil change that I had done at Rodeo Ford. Another dealer fixed it. October 2019 ANOTHER oil pan leak. I took it to Rodeo Ford to get it fixed and so the downfall begins. First of all they took 5 DAYS to fix an issue and had to worst communication. I had to continuously call to get an update on my car. Along with the issue being fixed I also asked for my tires to be rotated and a detail wash, since I purchased the detail package. I get a call on the 4th day that my car was ready and I asked to make sure that the wash was done, she said no and that I can pick it up tomorrow now. Really?? I pick up my car the next day and my tires were NOT rotated like I asked, and my fuel tank was EMPTY when I had given it to them with a little more than half a tank. I was furious, it's like they don't look at the paperwork. Already limited on time as I was studying for my school finals I called the service manager and in a very condescending tone told me "they have to drive your car you know," I replied that I was very well aware of that but do they have to drive it 20+ miles and NOT even correctly put the in/out mileage on my paperwork? Like they did it on purpose to not get caught? He apologized, offer me $15 credit and to rotate my tires for free (even though it's already free). I didn't have the time to go and never have been back. January 2020 I start smelling oil once again. I take my car to Sanderson Lincoln and they say I have an oil leak pan AGAIN for the THIRD TIME. It's April 2020 and I just got it fixed again. Hopefully for good this time. I am writing this Review because Rodeo ford Cared about my familed safety when Sanderson Ford Did not! Sanderson ford put my family's safety in jeopardy and I am extremely disappointed with that location. For the sake of all other families who may be affected by their blatant neglect I felt the need to tell you about my experience and Why I now will do business with Rodeo ford and NOT Sanderson Ford. My husband and I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape. Last year there was a recall for a faulty door latch that needed to be fixed. This issue caused the door to pop open while driving, it would not remain closed and it couldn't be locked. We took it to Sanderson ford to be repaired. Upon speaking with the repair department we asked them if they will be replacing all of the door latches just in case this was to happen again on another door. We were told no! That it was company policy that they cannot fix them until they break. I thought this was strange and I asked again for clarification, my concern was obviously what if this was to happen while my young daughter is in the car? They again refused to fix the remaining doors. They fixed the driver side door latch that was broken and we went on our way beyond my better judgment. Fast forward to last week when low and behold the driver side back passenger door latch broke with my daughter riding in the car! Luckily she didn't have her little arm or leg or any other body parts crushed by the door but this was extremely scary! I remembered the awful service we received from the Sanderson ford the first time around so we decided to call the Rodeo Ford location and they were able to fit us in for a repair right away. Upon speaking with the women who helped set up our service she informed me that they would absolutely be replacing all door latches due to safety concerns and that in fact the recalled parts come together in package of 4 to replace all 4 doors at a time. So imagine my surprise to hear one location say they refuse to replace the remaining doors and one location say they absolutely would because they don't want to put my family's safety at risk. Needless to say I am thrilled with the service I received from Rodeo ford! Im happy we chose them this time around. I am happy that they did not take the easy way out. I am thankful that they were not lazy and I'm thankful they did not put my family's safety at risk. I am however appalled that Sanderson Ford obviously does not value their customers or their safety. I bought a car from Omar Blandino 3 weeks ago. After the typical LONG day of being worn down, I bought gap insurance at an inflated price. I then paid off the entire loan on Tuesday. Since I paid off the car loan before the first payment is due, I am supposed to get my gap insurance premium refunded by the dealer, but they won't return my calls or respond to my emails. Will most likely have to sue in small claims court. I am not sure if their subsidiary Earnhardt dealerships do business this way, but just in case, y'all might want to stay away from all of them. read more

Took my F250 in for an oil change and tire rotation (the works). I tow a Travel Trailer and told them to readjust the tire pressure after rotation the tires call for 65psi in front 80 psi in rear. When I got back to my campground I checked the pressure and it had 80 in the front and 65 in the rear. I lifted the hood to hook my air compressor up to the battery and they didn't put the oil cap on and oil splattered out. I called to complain and they did refund my money. I would never go back to Rodeo Ford. read more

The dealership in general is fine, like most dealerships. However the SERVICE DEPARTMENT should have a 0/5 rating. They only do drop off appointment, which means you have to give them 7-10 day to look at your car. I understand cars are not an over night fix but by day 12 I still did not have my car looked at despite calling and being told "your car is next in line". Also my service advisor Amanda Jacobs didn't answer ANY phone calls, even when I was told she'd call me after checking someone in... and hour and a half passes by and still no call. They also knew my warranty wouldn't cover a emissions issue, yet they didn't sway this till after I picked up my car! Which by the way they couldn't find for 25 minutes! Overall I paid 129 dollars for them to read my check I gone light, and they used half a tank of gas AND left my highbeams on read more

I have previously reviewed Rodeo's service department that was great. Now on to the sales department that was not. I stopped by late one evening and met a very friendly younger man. Sorry, I can not remember his name but he was a taller Caucasian male. Wish I could remember his name because he deserves recognition from Rodeo for providing great customer service and the only reason I would give that dump of a sales department two stars. The young salesman listened to what I wanted, listened to what I was willing to spend and worked to find a deal. Then came his young slicked haired closer to blow up our efforts. I am not describing him to make fun of him but to identify the individual that could learn a thing or two from his probably less seasoned salesman. The closer threw out a ridiculous number, told me that there were no other similar SUV's available in AZ and told me other dealerships were lying to me about what they were willing to offer. All I could do was laugh, tell him I would go elsewhere and thank the salesman for being awesome. I feel for him not getting the sale. To Rodeo, if you read this, please let your closer know I found the SUV at Chapman Ford that he said didn't exist and I got it at the price he said they were lying to me about. Went online on a Sunday morning to schedule an appointment for prepaid maintenance for my Transit Connect at Rodeo Ford. Online scheduler has no option for that--just services and their cost. Chat option took me to someone who vowed to take my contact info so that service dept would call me back first thing Monday. They did not, so I finally called them. First appt avail was three days later for an oil change. Stephanie was the service rep who greeted me when I arrived at 9am. She talked so fast I constantly asked her to repeat. I informed her that I wanted only prepaid maintenance. She insisted that this was my first time there (even though my records indicate that I was there before--on July 11, 2016). She took my number and agreed that the car would be ready by 2pm--they would call when finished. Four o'clock rolled around with no word, so I called them. They claimed that they had called me but my phone was out of service. I asked what number they had called--it was the number I was speaking to them from! When I arrived to pick up the car, they directed me to the service desk and informed me that I owed $49. I asked why prepaid maintenance cost that much extra, but they never would explain. I never saw the receipt to know what was actually done. Two other employees were called who went off to try to rectify the situation. While I was talking to one of them on my cell phone (to prove that the number I gave them was a working number), a piece of paper was shoved in front of me and I was asked to sign it. Stephanie did not want to wait for me to get off the phone I suppose, so my husband signed it. However we were not given a copy so I don't know to this day what actual work, if anything, was done. Only then did they go to find my car! Several weeks later, someone called me to answer their survey. I told them all of the above, and they said they would report this to their manager and that I would receive a copy of my receipt. They took my email address and said they would fax it to me. At the time of this writing I am still waiting for it or a call from their manager. When I was there in 2016 I received a survey via email checking on my visit. I did not receive one for this visit. I will not be using this location again and I regret having signed up for prepaid maintenance. read more
