Finding a Ford Ranger is tough. Add in the pandemic and chip shortage, and it becomes almost impossible. I was looking for a while when I found one in stock at Rodeo Ford that was the correct color and had all of the features that I wanted. I've never been to this dealership before, but one of their internet guys, Ricardo Garfias, was very impressive. He worked with me to get the deal that I was happy with before even setting foot in the dealership. We went to the dealership on Tuesday evening after my wife got home from work to do the paperwork. Unfortunately, Ford was having technical issues with their system and we were unable to actually sign the papers, but he sent us home in my new Ranger. We agreed to come back Wednesday evening to actually sign, and he made it worth our while to make the extra trip back down to Rodeo Ford. They were waiting for us when we arrived and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I am very happy with the truck, and thrilled that the process was so easy to do. When it's time to trade my wife's Ford Edge, we will definitely start our search with Ricardo and Rodeo Ford! read more

The worst. Buying the car wasn't so bad, because they're taking your money, service is a joke. Considering I'm a loyal customer (my fault), you would think they'd try harder to keep you happy. This is the 2nd time I've brought my car for regular scheduled service, plus a recall issue and 2 other small issues (rear wiper and a/c odor, that they've had the car for a week. They seem to not have any concern for the customers time. Also I was told they schedule you for a drop off before they have availability for the car to be looked at, so it just sits there, forget about it, if it's Thursday of Friday, it won't be looked at til Monday. Than if your lucky one tech will take a look, than returned to the back of the line for the next tech to look at it, and so on for each issue. BTW, the car is still pretty new, 2020, 60,000 miles. The first time they provided a rental, on them. Nope, not any more. Horrible service. Horrible. read more

BEWARE! I have purchased 14 new cars from Rodeo and have always been treated like a king until they talked into an all-electric Mustang. What a piece of crap. I kept it a week and returned it and they hit me with $12,000 in penalties, plus they say you get a $7500 tax rebate, which is a lie as it is not valid in Arizona. They are in big trouble with Electric and not afraid to throw a very loyal customer under the bus. The Bronco Sport Heritage Limited in Robins Egg Blue was the car we traded in on the Mustang and they knew how much my wife loved that car, plus it was paid for and had the 10yr 175,000-mile $0 deductible extended Ford Primacare Warranty and they still kept building up the Mustang until they broke me to buy it. Ricardo even added that he was glad to see us get into the Mustang, knowing all along what the Bronco meant to my wife and what a bad deal the Mustang was turning into. We are on Social Security and are doing our best to save up the money to get her warranty back so it can be her last car. They won't even give me a deal on buying warranty. This hurts! read more

So, I'm giving 2 stars because I was able to call at 6:50am, drop my car at 7:15 and get new tires put on same day (all 4). That was good. I also appreciated the customer service provided by Cody. So I needed new tires, but I had a couple of other things I wanted checked out, and it was going to be $100 for each item diagnosed. So, I skipped it because I was paying $1,000 for tires. Inconvenient, since I was already there. But whatever. My problem is how my tires look. Maybe I'm wrong, so feel free to let me know. But my tires and wheels look terrible!! How is this even acceptable to give back to a customer? I was in such a rush that I just got in my car and flew to my appointment. I bought my 2023 Ford Explorer in April from Benny Valenzula and his service was excellent. However the service department is less than good, more like poor. Where does it make sense that you make an appointment and then you get there and they tell you they need to keep your vehicle and it will be 5 days before they will have a tech available to check your vehicle. If you don't leave your vehicle then you lose your place in line. So what are you suppose to do without your vehicle for the 5 days. I was told that if the issue is a warranty fix then loaner/rental car is free. If the issue is not a warranty fix then you must pay for the loaner. When I arrived they didn't have any loaners left and the rental car company they use didn't have any fords left. This was on July 15th and I was told my service advisor Aaron ( believe that's his name) was not in on Monday. My mistake I made the appointment using their on-line service. Another service advisor took all of my information and said Aaron will call me when they have a loaner available. Hey Aaron it's July 29th and I still haven't heard from you. That's okay I made an appointment with Sanderson Ford for Wednesday and I asked if they will be looking at my vehicle on that day. They said yes it would be looked at within 2 hours of my arrival. Rodeo Ford you need to work on your scheduling issue. Stop over scheduling and only schedule what you can handle in a day. read more

The customer service from their service department is terrible. I made an appointment for 3 recall services for 3pm. They later confirmed the appointment. I arrived at 2:30 and was told to go next door to receive my service work. I did and then waited at least 10 minutes to get helped by a service advisor. I told them about my appointment and they said it could not be accommodated because recalls had to be brought in between 7-9am and left all day. And no apology on their part. They totally wasted my time by making an appointment that they would not honor. read more

One star is as low as I can select. I had been going here for nearly twenty years and I have watched their service get progressively, and likely irreversibly, worse. I had a fuel gauge issue that I had to go back SIX times for and I received the same answer every time. Had to find a Ford forum to figure out what the issue was myself. Still took me taking it back two more times to get them to do what the forum said. I only kept going back because it was warranty work. Took my vehicle in to have my four wheel drive fixed only to have it start doing the same thing within a year. Same experience with an air door actuator. Now they're saying I need to leave my vehicle with them for 1-2 weeks BEFORE they'll even look at it. This started during COVID and is continuing to this day. They can't manage their schedule, so they're pushing that off on the customer claiming it's to take better care of you. Leaving me without a vehicle for two weeks before even looking at it is taking care of me?! They're also claiming they have to do that because parts aren't available. They won't look at my vehicle for up to two weeks to see if I even need parts, yet part availability is why they need to keep it?! This place is a joke and they're insulting the intelligence of anyone who goes there for service. read more

I trusted Rodeo but they lied to me. A lot. ***** (in response) Alex, you and I spoke on this issue and you told me there's nothing you're willing to do. You compared my purchase of a car from you to purchasing a TV from Walmart and how it isn't your fault that the car was junk. You said I just need to deal with 9 trips for repairs like you deal with poor workmanship on your home. Are you now willing to make this right? **** First Rodeo said my car had 2040 miles as a new purchase due to being driven from Texas, but my 36,000 mile warranty would be extended to 38,040 miles. Then my "new" car wasn't actually new since the dealer sold it to himself as a demo car and didn't disclose it. The demo car sale made it used in the eyes of Ford so I paid new price for a used car. Then I found out that the demo car usage is where the initial 2040 miles actually came from - not a drive from Texas. Then I found out that Rodeo had installed an aftermarket alarm system they did not disclose that fried major electric systems which required 9 trips and a tow to 2 dealerships over 8 months before the car was operational - for now. If all that wasn't bad enough, leadership at Rodeo refused to put me in a different car, extend my coverages, compensate me in any way, refund the difference for my car cost as it should have been sold as used, or even pay for my gas or mileage for repairs. I will never do business with Rodeo or Earnhardt again. read more

We walked in at Rodeo Ford and checked out a Subaru for sale. We were greeted by Scott Griffith and asked us if we want to test drive Forester and I did. During the car drive he made us comfortable by breaking the silence talking to us like regular people. I know in back of my mind The Forester was the car I like.
