We came for Saturday brunch and we had a nice time. The restaurant wasn't packed so we received great service and took our time enjoying the food. I made reservations so when we came in, we were greeted by 2 nice staff who brought us to our table and then minutes after, our waitress came and explained to us 2 menu choices which are: 1.) Salad bar only (no meat) for $17.99 2.) Full Rodizio (unlimited meat) for $29.99 These are brunch pricing, dinner prices are different. We ordered the full rodizio so we got unlimited meat, full access to the salad bar, never ending sides brought at out table and i thought it was nice that for brunch they had additional waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, biscuit and gravy and sausage. And i have to say this, waffles are the best! You have to try them! There were only 2 Gauchos bringing meats to our table the whole time we were there but they made sure we got all the meat we would want to have. Meats were flavorful, we had variety of steak, chicken and pork and they were all good. The grilled pineapple is truly a must try! As for the salad bar, choices are plentiful! From pasta salad, seafood salad, veggie salad, name it all, they have it. They also have tons of cheeses to choose from and even serve soup of the day. You will really get your money's worth in this restaurant. So many food to choose from, you will never go home hungry! read more

The Main attraction for which the restaurant is know for is the great selection of meats. My group of 5 tastes varied from Well Done to Very Rare. This place is a hidden gem! We were here with a party of 14 and the restaurant didn't disappoint! Once seated we were greeted immediately by Zac our waiter-he was wonderful! Lauren was the bartender and her drinks were on point. The concept is to turn the apparatus to Red when you want them to stop or Green for go. There were many options coming our way. This is a similar to Fogo de Chao so just imagine what the ambiance is like, however their steak was seasoned. The lamb was tender and plentiful, the spicy grilled pineapple were delicious. As a avid Brazilian steakhouse lover, I visited Rodizio to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was closer to home and I had been wanting to try it. Unfortunately, it was kinda underwhelming. Let's start with the positives: the price was reasonable, the salad bar was nice with unique sides, and the service staff was hospitable. Now with the not so positives: the meat was under seasoned; the gauchos kept serving rare meats and the variety was lacking. The one negative was their hostess, she wasn't dressed properly compared to the gauchos and waiters, her work shirt was worn as an oversized boyfriend shirt and she had on uggs. Brunch was a disappointment. We tried brunch yesterday and were less than impressed (especially for the price). The breakfast options were a bit meager and not so good (eggs were overcooked, biscuits were undercooked, the pancakes looked 'raggedy') with no option for fresh cooked eggs. The hot dishes (I was really looking forward to fejoida and assado) were likely leftover from the day before and reheated. The sausages and meat in the fejoida were 'mushy' and the beans did not have much texture. The grilled meats were just okay. The best selection was either the parmesan or garlic beef (only thing with flavor). The salads were fresh and tasty though -- the seafood salad had a light dressing and was full of nice crispy veg and plenty of seafood. We tried 3 selections for dessert --- the creme brulee, their version of flan, and the acai sorbet crunch. The sorbet was outstanding! the creme tasted good but was not 'bruleed'. We regularly frequent Fogo Chao in Baltimore & a friend suggested we try Rodizio for a different experience. We attended Brunch, post-Covid, when the restaurant opened at 'half capacity'. New rules: no buffet bar- but instead we were given menus with all the options staff had to bring out sides as we wanted. Overall, the brunch was reasonably priced (we used a BOGO Birthday coupon) (but without the coupon the cost for 2 people was comparable to one person at Fogo). This reasonable price does mean less exciting options as sides. We had options of typical rice, beans, eggs, salads, delicious solid sides-but nothing to WOW us with a Brazilian flare. As for the meats, they have a plethora of delicious options-with yummy rare, medium, well-done cut options for a few. Most notable: spicy sausage, top sirloin, and garlic pork. We also really loved the grilled pineapple to pair with the meats. The service was delightful; maybe it was just the minimal capacity of the restaurant, but we had a great opportunity to socialize with the staff, asking about their experience carving, their favorite meats & combos; each meat serving was a fun chance to chat. And they came around very frequently, even asking if we had special requests. A good dining experience. Doesn't top Fogo overall, but it is a great cheaper, reliable, brunch option. read more

Where to start. Well cutting to the end first, then I will fill you in. NEITHER MYSELF NOR MY FAMILY WILL EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Here is what occurred. On a 7:00 dinner reservation, it took 25 minutes and 2 reminders to the hostess, we finally got seated. We did not see our server for a good 10 minutes. Drinks took another 20 minutes and 3 reminders to get the drinks. So service was horrid to say the least. On to the food. The salad bar was laden with dirty and wet plates. The food itself was bland and languid. The ceviche was basically mushy white fish and overcooked shrimp. There were no cold cuts and only cube pieces of cheese. No salmon or any smoked fish. Honestly, think Golden Corral. The meats were offered sporadically...we waited a full half an hour before we were offered anything. It was bland, chewy and undercooked, and coated with parmesan as opposed to seasoned with a nice, patina of carmelized parmesan. At this point, the birthday dinner was basically ruined. I asked to see the manager...even that was a wait. After explaining our issues, I asked for the bill but indicated since we only had one round of meat, we would appreciate a discount. The manager then offered a one meal discount, which was already part of the birthday package. So no actual discount. I pointed that out, he got upset with even though I was calm and even tempered, told me and my family to get out, and said "I was banned for life." Being banned on my Birthday was actually the best part of my evening. As indicated, even if this ban is lifted, I shall never set foot in this restaurant which is adjacent to the Mall Food Court. Seeing the youth fight right outside the door was the cherry on top to an epically awful experience. And to Paul F., you need not reply with your robotic answer that you regurgitate out. So this is a harder review to do. Went to this place for my Wife's birthday 10/29. We didn't want to go all out and needed to be in the Annapolis area. We went here, the customer service was great and the food was not bad. BUT, we definitely got food poisoning about 7 to 8 hours after eating, spent the whole night using the bathroom multiple times. We did not eat anything else AFTER this place as we were full, and did not eat anything BEFORE as we did not want to fill up. Nothing tasted funny or smelled bad either. So I give 1 star for the waiter Josh giving great service and 1 star for the food tasting ok. I kinda want to give it just 1 star since we got food poisoning. This place is a gem! I've been searching for a Brazilian steakhouse on this side of Baltimore, and this recently opened in late 2019. What a heck of a time to open up a restaurant, with everyone freaking out over COVID-19. The place was as packed as it could be. Guests are appropriately spaced apart for maximum "safety". They also don't allow guests to approach the salad bar. Instead, they bring everything to you. As a result its the perfect buffet. My daughter called it a "walking buffet", because all the food comes to you! The meat selection is incredibly delicious. My other daughter touted it as the best meat she's ever eaten. The service is FAST, to the point that your beverage almost never gets empty. The desserts looked delicious, but none of us were bold enough to try them. And finally, the prices were amazing. I'm used to $50 per person. This place is $40, and we happened to visit during a promotional period and paid $30 per per adult and $10 per kid! Let me start off by saying, I really hope this place lasts. I think it's high time we had a churrascaria in Annapolis, and I was stoked to see Rodizio moved in to the Mall. I'd experienced Rodizio before (honestly can't remember when), so I knew it was basically a lower priced version of the very upscale churrascaria models we're more used to. Still, it's all-you-can-eat meat! What's to go wrong there? Well, unfortunately, the beef quality is sub-par, and the cuts, while good, were nowhere close to other versions that I've experienced. The parmesan crusted beef was particularly unpleasant, being mostly gristle and fat. The picanha was very good, probably their best offering on the beef front. I do have to say, though, their other meat options were a surprise, maybe even better than higher priced versions! Not so much the marinated chicken or sweet-and-spicy, since these were unrecognizable cuts. Tasty, but strange. But, the bacon wrapped chicken breast was succulent and amazingly moist! Most of the time, these dry out due to overcooking to be on the safe side. Here, though, they perfectly nailed the timing, and the cuts were still quite moist and really flavorful. I also preferred the sausages here, and their lombo (parmesan crusted pork loin) is also bacon wrapped! Win-win! I also found their lamb to be far leaner than most others I've tried. By the way, if you have a brave palette, try the chicken hearts. They were actually delicious. Okay, so, that's the meats. Not going to mention much about the salad bar, since it was okay (not rave-worthy, but decent), and I didn't get to try much on it. Sparser than others (Fogo...), but still tasty. Their pao left a LOT to be desired. The drinks were decent, though they took forever to arrive. We only ordered two (each) the entire evening, but the second round got to us as we were just finishing up. Hire more bartenders. The service overall... very mixed. Our waitress (Desiree, I think) was really good. She was super friendly, on top of her game, and visited us fairly regularly. The gauchos were, for the most part, amazing. I'm speaking of the guys who bring the meat on swords, by the way. I think the biggest issue was lack of staff. I don't know if they're trying to skate by on a skeleton crew or if folks called off or what, but it felt like there were missing people that night. It just felt off. We weren't ever really wanting for meat or anything, but drinks, even non-alcoholic, were hard to come by. Overall, it's definitely worth it both as a primer for higher priced churrascarias or to satisfy a craving for one. I'd totally go back for the lombo and chicken. These were clearly the winners here. First the hostess was clearly overwhelmed because she had several walk ins at lunch time while the restaurant was empty she made us all sit and wait while she disappeared...the manager arrived and had everyone seated within minutes... our server Kayleigh started out fine but once we asked for the check we explained all the meats were rare while we had inquired about medium or well her response was you should have asked for it they could have brought it to you .... Uh no you didn't tell us that and we asked the people with the meat and they said no .... We told her it was our first time if there was information to relay she should have done it when we told her it was our first time ..... the ham and pineapple was delicious...also there was only 3 sides and breakfast foods ...I clearly won't be back and feel bad for anyone that does go there...please listen to the other reviews the wait staff is very young minus the manager and one other woman . Im writing this review with the context that the only other Brazilian steakhouse I've ever been to is Fogo de Chao, but who wants to drive all the way to Baltimore when you have the newly opened Rodizio Grill right in your backyard? Pros: The parking situation is way better than Fogo in Baltimore. The price of the meal was also less (if I am remembering correctly), although Fogo sends out coupons quite frequently on their mailing list. The meats at Rodizio are good! I think I only had one thing that I felt was too dry. Pro or con: The ambience is more casual than Fogo. For me that's a pro bc I hate super fancy places. Cons: Service still has its kinks... it took about 10 min for our server to greet us. Right as we were about to leave to go to Red Robin next door, she finally showed up. You could tell which of the meat carvers were new to the job by how well /confidently they cut the meat. The meat carvers were all very nice though. The salad bar is not as nice as Rodizio. I'd be more willing to just do a salad bar meal at Fogo. Overall, really enjoyed my visit! Will come back for our next special occasion. read more

The Annapolis location is located inside a mall. Not sure if it's solely due to COVID but parking was plentiful around the area and the restaurant has an external entryway that is brightly lit and easy to find. I chose this location to dine out on Veteran's Day, primarily due to the fantastic offering of veterans eating free with a paid similar meal. With that said, be sure to have some proof of being a veteran but they accepted the MD driver's license with the veteran's stamp. The salad bar is a bit smaller and has fewer items than Texas de Brazil (chain) and Estancia (Austin). Additionally, they do not have sides. Price is comparable to those to, as dinner is $19.99 just for salad bar, and $42.99 for churrascaria (meats (usually) open fire cooked on a long skewer). These types of places have two types of servers, the waiters, who handle the drinks and bill and the guys that bring the churrascaria around. Instead of the typical cardboard cards that most locations have, with two sides, green to indicate bring more meats and red meaning no mas, it had a wooden dumbbell that had one side painted red and one side painted green with the waiter maintaining control of the item (it was promptly removed from the table when we stated we were done). I am used to the meat offerings consisting primarily of beef (with several different cuts) however I noticed that this place only offered garlic steak (flank) and top round. Instead of bacon wrapped filet mignon it offered chicken portions wrapped in bacon. They had grilled pineapple as part of the churrascaria as well as tilapia, which when flame cooked, the exterior turns hard and crusty and not the tender baked goodness that you expect. They had lamb flank (no lamb chops) and grilled chicken (which includes a bone). Additionally, most places cook the meat slightly differently around the skewer to grant the most options for how well the meat is cooked, this place just cut in some pieces. Servers are also not mindful of two people eating as they sometimes ignored our green light and went straight for tables that had more patrons. Overall service is slow. We were done with the salad and had three meat slices before the drinks arrived. Additionally, we had long waits in between churrascaria offerings. When the waiter finally brought our bill, it did not include the veteran's discount. It took another 30 minutes or so to close out the bill. Water is not served promptly but brought around eventually. Overall, the atmosphere is on the brighter side, tables are smaller than expected, and no sides, such as the bread, mashed potatoes, and grilled plantains are served. I wouldn't recommend this place as there are better options available at similar prices. read more

No way this place stays in business for long. Came to celebrate a birthday and as a fan of Brazilian steak places, we thought this place would hit the spot. At the peak dinner time on Saturday, we should have gotten the hint since it was only maybe a third full. Before we ordered, we toured the salad bar, and it was actually not bad, and we thought with meat, it was justify the $45 price tag. I also joined their member's club which gets you a $15 off coupon of 2 full rodizio meals. Didn't notice at first, but when making my salad plate, the romaine was really wilted and already brown; not even sure how they can even put this out looking that bad. There were a few good things on the bar: collard greens, rice/beans, cheese bread, marinated mushrooms, and fried bananas. But, we really came here for the meat, and once they started slicing, you could see why this place won't make it. With the exception of picanha, everything else was so overcooked and not very flavorful. Meats aren't marinated thoroughly and too tough to eat. Even the fish was so overcooked, the edges were hard and crunchy. Even the grilled pineapple was ridiculous, one piece caramelized and overly sweet after brushed with honey and another than didn't have a glaze and really tart. They didn't have the grilled cheese squares like Fogo has, but they would probably screw that up too. A fantastic experience! Despite it being the day after Christmas, the weather was just warm enough that it was comfortable to dine outside. Since we were concerned about the potential sparse masking indoors, we had called about outdoor seating ahead of time when we made the reservation. They initially informed us that the patio was closed for the season, but to our surprise when we arrived to be seated they had prepared a table outside for us! After being seated it was a constant stream of delicious meats and tasty drinks! My spouse and I especially enjoyed the Parmesan beef, the pineapple, the sweet and spicy chicken, the herb roasted chicken, the lamb, and the chicken hearts. The Rodizio limeade was tangy, sweet and creamy--add strawberry to it! The cheesecake and creme brûlée was also a great way to end the whole experience. The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive--we never felt forgotten while on the patio. The price is absolutely reasonable for everything you get and the great service that goes with it. We took our son, and three of his buddies, here for his birthday. Our waiter was in training so it was a little bit bumpy in the beginning but overall he did a fine job. Getting refills on our sodas/waters was a little slow and having to wait for specific cuts of meat after asking multiple times got old pretty quickly. The salad bar had some impressive offerings and the variety of meat choices was extensive. However, the quality of the meat was not nearly as top notch Fogo De Chao In BaltimoreMD or Rioz in Myrtle Beach, SC. The servers were just going through the motions rather than playing the part of a gaucho like at the other restaurants. The most confusing part of the meal was the Red/Green block. We were only given one for the entire table (6 people) where as at other similar restaurants each diner is given a colored card or block which can be used to indicate if you want more meat. To top things off, the restaurant's internet went down so we ended up having to wait an additional 30min for them to manually run our card so we could settle the bill. In conclusion, although Rodizio was god and is slightly less expensive than Fogo we would rather pay the extra money to have better quality food and a more gaucho-like experience. read more

It's $42.99 for the full Rodizio experience (full access to all meats, the hot bar, and salad bar). It is expensive, but if you can eat your weight in steak, lamb, fish, and chicken, I'd say it's worth it. I really enjoyed the food from the salad bar, particularly the couscous, ceviche, beets, quail eggs, and seafood pasta salad. They also have a hot bar with various roasted veggies and even some comfort food for the picky eater (beef stroganoff, pasta, alfredo sauce) although I wouldn't recommend spending $29.99 if you're only going to eat penne alfredo. Also there's free fast WiFi if you ask! The food was very good although it's definitely on the saltier side and a couple cuts of meat (not chicken) were a little too rare for my liking. For the most part, I thought the food was excellent. It helps to have a little plate of salad and fresh veggies or fruit on the side throughout the course of dinner. We tried various forms of beef, lamb, chicken, and fish. My favorites were definitely the lamb and chicken but the parmesan and garlic beefs were good too. It's not like a typical all you can eat restaurant where they give you a menu and you order whatever you want. Instead, you flip this block to green when you want them to visit you and red when you don't, and they just walk by your table with a nice looking meat (or grilled pineapple) and ask if you'd like some. You can have as big or small a piece as you like and as many pieces as you like. They do not skimp on portions here. I guarantee you will leave FULL. The variety, flavor, and temperature of the food were all very good. The service was excellent. Our waitress and the host were very kind and attentive. Our waters never fell below halfway and we drank a lot of water. Everyone who offered us meat introduced themselves and said they could help us with anything we need. Super friendly staff overall and the restaurant itself seemed very well staffed. The atmosphere was nice as well. There's music in the background and it's not too loud or soft. The noise level inside the restaurant was less than average too. There's lots of indoor seating but some outdoor as well. The inside is well decorated, classy, and seemed very clean. Overall, very good experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. I really want to love this place but I can't anymore. This is my second time in here in nine days. The level of service we got tonight was really bad. We came in here for my birthday dinner. This was my favorite restaurant in the area. At one point I would pick this over Fogo because of the service. We were relegated to a corner and essentially ignored. When we made the reservation, we let them know it was for a birthday. The person who made the reservation is of Asian heritage. It seems as though they were not able to understand her when she made the reservation because they got the name wrong. Upon being abandoned in the corner, it took a while to get any beverages at the table and we had to remind them multiple times about it. The situation with the meats was worse. When you are in a Brazilian steakhouse, the expectation is that meats are going to come to your table and you will partake of all these exotic tastes. Normally, that would be the case here. There were two tables that were pretty much ignored though, us in the very corner and the table next to us. Initially, no meat made it to the table. We waited, and we waited a bit more and finally some stuff came to the table but it resembled a little more than scraps they had been to all the other tables before getting to us. After going through this for about 20 minutes, where are either nothing was coming or very little was coming, I finally went up and talk to the manager. That resulted in nothing changing so then I talk to somebody else. I then talked to two more people and then we had a period of about 10 minutes where meats came out to the table. Then it stopped. Eventually, a waitress came to our table! She asked if everything was OK. I've been sitting there with an empty plate we're about five minutes that point. She said she would have food brought out. Nothing happened. A different manager came by and asked how are experience was to which I replied dismal. This did finally get some meats coming out to the table. We had been there for over 90 minutes and we were done and ready for the check. We let our waitress know for the second time about a birthday voucher for a buy one get one free meal to be used within 14 days of my birthday. They did not adjust the check. This was not surprising. We had to go up yet again and have something addressed, the check being incorrect. Finally we were able to pay and get out of there. Below is a quick summary of the experience: We were shoved in a dark corner, we got very poor service, the check was wrong and at no point did we even get offered refills on beverages. My previous review of this place was a four star rating. To come to my new overall rating of two stars, this experience was below a one. We're glad to have a Brazilian churrasco restaurant near us! We go often, so were eager to give Rodizio a try. Servers were friendly and there were a good variety of meats on the menu. Some I haven't always seen at other restaurants included Swai fish, chicken hearts, glazed ham, pernil, and spicy chicken. We also loved the fresh pineapple. They were not refilled while we were there. The salad bar was decent but not what we were there for. Almost all of the meat was extremely underseasoned. The beef all tasted the same. Some of the meat served was raw. I prefer rare meat and if I find it raw believe me it was still moo-ing. Brunch was reasonably priced for a Brazilian steakhouse, but still not worth the money if this is the quality of the food. I would rather pay full price at Fogo De Chao. read more

This is your standard Brazilian steakhouse. The servers are polite. The meat is decent and the sides adequate. It doesn't measure up to Fogo de Chao, and my opinion is based upon the flavor and temperature of the meat. Still, it's a great experience if you're looking to go hard on the protein. read more

I have been here a few times since they reopened from covid. Everytime I come the service is great! The manager Justin stopped by my table and asked how everything was and he was very polite. Annapolis Location We celebrated my brothers birthday on Sunday, September 4th. The Food was great! The meats kept coming out, you name it, from Sirloin to Filet mignon, fish, chicken, and a great salad bar. The chimichuri sauce was excellent with the meats and lamb. Everyone was well fed and the meats were well seasoned. We plan on revisiting. We also celebrated my sisters birthday at the same place and then decided to celebrate my brother's birthday here. Love the waitress and waitresses, they were great. Luv luv the birthday song for my brother. We all enjoyed our time and it was well spent. The ambiance was great, great location and parking was easy. We plan on coming over for the next holiday. read more

First of all, the service we received was excellent from start to finish. We had a wonderful meal and everyone working was incredibly attentive. Regarding the food, I found it to be a little too salty but that's personal preference. Additionally the meat had very strong flavor from the garlic and Parmesan marinades, it was a little over powering for me. The salad bar and hot sides were well stocked and the experience was fun. I and my wife invited our son and his wife as well as our sister-in-law to dinner to celebrate the ladies birthdays. Reservation was made for 7:00 PM and we were seated immediately. We all ordered a round of drinks prior to tackling the salad and sides buffet. The selection was adequate, but not as large as I have experienced at other Brazilian themed steak houses. The waiter was helpful explaining how to use the marker as to get the attention of the meat servers. As to the service I must say I was very disappointed. The restaurant was not very full yet it took more than a few minutes before the first meat server got to our table, we actually finished our salads and sides before anyone came. When they did come they offered no more than a small slice of whatever protein they served. The service was extremely slow since I finished the portion before the server had left the table. The meats were very well presented and the flavors were extraordinary, but the selection of meats seemed to be lacking compared with other Brazilian style grills. I requested Filet Mignon and was told it was being prepared at that time. 45 mins. Still a no show. We decided to move on to desert. They brought several offerings of cheese cake, as well as house specials which everyone ordered. This feature comes at a hefty price of which I was not aware. They had a happy hour from 5:00 to 8:00 according to the website however ours all came priced as posted on the cocktail menu. The ambience was similar as compared to other establishments nothing special. A 20% tip was automatically added to the bill since we were a party of 5 Total for entire bill $440.00 P.S. They did sing a BD song This may have been a bad night but I will not be returning. There way too many great restaurants in Annapolis. read more
