This was my first time visiting this location. I usually go to the Fogo de Chão in Broomfield/Denver, which is much larger, so this one definitely felt smaller in comparison. We had reservations and were seated right away. Just like other Brazilian steakhouses, they walk around with all kinds of meats--steak, lamb, pork, chicken, and sausages. They also have a salad bar with plenty of toppings, two types of lettuce, and several dressings. I started with the salad bar, and honestly, my salad was phenomenal. The ranch was delicious, and everything tasted really fresh. I didn't try the hot items. They brought out the appetizer plate with Brazilian cheese bread, the little fried "fry stick" thing, and plantains. The cheese bread was amazing--just as good as the location I normally go to. The fry stick was okay but didn't have much flavor, and the plantains were disappointing. They're supposed to be sweet with cinnamon and sugar, but these were bland and dry. As for the meats, my favorite was definitely the bacon-wrapped chicken--it was juicy and had great flavor. I tried the lamb, but it was very gamey, and most of the beef cuts didn't have much seasoning, so they were a bit underwhelming. Overall, it was an okay experience. Salad bar is pretty solid nothing crazy, don't get too excited though and load up your plate at the beginning of the salad bar because the good stuff is at the end. But anyways, let's get to the real meal. The meat. Boy oh boy what can I say they brought out every type of steak and chicken and even some lamb and all of it was gas. For 59.00 I should have been full leaving but teeny tiny pieces of meat (like 1"long ) all sides were gone immediately and it took 30 more minutes to get hot sides like potatoes. Then we go to pay with a gift card that we won at auction and we were told the manager does not accept coupons or gift cards on Father's Day . I showed the waitress the envelope the gift card was in that said "Fathers Day dinner gift card". She said I am sorry but we will not accept it. I will never recommend this business to anyone ever! There are only food 2 prices (but drinks and deserts are extra): $50 for meat and salad bar. $35 for "just" the salad bar (this 50 foot long salad bar is likely somewhat vegan worthy and the hot items at the right end will make you happy without springing for the meat price). Swords with various meats are regularly brought to your table to carve off right to your plate. Intriguing drink list too! Nice selection of wines by glass or bottle. We had the absolute best restaurant experience of our lives at Rodizio Grill in Fort Collins on Monday night. When we arrived, the GM, Tristan, greeted us at the host podium. I mentioned we were celebrating my birthday and joked that it should be made a holiday so we could get their magnificent bacon-wrapped dates (normally only served on holidays). Tristan told us to let him know next year, and he'd personally bring some in so the kitchen could prepare them for us. About 30 minutes later, a gaucho appeared at our table with a skewer of bacon-wrapped dates made just for us. Tristan had actually run to Whole Foods, bought dates, and had the kitchen prepare them. I was floored. I thanked him profusely and gave him all the cash I had on me -- wishing I'd had more. Our server, Dawson, was equally fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and on point all evening. I called ahead to sign up for the Rodizio Club. Tristan was super friendly, efficient, and accommodating. He made a note on my reservation to accept my "rewards" coupon even though I hadn't been *officially* added to the Rodizio Club in time for my visit to the restaurant. Our server, Kiera, mentioned that she had seen the note, and she got us all taken care of! Every staff member we interacted with was upbeat and nice. The meat is very good, and the "gauchos" come around frequently. The salad and side bar was just okay. Delicious food and varied salad buffet bar. Also, one of the unexpected highlights was the customer service. We don't go often to Fort Collins and it was a pleasant experience to see such young staff provide customer service this high. It's a college town but compared to Denver, we felt we were treated way better. They really deserved to be well tipped. So, kudos to Rodizio but also to the rest of the city. The only reason why I'm giving a 4-star review is because although the ambience, cleanliness of the bar and dining area was very good, the bathroom not so much. It was not well kept and seemed "forgotten." As if it had not been cleaned since the day before, including the smell. Had dinner here with my family. Made a reservation in a Saturday night. It was ok, but expensive for the quality. We have visitors legitimate Brazilian steakhouses in various places so we're excited to see one in Ft Collins. Maybe this is a chain. Haven't bothered to research, it's definitely not an authentic Brazilian steakhouse. The $50 charge per person was not surprising but the $50 per person was not worth the quality of food they are serving. Salad bar is good, but we weren't going for salad! Some of the meats were dry. We were not offered all of the meats listed on the menu. And when we received the bill we're surprised to see a $5 charge for using a credit card. That's a new one! read more

I was a little disappointed by the service and the ambiance of Rodizio! I have been to this restaurant one other time previously and they were really playing music nicely. It's the whole reason why we went in on Friday night. For the music and ambiance, which was just overall lacking. The staff was very friendly though and their buffet style sides were delicious as always. I was just disappointed that there was no music and the meat options this time around weren't as tasty as the first time I visited. I also mentioned that it was my moms birthday a few times to the wait staff and it was just overlooked but other guests were sing happy birthday to. All the servers were diligent in coming over with medium rare cuts as they got to know our preferences. Loved that grilled vegetables were also offered. Other non-meat items were fish as well as chicken hearts. Too full to attempt dessert so that was a takeout. The tiny table for two was a little challenging with glasses and wine glasses. I felt that the waitress could have offered us clean plates but they were readily available at the salad bar. The salad bar is adequate, with a few hot meals like beef stroganoff. Considering it is the only AYCE Brazilian steakhouse here in Ft. Collins, it is pretty decent. They have an AYCE salad bar... And also those delicious cheese bread balls. They serve different cuts for lunch and dinner. But some of my favorites are at lunch anyway. Gotta get the picanha and the peppered steak. I had reserved a table to take advantage of the Fort Collins Great Plates dining week, but unfortunately the day of my reservation, they called and stated that their fire suppression system had gone off and would be closed for clean up. Fortunately for me, they said that they would still honor the dining deal at a later date. One week later, and our party of four made the trek to the restaurant and wanted the full meal deal (this was an additional cost of $10 we were willing to pay), but management said that we could experience everything for the lower price offering. SWEET! We usually drive all the way to Denver to visit Fogo De Chao, but no more! The salad bar offerings were plentiful and tasty, especially the shrimp ceviche dish! The meats were prepared exactly how I like it (rare, medium rare), and they were seasoned perfectly! They even had chicken hearts and fish (something Fogo De Chao doesn't offer). The grilled brown-sugar glazed pineapple was delicious between courses of meat, and the servers even remembered that our table liked our meat rare so they would bring those rare cuts to us specifically. The salad bar and cheese bread were good. I took my parents here for their 60th anniversary. I told the staff when making reservations and when I arrived that we were celebrating my parent's 60th Anniversary. They made no mention of it, nor did they provide a dessert acknowledging their anniversary, which all reputable resturant do. This was quite shocking, especially with the amount of money our party of 7 would spend there. Additionally, I was taken aback by some of the meat offerings they presented. They were offering hearts (organ meats) at a Brazilian style steak house. I was wondering if they were going to bring out gizzards and kidneys next. They did not offer filet mignon or ribeye. It seemed like they were trying to save money by offering rattlesneak with jalapeños and ham. For the price you pay at this restaurant they need to bring the best cuts. read more

We had a party of 13 eat here on Wednesday night June 21. The next day, half of us experienced severe diarrhea typically associated with food poisoning. I'm always very careful to not confuse causation with correlation but after much discussion we all agree the culprit was something we all ate at Rodizio in Fort Collins. To write I'm furious is an understatement. I'd add the salad portion of the salad bar featured anemic looking greens. The service was good during our dinner. We believe the culprit was the Elk, but obviously can not prove it. We love this place, been coming in for years, but the other night we were annoyed with how loud and how often the bday crew came out with a cucophony so loud we couldn't talk. The boys and I came here with empty bellies and left bloated and happy. The cooks had an 18 item rotation. All of the beef options were heavy and delicious. The chicken options were pretty good too. They had a spicy one covered in some sweet and sour sauce that was a little too soaked in the sauce but the bacon wrapped chicken was decadent. The pork options weren't my favorite. I suggest passing on the salad initially so you have enough room to fill up on the beef unless you really want to put down a small bed of spinach in your stomach for all that meat to lay on. To top it off we all got desserts. Pretty good but I wish I used the room I saved for more meat instead. Good experience all around. Advice: Take your time and use the little colored wood thing to your advantage. You control how much and when you eat. Don't get distracted by food you don't like just because they bring it out in front of you. You can choose to eat one meat if you want that is valid. I really love Brazilian food. But Rodízio grill left me a little disappointed. I was hoping it would be parallel to Fogo do Chão, Texas do Brasil or Porcão. The meats were good but not fantastic, some of it was so salty it was difficult to eat. The salad bar was good, but missing farofa for the feijoada. When I asked for it the staff was confused, but the cook knew and quickly made me a batch. No moqueca which is a Brazilian staple and made me a sad. The table service was excellent as was the pão de queijo and polenta. Drinks were good. I guess it's back to Rio for me. read more

Wish I could give this a 4.5 star rating.. Make sure to wear some stretchy pants. Took my husband here for his birthday dinner. He loves to eat meat, especially steak, so this was a big win! They start you off with unlimited appetizers; cheese balls, fried polenta with parmesan cheese, and fried cinnamon bananas. Right away they let you place your stand that allows servers to know you're ready for some meat. At first it started fast- we had people with giant meat skewers stopping at our table every 3-5 minutes offering something different. Unfortunately that only lasted for maybe 20 minutes and then it really slowed down to every 15-20 minutes before anyone would stop at our table. We never flipped our stand off of green until we were completely finished. Regardless, they had what seemed like 12-15 different meat options; sausage, chicken marinated in white wine, spicy orange chicken, lamb, boar, rabbit rattle snake, tri tip, Parmesan steak, garlic steak, venison, top sirloin, catfish, roasted pineapple, and grilled veggies. They also offered with this option unlimited salad bar trips, and unlimited hot sides. You truly cannot leave here without getting more than your money's worth. $40 for unlimited everything, excluding drinks. Highly recommend! read more

I came here a little over a month ago and I still think about how awful my experience was. The male server completely ignored my table even though they were not busy and he was clearly checking on the other three tables right next to me. The host ended up taking our drink order as we sat there for 15 mins with no service. I also had to ask another server for a straw after 20 mins of waiting. We never got refills on the cheese bread or drinks. He didn't offer a dessert although he still stood with a tray of desserts in his hand as he asked if we were ready for a check. I had no idea there was a Rodizio's in Fort Collins! It was a happy accident we found it because the restaurant we'd initially chosen to go to had a super long wait so we were looking for somewhere else to take my man for his birthday when lo and behold one of his FAVORITE restaurants pops up in my search results. We normally go to the location in downtown Denver, but we were so impressed by this location that we've decided we'd rather drive the extra distance to come here in the future when we're craving Rodizios (It takes about 1.5 hours to get there from where we live in Aurora but it can easily take an hour to get to the downtown location and find parking so the extra 30 minutes isn't that much of a stretch). Everything about this location was superior to the one in Denver from the fact that they have their own private parking lot to the smaller dining room yet larger salad bar to the fact that this location still brings the side dishes out fresh instead of offering cold cheesy rolls at the buffet table. The service was outstanding, too, which I haven't been able to say about the Denver location in quite some time. Thank you for making me a believer in Rodizio's again! read more
