Most of the meats we were served wound up going to waste because it was too chewy or too tough to eat. I and my husband decided to do Valentine's day early this year and we treated ourselves to a Brazilian Steakhouse. This was right down the street from us so it was very convenient. We arrived around 7 pm and had to wait only 20 minutes for a table. Our server was great and let us know about the place and rules. We got served all the best meats. And I don't know if this is mandatory to work there, but they had a lot of good-looking servers! Lol The sides were hit and miss but overall, not bad. This was a go to place for a good meal, rivaling Fogo... and Texas... However, the quality of the meats, this time around at Rodizio, seems to have deteriorated. First, chicken must have been on sale as every other server that came out was pushing their chicken varieties. Sausage was the next item coming out frequently, and then, the 5 or 6 varieties of the meats. Unfortunately, the varieties of meats that came out were all small serving portions, like they were left overs from previous servings that were cooked too well done and dry. Asking for medium rare or medium was a challenge for the server to find for us. The salad bar continues to be a good addition, but you really don't come to a place like this for the salad bar. The restaurant was not busy for a Saturday evening seating at 6pm. Is it because the quality and variety of the meats are starting to be on the "cheap" side? I've been to Rodizio a few times over the years, but we just went back for the first time since Covid. It's definitely filled with really great people. The meat servers were very attentive & friendly. They were joking around with us and the table next to us which made the experience great! The food, however, isn't how I remember it. I thought the meat cuts were mostly flavorless. Even though they were cooked to how I like at medium rare, they were tough and really needed to have something added to them. The only meat I really enjoyed was the lamb, which we only saw once. Pineapple is delicious, but that shouldn't be the thing that makes me most excited to see again. The buffet is pretty good with a lot of options. I really like how many options for a salad there are. Overall, I don't think the price tag per person is worth it. I'd rather spend the money on one really good meal at a restaurant that I know will come out flavorful. read more

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would! I was at a conference in Las Vegas this past weekend and took a party of 23 (one person couldn't make it) to this restaurant. We had 3 reservations for 3 tables if 8 each. They graciously put us all together in a back room in one long table seating 24! How wonderful! The food was OUTSTANDING! I even tried cooked chicken hearts on a dare, and ended up asking for seconds! Our waiter Miguel was super, as were all the servers, including the General Manager, who took a turn serving! We have been here several times. It's honestly hit or miss depending on the day. Within the past six months to a year something has changed here, and not for the better sadly. The last few times we have been here it has been very difficult to get the gauchos to come around and serve you. You often times have to ask your waiter to send them around. I'm not sure if it's a staffing problem or what. But it shouldn't take 6-12 months to fix staffing problems. The food itself is decent. You aren't getting the variety of hot sides, salad bar or meats that you do from the competition. Which would be fine if you weren't paying $48.99 pp plus tax. It's honestly worth closer to $35.99. For $36 pp they would be getting a higher review because the price would offset the issues. Unfortunately all the above has caused us not to come here as much as we did previously. Hopefully Rodizio can read the reviews and take action to get this place back on track. Locals will support places when the cost is equivalent to the food and service. read more

We went to Rodizio Grill for dinner today and everything was just great! This is a Brazilian Steakhouse located in Henderson, Nevada. The food was great and delicious (even to my vegetarian son with so many options beyond meat). Their service was excellent. I've only been to one other Churrascaria before this, so here's my take on it. When seated we were not provided plates, probably because of Covid? Spoke to manager, he said we could just ask for it. So there's that. The other churrascaria I've been to asked as we were seated, how we wanted our meat cooked, that way everything was brought to us that way, this place wasn't it. Other than that. The meat quality was decent, variety was minimal, maybe for the price it was okay. Chicken was a little on the salty side. This was our first time dining at Rodizio Grill and we were excited to have our Valentine's dinner there based on the good reviews. The restaurant was super loud with one screaming child (not the restaurant's fault) but that really set the tone for the rest of our experience. We waited about 15 minutes for the first round of meat to come around and we got chicken and pork offerings, but no steak. I did ask our server about rib eye or any steak and he said he would send someone over. We watched several types of steak being delivered to other tables, but we kept getting skipped but we did get some tri-tip and eventually some other type of steak (which was very good). Once we flipped our stop/go marker over, then all we saw coming out was all kinds of steak (NY Strip, garlic steak, etc) coming out, so I flipped the marker back to green and then the steaks stopped coming out. We were pretty disappointed at that point, so we paid the check and left. Next time we want a Brazilian steakhouse experience, we'll stick with Fogo de Chao. read more

I don't know if it's because of the unlimited meats and salad bar, or mostly the pao de quiejo (which is the main reason why I love going). There's always good variety of meats and their salad bar is also a good option. Vegetarians, good news! They have a good variety of options there too! I could probably just go with the salad bar if I wasn't in the mood for meat...which would be never. But I usually end up getting full because of the salad bar. Environment: A classy feeling establishment without the pressure of being too formal. Since it's connected to a mall, I don't feel the need to go in a cocktail dress, but it wouldn't be a bad place for a date! Also since it's connected to the mall, there's ample parking. Service: Staff is always very friendly and helpful. They explain everything if you've never been to a churrascaria before. Basically if you pay for the full churrascaria you get the meat and salad bar option. Everything is unlimited so you can pretty much get up to the salad bar whenever you'd like. The servers (also known as gauchos) roam around the restaurant with giant skewers and stop by each table. You have a wooden tool with green and red sides that you show whether or not you want them to stop by or skip your table. I appreciate that if you're looking for a certain type of meat or item they will make sure that it's made for you and will make a beeline for your table upon request. Tips: Try everything you can, they constantly rotate their menu with seasonal dishes or for events. Also, I know it sounds weird, but the chicken hearts? Phenomenal. We went here for date night on a Saturday thanks to a promotion they did for teachers. (How do you not automatically love a place that appreciates teachers?!) We had a reservation for 6pm and arrived just before six. We were greeted and then shown to our table. Immediately after being seated, we were greeted by our server, Luna. Luna explained to us all the goods such as how to make sure the meat keeps coming and the salad bar. We ordered drinks with her and they were delicious. I ordered the passion fruit martini and my boyfriend had the pina colada (no alcohol). They came prompt to us and were extremely fair priced ($12 each) for how large they were. We then just kept our little sign on green and had the meat keep coming. We both enjoyed the flank steak the most! This is a new location for a Brazilian steakhouse and I'm very grateful to have found it. The meal is $45 a person for unlimited for two hours!! We had a 6:30 reservation on July 14, 2024. It was not very busy at all. We were taken to our table immediately upon arrival. The hostess was friendly. The ambiance was nice, and I thought it might be good for a date night. Most of the meat tasted good. Almost all of the beef was rare to medium rare. That was great for me, but others might find it off-putting. There were a lot of fresh options in the salad bar. The sides were not very good and reminded me of the quality at Golden Corral. No one had a list of available meats, so we didn't know what options were available. Some of the meat servers were impatient and expected us to know what to do. It was our first visit. I was so excited to try it for my birthday, but the quality and service did not meet my expectations considering the price point.
