It was our first time at this location. We've eaten at other Brazilian steakhouses before and had great experiences, so we were excited to try this one since we're new to the area. Overall, it was just okay. The service was good, the sides were okay, but the biggest letdown was the meat... which is really the whole reason people eat here. Several cuts didn't have much flavor, and a couple were so undercooked they were rubbery and hard to eat. However, the grilled pineapple and the bacon-wrapped chicken were unexpected highlights. There were also a few issues with the space itself. The floors were really slick... my daughter and I both almost slipped more than once. The ladies' bathroom was out of soap and had a light out, so it was pretty dark. And on the way out, I scraped my hand on an exposed screw on the door. Without that incident, I likely would have given 4 stars... but with that happening, I just can't. I went back in and mentioned it to the host so hopefully it will be fixed. They did accommodate our family of five without a reservation, which we appreciated. We really wanted to love it, but based on this visit, we probably won't be back. read more

The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Pretty quiet and calm setting for dimmer. Meat rounds came by quickly and reasonable intervals. The meats were cooked well and had good taste. I liked how the sides and breads are at the side/salad bar and not something that is brought to your table and puts pressure on you to eat them and fill you up too soon. read more

Our server JAKE was superb!!! We typically enjoy Rodizio and this time was even better as I celebrated my birthday. The grilled Abacaxi pineapple is definitely one of my favorite pairing with any meat. The guava Limeade was refreshing with a flavor profile true to fresh gauvas. Awesome Brazilian steakhouse. They have great service and rotate through all their options quite regularly. The options are great and they ensure that they are giving prime cuts as well as that the gauchos know where the different preparations of steak are and are kind to give you as much as you wish. Once inside we were greeted but had to wait a minute for our table. Looking around I was nervous we were going to get the little side two person table. Those tables are way too small for the plates and silliness that was about to go down. I'm not a big girl but I need my elbow room for eating and not having to worry about taking out one of the meat gauchos. Overall my husband and I had a lovely dinner. The meat selection was good, some better flavors than others. More attention should be paid to offering temperature preference before just slicing a piece of meat. We did NOT try the chicken hearts...that was an odd offering. The stew selections as part of the salad bar were all a little dry. It feels like that's where the extra meet goes? The Mac and cheese, fried polenta and cheese rolls weee excellent. The wine selection is ok, that could be beefed (haha) up a little there in my opinion. The desserts I will say were abundant with lofty promises of "the best you've ever had". It's actually printed on the menu. The flan, that was golden syrup not real fresh made caramel because it was the same thing on the puff pastry dessert. Not a huge miss but was noticeable. We had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes. It was not crowded. When we finally got seated, we were told the rules and to help ourselves to the salad bar, there were no plates, we had to request them twice. Salad bar was good but it got so crowded due to waiting on plates. The meat came out and it was really good, the pineapple was tasty. Our server went home and we were handed off to a nice young lady. In this type of place you don't see your server frequently. We have no problem asking any server for drinks, etc. Overall it was good, until we got home and the bowels retaliated for both of us. Went there for dinner for the first time. Two options: one with meat and salad for $47 or just salad for $27. IMO it's a little pricey for what they offer. I'm originally from Northern VA and we have a few Brazilian bbq and the meat selection were much better. For example there were beef ribs and lamb chops but not at this location. The salad bar and sides were kind of skinny for $27 as well. I highly recommend making reservation if you're going peak times or the wait can be over an hour. Service was not bad. Meat kept coming around. If fact I still feel full this morning as I write this review. Drinks and dessert are also not included in the price which is another bummer. The atmosphere is festive, the staff is friendly & attentive to requests. They strive to make your dining experience highly enjoyable with great food (love the salad bar, variety of choices). Always good and quality is consistent. My only disappointment when they decided to be reservations only and no walk-ins. It took me almost a year to go back. I did made reservations this time. I don't know if it's the same (reservations only), if so they need welcome back walk in diners again because their parking lot was pretty empty. It would be sad if this business closes in Pensacola. I hope not. However, I noticed their brunch prices almost doubled that is not a good sign. From what I remember lunch/brunch was $18. It is now $32. I use to come here for lunch when I use to work in downtown. Dinner prices pretty much stayed the same. This is not a criticism but expressing concern that this restaurant may be in trouble. Please please... continue to dine here. This is a great Brazilian option in Pensacola. The service and quality is still consistent. It's a great experience and your kids will enjoy it. read more

We called in 30min before arriving with a party of 4 and we were told it would take 45min to sit us. We got there and sat at the bar and stayed there for 15min and they still hadn't seated us so my wife went to get a plate of food while we waited. There was an empty table since we sat at the bar and I just told my wife to sit there and I'd accompany her. My wife asked a waiter if she could sit at the table and the waiter just nodded and walked away. 5min later, a waitress by the name of Celina came storming out of the hallway and she was furious. She started yelling at us for sitting down at the table and spoke to us as if we were little kids. Extremely rude and unprofessional, I had never encountered such an awful waitress. She then preceded to tell us we can stay at the table and so we went to serve our food at the food bar. Celina never brought us silverware or the tongs for the meat, we had to ask another waiter for silverware and then again for the tongs and then Celina never took the plates on our table. We had to stack the plates on top of each other since no one came to take the plates even though they clearly saw they needed to be taken. Again, I had to ask a waiter to please take the plates. Overall, the food was good and the restaurant was clean but the experience was awful and we felt unwelcome from the first moment we came in. Shane, Ben, Ethan, Lyndsi. Had a fantastic experience at Rodizzio's. Food was excellent and Shane, Ethan, and Ben were courteous and quick with all of the options. They even worked together to make sure we got the bacon wrapped cheese! (Get it, you need to try it.) Lyndsi was always there to fill our drinks and tried very hard to send us home with a dessert, but if we got anymore all four of them would have had to roll us out to the parking lot. 5 out of 5. She was everything you want in a great server -- super attentive, upbeat, and genuinely fun to talk to. All of the staff is friendly and attentive, but Madeline goes the extra mile. I've been to a lot of Brazilian steakhouses, and Rodizio is easily one of my favorites. Oftentimes the hors d'oeuvre and salad bar steal the spotlight, but here, the meat speaks for itself. The Picanha practically melts in your mouth -- you could cut it with a spoon! And don't even get me started on the parmesan sirloin... it's like crack in beef form (I've tried to duplicate it at home with zero success). The bacon-wrapped ham is perfectly glazed and absolutely divine when paired with the grilled pineapple. - Pro tip: grab a cheese roll and make yourself a tiny slider with the two. Madeline, our waitress, had excellent customer service skills and also was very courteous in her conversation. Shane and Lucas, our gauchos, were very attentive and bring our meats coming fast. Went with my family for my daughter's graduation (party of 7). Our server was inattentive; drinks were not refilled and plates were not cleared without us asking. The variety of meats were underwhelming and food items at the salad bar took WAY too long to be replenished. Just ate here this evening & it was extremely dissatisfying for a cost over $200. Reservations at 6:45 pm, called ahead to inform them of a delay, but still arrived at 6:53pm and wasn't seated until 7:20 pm with no explanation of why. The hot buffet bar looked worse than Golden Corral on their worst day: runny "instant" mashed potatoes, & all cooked food items on that bar were lukewarm at best and poorly prepared. Sidney, our waitress was inattentive. They didn't remove the used plates from our table for quite a while even after we asked & they showed no real acknowledgement or apologies, but showed agitation. Especially, the servers with the skewed meats had the same demeanor slicing meat with tip of the blade pointed towards you in a rapid manner. Also, I had to go order our own cocktails from the bar, but Ryan(the bartender) brought them to our table & his good altitude & helpfulness was the best part of the experience. At the end, it took forever for Sidney to visit my table so I could ask for the bill & then that was the quickest she ever responded when she knew we were leaving. I asked for the manager, then she said, "I can't find her". I'm here to tell you this place is great. Especially the garlic Parmesan beef. The experience here is typical Brazilian Steakhouse. The cost is cheaper than other chains at (don't quote me) around $36. Service was great and the garlic Parmesan beef was phenomenal. Like really phenomenal. If I'm ever in a town where there's a location, I guarantee I'll be there. PS. If it's your birthday they'll sing. Nearly everyone in the restaurant had a birthday when my work group was there. PPS. There are a lot of restaurants here that will give you an actual plate of food, that are very good and when it's your birthday, they give you a desert, not charge you extra.
