I ended up getting the buffalo chicken wings just because I wanted something made fresh. The pizza special would've been good, but the pizza didn't look like I was going to be impressed. I went at lunchtime and there was no wait. Don't worry about the cigar shop next-door. You can't smell it once you're inside the pizza place. The wings tasted exactly how you want buffalo wings to taste. I'd go back.

I've ordered from this restaurant a few times before and today I had an issue with my uber driver but the costumer service from an employee named Leslie was top tier. She called to inform me details over my order and then proceeded to remake my order for it to get to me fresh. Great customer service is hard no a days and she deserves all the recognition for being such an amazing person! Thank you Leslie she deserves all the tips and a raise!

We may have found our new Pizza delivery. I had ribeye steaks ready to go but had a hankering for pizza. it was pretty close to 8:00 p.m. and Roger's is open til 10:00. I called and they were very nice on the phone and said no problem we can still deliver. FYI, there is a delivery minimum ($45.00) which is fine, considering the price of everything. This way I was able to try the family deal which was a pizza, wings and a liter of coke. I added a cesar to hit the minimum I think we received delivery just about 1/2 hour (but remember this was late.) They have a special white pizza which we kicked up a notch w pepperoni. Why not! ;) BBQ wings were the choice versus buffalo and they were very tasty. the pizza was thin crust and cooked perfectly, lots of pepperoni. I really liked the cesar and it's all about the dressing. Can't wait for round two in the near future.

Roger's Pizzerolo has a new address! They are not located in Rancho San Diego, East County. What I LOVE about this place is that they are family owned and offer a variety of pizza by the slice. Their relocation to Ranchos San Diego is a great thing for East County. Roger's offers New York Style pizzas, sandwiches, calzones, salads, and crispy wings. They offer family packs and offer prices of large orders and events. You will often find Roger, the owner making pizzas in the back, and his 19 year old daughter in the front taking orders and such. They are situated in the strip mall that houses The Habit Grill and Sahara Taste of the Middle East. The place is very casual and offer a good amount of inside seating.

Pizza obviously had been sitting for quite a while. Service was fine but not particularly friendly. Zero ambiance. There are way better places for pizza in san diego. Brought my parents here for a late dinner on a weekend. We ordered a Spinach Ricotta Pizza, Buffalo Wings, and Cheese Bread with Marinara. Spinach Ricotta Pizza: This was delightful! One of the best white pizzas I've ever had. The spinach on the pizza still had a good texture, unlike how spinach on pizza is typically charred or soggy. The ricotta was also really fresh. Highly recommend! Buffalo Wings: Personally not a fan of chicken so I didn't have much, but my parents loved this dish! They said the sauce was the perfect mix of tangy, salty, and spicy and the chicken was moist. Cheese bread with Marinara: Not super special but still a really solid dish! I kept this for lunch the next day and it was delicious. The owner is so friendly and personally checked on us during the meal. The other workers were also really nice, and the inside of this store is very clean. A must try if you are in the area!

I don't know what this is but it's not the chicken pesto I ordered.

First timers, craving for pizza and decided to try this new spot out. We got the Party pizza 18". Close to being a supreme with shrooms, roni, sausage, onions, bell peppers. It was delicious! It's thin crust but it has a good texture and crunch. The pizza isn't greasy nor too salty like many other places. Actually the wifey boldly said this is now one of her top pizza joints. She loves how it didn't grease up your hands or the paper plates and heating up in the oven in air bake mode made it taste just like we bought it fresh! Heard a lot about the pasta from other reviews so we will try that next. Glad to have found a great NY style thin crust spot right down the street from us. read more

My husband saw the menu of this place, with its Caprese salad sandwich, and he got very excited, remembering all Capreses we ate on our honeymoon in Italy. I wasn't sure about a pizza place, since I don't eat gluten, and they didn't have vegan cheese. But like the devoted wife I am, I sucked it up and figured I could get a pesto gluten-free pizza without cheese. When we entered, Roger came over and gave us a free order of appetizers, since it was our first time. He told us his immigrant success story. My husband and I really enjoyed his hospitality, and the food was great--very fresh and delicious. My husband felt the sandwich was made with a lot of love. The delicious gluten-free pizza was enormous but very thin crusted, which I enjoyed. They topped it very generously with plump sausage and pineapple. I did not miss the cheese. We wish Roger all success and encourage the community to enjoy this new gem. read more

I do not live in this area, I just happened to be house sitting for a friend. Was craving pizza and with Rogers being down the street, I decided to give this place a go. Let me just say, I will from now on drive all the way from the other side of town to eat this pizza moving forward. Absolutely delicious. 10/10 read more

Favorite pizza place in the neighborhood! Pizza is great, and I like that they offer by the slice as well. Even better though is their customer service and ownership! The pizza was perfect with a crispy crust, sweet pizza sauce and good amount of cheese and toppings. The Caesar salad was excellent with fresh croutons and lots of Parmesan cheese. The meatballs were really good. We are hoping they are able to sell beer soon, then it would be perfection! A family operation with great service. read more

I love this place my mom works near here and we always go and take some pizza for the way home, they aren't very flashy with their restaurant but that's what makes it better it isn't at all like the big pizza chain restaurants but it's better. I LOVE THIS PLACE read more

AMAZING PIZZA! I'm from New York, and it is so hard to find good pizza in San Diego, or anywhere outside of New York! My husband and I used to come to the pizzeria that was here before, and when they closed we were super upset. We came here today and tried the pizza, and holy s**t, it was so good! One of the best pizza shops in town! The taste you expect everywhere but rarely find. Bronx used to be this good. Local family business, not a chain. I think I'm in love!!!! New fav italian place. I have been hunting for garlic knots as good as the one from my home town and these are GREAT! I got garlic knots, the vodka pasta, and a pepperoni pizza slice and every single thing was great. AND the ranch is good too which is a huge bonus! A true New York style pizzeria in the neighborhood!! We came in today and had the 2-slice meat lover special with a drink and was it was super tasty and a great value. We've always seen it and it looks like no big deal on the outside and once inside same thing. Simple, clean and functional! HOWEVER, the food and the service were some of the best I've had in a while. The server we had was hilarious and incredibly helpful and attentive. And I know this will sound outrageous to some but they are serving up some of the best pizza in town. Like seriously! The crispy and crunchy crust, the toppings and cheese perfectly balanced. I absolutely love their Chicken Pesto pizza! 100/10! I will say this place is easy to miss and incredibly unsuspecting but it has easily become one of our favorites for a pizza night or some comfort pasta dish. Nothing fancy just plain and simple delicious food. Give it a try! You just might like it!

She took the liberty to box it herself and while she was doing so I asked her to please include the two spats of wrapped butter she had given me with the bread. She gave me a strange look and hucked them in the bag at least I thought she had. She actually hucked them INSIDE of the box where my lasagna was! How disgusting to throw the wrapped butter on top of my lasagna. Disrespectful and mean. While she hucked it I remember her glaring at me with a cruel look on her face but I brushed it off and cut her slack. Wow. So disappointing will definitely not be visiting this location again anytime soon! I did order a seafood linguine to go dropped $50 plus hope they appreciate my business!

We have found ourselves very irritable at lunchtime in our office because we have been ordering the same old lunches for years...one of us for 24 years! We sent one of the owners of the company I work for out on a mission to find new lunch spots. This is how we found Dolci! We ordered 6 different items to share so that we could try several items. Grande Lasagna Bolognese, Americana Pizza, Italian Fest Panini, Fettuccine Cartoccio, Dolci Chicken Mac & Cheese and Penne Michealangelo. Every single item was so delicious. The flavors were rich and the portions were generous! It gave the feeling of FINALLY being satisfied with lunch which we have not had in a very long time! We all agreed we needed a nap after lunch because we stuffed ourselves in the most gluttonous manner! The only problem is that we were so stuffed no one wanted to get back to work! We are very pleased with the quality of ingredients, the order being ready on time and even after driving 15-20 minutes back to the office the food was still hot! Thank you Dolci!
