Ordered this on Friday night off Uber eats because I needed something comforting for the family after a long week. The fettuccine with chicken was so good and so was the lasagna with meat sauce. My kids loved the mozzarella sticks with marinara. Everything came with garlic knots which was great! I also ordered cheesecake which was not good at all. It tasted like it's been in the freezer too long. We didn't eat the rest. It should be removed from the menu as the food shines bright enough. I am happy to have another tasty food establishment in the area. Pizzerolo offers New York style pizza that is some of the best I've had in San Diego. My wife and I got the BCR white pizza which was excellent. The caramelized onions were a great extra touch. We also got the garlic knots which were very tasty. One last thing that I appreciated was how nice the workers/owners were. They welcomed us and helped us make our selection. My only critique(and a small one at that), was the marinara that came with the knots. It could have used a bit more garlic or other seasoning. Pizza had a generous amount of toppings and spaghetti was super tasty. Have to mention, sauce is homemade! Wiped the bowl down w bread, no kidding. Thats how good it was. Service was sensational. Pineapple seemed kind of skimped on, ham had good flavor though. Again crust wasn't quite how I like it. Pizza overall 7/10 Wings - 6/10. Probably won't order wings again Garlic knots - 9/10 great flavor, great texture. Pasta - Spaghetti: 8/10 good bite, good sauce Chicken fettuccine alfredo. This is why we come here. Having lived all over Italy and we have tasted the best pizza from Naples to Venice to Milan to Florence we are super picky! Very pleasantly surprised. We had two pizza slices and a drink for under $10. They were cooked just the way we like them with the crust a bit crisp and seared. We bought spaghetti with meat sauce to bring home for dinner. The owner gave us a sample of a meatball that was delicious. He is an excellent chef and very friendly. We could have sat there another hour talking to Roger. Very interesting person. The place was immaculate including the bathroom. Now let's get to the food. We ate in. The food came piping hot and made fresh. We had pizza, hot wings , pasta and the chopped salad.
