Atmosphere: It's near a not so good area but as she mentioned if you're there before 6 you're fine. Parking was decent. I loved the inside of her salon. Very quaint and stylist! Service: I got there at 1 and waited 35 minutes because she was helping a rude customer. I felt bad for her because I can tell she really cared to help her and that she wanted to take her time with her. Overall, she was very nice and attentive. She kept things real and instead of coloring my hair (because I know it's damaged) she suggested I wait 5 months so it heals and recommended great products (mask, leave in conditioner, deep conditioning) and cut my hair and styled it. I purchased a Groupon for color, cut, and style but because she didn't color it she actually was kind enough to remind me to change the Groupon to just cut, style, and condition which was $20 cheaper. She really cares for her clients and given the unfortunate events of covid she has suffered with low intake of clients and a lot of clients be disrespectful and rude. I would totally go back to her. Highly suggest y'all read my review in full - I rarely ever give reviews unless I deem them absolutely necessary. Farzaneh (the owner) is an absolute artist and master of her craft. A huge plus is that she's also extremely friendly, intelligent, and caring - this has been one of the best hair experiences I've had EVER (and I don't say that lightly). The one 1-star review is a farce - they probably had a bad day and wanted to take it out on an innocent small business owner. She follows COVID guidelines to the T - masks on, one-customer at a time, sanitizes everything after every session. She washes/sanitizes hands before cutting (because gloves + cutting hair drastically affects hand dexterity and you'd end up with something no one would be happy with lol). I had a Groupon for cut, wash, and partial highlights. PROTIP: READ THE FINE DETAILS (Things You Should Know section on Groupon deal). I have long, dark hair and knew that there would be additional charges (as with any reputable salon). If you want great results, you need to have great, professional products (which is a huge cost to any salon). I knew what I was walking into - all additional fees are absolutely reasonable and necessary for small businesses such as Farzaneh's. This is your HAIR we're talking about. Do you want to cheap out and get a meh cut and style, or do you want to feel beautiful for 6+ months as soon as you walk out the session? I obviously chose the latter :) Went with her suggestions as the highlights were coming out orange due to my dark hair (and she didn't want to fry/damage my hair), so we pivoted and went with this cute pinkish/purple highlight. Purchased a groupon several months ago which sounded like a great deal, especially after reading the positive reviews. I was looking forward to trying out a new salon. After calling several times, leaving voicemails and finally sending several emails in an attempt to book an appointment, I still did not receive any response. I had to extend my groupon deal as it had expired, with no response whatsoever from the salon. It seems that they are too busy to either answer the phone or check their VM's or emails :-( I finally gave up and asked groupon for a refund, which I thankfully received. This review is based on the non-response from Rojan Beauty and NOT for any services rendered. Customer service is the key which they are sorely lacking. I found this salon on Groupon and after reading the reviews and before purchasing the Groupon, I called the Salon to discuss the Groupon offer.  The owner was more than happy to offer me the same price as the advertised Groupon price without having to purchase it (unfortunately Groupon takes half when you purchase the deal) and she then made me the next available appointment.  Finding the salon and parking was very easy.  When I arrived she greeted me with a warm welcome and I was completely impressed with her beautiful salon, it is decorated so cute, she has great taste!  Her salon is very clean and she follows all the Covid guidelines.  She discussed my hair color choice with me for my root touch up and matched it perfectly, shampooed my hair, gave me a great cut and after the blow out my hair looked and felt it's healthiest!  This salon has everything you are looking for; it's a beautiful, clean and safe feeling shop with a very kind, knowledgeable, professional human being with great skills!  I also like the fact that this is a small business owned shop which I love to always support. I just can't say enough great things about this salon and the wonderful owner. I went here yesterday for the first time because I had a Groupon for a haircut, wash, style, and partial highlights. I was greeted by Farzaneh, the owner and the primary hair stylist. She was awesome!! The salon itself is gorgeous on the inside and very clean and chic. She was patient and understood exactly what I was looking for before getting started. My hairstylist did amazing. She even applied toner to reassure me that my blonde partial highlights will came out as a beautiful color, no brassiness. She was welcoming, heard my request and transformed my hair. For people worried about Covid protocol, she wears a mask and requests us to as well. Also, sanitizer given before and after you come in. Rzaneh is very friendly, very dedicated with her work and she catches things really fast. She knows exactly what I want and she said she will make it perfect and she did way more than my expectation. I told her I dont want my hair to get damaged so I dont want to go for any bleach but she said with partial highlight she will try to make it look like balayage the most but will not bleach my hair so much. I was doubt at first but after she did the highlight my hair still looks very healty and it 's just exactly what I want. She also advised me how to use shampoo and conditoner and leave in treatment to protect my hair, eps the highlighted parts. Very satisfied with her service. Highly recommend!!!! read more

This appointment was prepaid via groupon. I've been waiting a month for this. Absolutely horrid place. She was half an hour late to the appointment and when I asked her about the wait she tried to cancel and get me to leave. Her reaction surprised me. She was trashing homeless people in conversation with her customer, and how stupid and fake they are. Absolutely disguisting having to sit and listen to that. I went outside to get some air, when I came back she locked me out. When my husband came to pick me up, we found out she called the cops on me. Today I wanted partial hair lights and cut which was 60$ on Groupon ( with additional 15$ ) she told Me she will not honor the price and charge me 120$. When I said let me buy a Groupon then she told me I will charge you 120$ on top of that!! First you ask me not to buy Groupon and then when the price is really low you don't want to honor it!! I purchased a groupon for a shampoo, cut, and partial highlights. I called to make an appointment. The appointment was scheduled, but I was told the earliest available was three weeks away. Then I was told to read my coupon carefully so I would be aware of the extra charges; $70.00 for long hair (which I don't have) She never even asked. Another $70.00 for toner (or the highlights would turn my hair orange). She said there would be other extra charges so I would need to read carefully. I paid $60 for the coupon. What a rip-off if I have at least $150 in extra charges. I said no thank you and I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I have been using Groupn for years and have many wonderful deals. This salon has very bad service... i would not recommended going here.. I went for partial highlights and it is not at all looking like i have done partial highlights... I called her back about this and she was so rude in responding to my concerns and hung up call. Other salons they fix things with no charge and she was asking to me pay extra to fix it. It is waste of money and time. Worst service i have ever seen.. specially when customer is not happy with service received. Very rude in handling customer concern about quality of service. I was able to describe the problem I was having with the crazy waves I have in the back of my head and she was able to do a cut that minimized the waves. I found this place on Groupon for a haircut and wash. BEST EXPERIENCE! First impression of the place, is very CLEAN, the owner is very genuine and cares for each of her customers.
