I have literally never been able to order at this restaurant and they get my order correct. in the 3 years I've lived here I've maybe ordered at this location 15 times. and each time I come here it reminds me why I'd rather make it at home, or go to Taco Bell. and the customer service is horrible. read more

I love this place. It's almost identical to Robertos where I am from. The only complaint I have is that sometimes our food is slightly wrong, not enough to make us not eat it, but when it's a to go order, you can't really send it back. Dont get me wrong the food is pretty good, but the cashier with the footlong acrylic bling bling nails makes me dread coming here. Every single time i come in she walks to the back and chitchats with the cooks and pretends to not see me waiting to order. Ordered breakfast burritos and menudo.. took 40 mins for order.. many people came in got orders and left. Got tired of waiting for two bowls of menudo. I asked for a refund and the in shift manager was pissed and gave me my money and an additional $20.00. Gave the $20.00 back and told em they gave me too much back.. i see that their ticket ordering system is not orderly. Tickets get lost. Several people had to get up and ask for their orders..fix the system and you wont lose customers. read more

I debated on giving this place a 2 star only because I liked the tortillas that I got with my meal. Beyond that the food was horrible. Rice was dry, meat was salty, and the beans were runny. I eat Mexican food all the time and this food hurt my gut. Flavor was off and I got heartburn which I never really get. Wasn't offered salsa and the pieces of meat didn't seem right. Not chunky and were pieces of thinly sliced meat that made me feel like I was eating cheap food. If I hadn't gotten it go I would have complain in person. Would not recommend! read more

This place is delicious! Stopped on my way through on a road trip and had the best beef smothered burrito of my whole life. They are no skimpy on the meat and the whole burrito was just beef and sautéed onions and peppers. Their enchilada sauce is incredible! Loved it. read more

This place is great! If you are looking for some savory tacos come here. The meat is nice and tender and fairly portioned. The pico and guacamole on the tacos make these tacos really good. We stopped here on our way to Utah and are glad we did! The vegetarian burrito was delicious, beans, cheese, lettuce and guacamole with the perfect amount of cilantro. Had some chile verde there. Not as good as that from Rigoberto's but not bad. The pickled carrots were above average. Not a lot in the salsa bar, but the salsa was good. Anyone who has read my reviews knows that I generally subtract one star for no hooch. In this case, I expected it. I am; however, subtracting one star for an advertisement stating they're open 24 hours, and not actually being. Boise is open all the time. But, I suppose I can let this one slide. With that said, it's a Betos. If you've eaten at a Betos; no matter what the name on the sign says, you've had Betos. The only thing I've got to add about this one, they have all those wonderful things you can typically only get at questionable joints available. Lingua? Coming right up. Tripas? You got it. Cabeza? Not a problem. Love it for that. My only complaint besides the hours? I wish Menudo was an all day every day thing. Of course, I'm most likely hungover anytime I'm in here. Give it a go. Great place, traveling you don't know what you are going to get. However, we lucked out here. All the way around great food, excellent and friendly service and good prices. I have eaten Mexican food all my life, so I know what I like. For me the salsa says it all. Rolberto's is a pretty plain diner looking place so I didn't have high expectations. But, wow! I was really impressed. The meat for my carne asada taco was tender with no chewy gristle or chunks of fat as sometimes can happen. Hubby's burrito was chock full of tender pork meat - we couldn't believe how much meat there was. If I'm ever passing by again, I will definitely drop by here. Even if I can't understand the Spanish soccer on the TV, the food is excellent and soccer is fun to watch! read more

The food is quite tasty here. I had a delicious shrimp ceviche tostada, and my husband had an enormous and yummy taco salad in a homemade taco shell bowl. We split a side of chips so we could enjoy the salsa bar, and these were spicy and flavorful. The horchata was sweet and refreshing. This placed has good recommendations, but the food was mediocre at best. I had the chimichanga plate and the rice and bans were substandard. The chimichanga itself was just ok. My wife had the fish taco plate, also not so good. The guy at the register tried to lure me into buying an expensive drink when all we wanted was water.
