Service: Welcoming and very friendly which as I walked around to the other food trucks I found to be rare. The gentlemen provided five star friendly service and I wish I had gotten his name to shout him out. Food: we got the pork Wontons. I was deciding between a single order and a double. He said "you'll want a double" I thought to myself maybe he's just selling them, as would I being in sales. He was not upselling, he knew the flavor was 10/10 and I would be disappointed with a single order. I look forward to trying other items on the menu when I go back tonight! The Wontons: punch you in the face with flavor. Perfect crisp and all around delicious from the first bite to the last. Ambiance: "The Garden" is well kept and you can tell they take pride in keeping it clean. Garbages were never pouring over with trash. Dishes were never piled up in the bins. Came back for more sushi today. We enjoyed the california roll which is made with real snow crab, the spicy tuna which is fresh and has a bit of a kick, and the unagi roll, which is sweet and stuffed with bbq eel. And we also had the lobster tempura which is simply delicious. Chef Judah is cranking out some high end sushi here, and the ramen here is delicious too. RIU has been open only for four months and they are off to a five star start. Its time to stop reading and past time to head over here for some outstanding sushi. read more

Food truck located in an awesome permanent food truck gathering spot in Kihei. We got there around 4pm on a weekday so no line, and the guy took our order pretty quickly. Got the spicy hamachi roll and the firecracker roll as well as the furikake shrimp skewer. The shrimp skewer was amazing-crispy exterior with yummy dipping sauce and small side salad. Sushi was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. Was worth it overall though because love the outdoor ambiance here and the casual vibe. Had to give the Kihei ramen a try! The guy at the window was super nice and it was busyyyy! We started with the mushroom ramen, it was good, the broth was great & flavorful for a veggy one. Overhall we really liked that one. But the mushrooms were not fresh, they were the dried kind, which you could taste. Then we ordered the seafood truffle ramen and the fish skewer. The fish skewer was absolutely delicious! The seafood ramen was meh, not something I'd order again but could see how others could like it. read more

We had 5 rolls that were all very very good but the Spicy Unagi Roll is one of the best rolls I've ever had. The unagi and spicy tuna melt in your mouth and the sauce is subtle but so delicious. Aloha - came here on a Thursday night. Service was pleasant and friendly. I ordered the truffled seafood ramen. I initially tasted the broth and it was fine with it, however as you mix the ingredients and spoon broth from the bottom, the broth was very overpowering. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen a firecracker roll and a tempura roll. One thing I found surprising was the sushi was quite high quality the tuna was melt in your mouth and the tempura inside the roll was crunchy and fresh very much didn't taste or feel like food you would get out of a food truck. The location of the truck was amazing it was in a place with a lot of different food trucks a small grass area with a stage and apparently they do hula shows on that stage but we missed it. The one fault was it took a fair amount of time to get the food but it was worth it because the ramen and the sushi tasted very fresh and good. Would recommend to someone looking for some good sushi and ramen. read more

Agree with the other poster. This place advertises ramen, wastes 20 minutes of your time in line, only to tell you that they don't have ramen. ZERO respect for your time. Change your sign. Put 'sold out' next to your ramen. Do something. They're just doing bait and switch - "Shoot I've already waited in line for 20 minutes. I guess I'll take sushi". Be better. Don't go here. Just came to grab food at my favorite Thai place and saw the Roll It Up was open, and who doesn't love Sushi??? OK, not everyone, but I love it! Basically the dumplings got my attention, then I saw they have sushi rolls and Ramen. Their special for that day is Tonkatsu ramen... looks delicious. Anyway... so like I mentioned, I already ordered food. Decided I could order a sushi roll. Got the spicy Hamachi, $12.50 total w/ tax. Not too bad and what I love about it, the Hamachi isn't all chopped up and doused with spicy mayo. You can actually taste the yummy flavor of the Hamachi. Mahalo Roll It Up. The only thing though is the soy sauce, I'm a purest when it comes to what soy sauce i dip with... no shoyu for me. So try them out, rest of the menu looks Ono.
