    Caesar salad and calamari
    Salma A.

Husband and I had dinner here a few hours ago and we are trying to figure out how to extend our stay so we can eat here once more before heading back home! Yes it was that good! From the food to the staff, everything was beyond our expectations! Beth was amazing, provided the utmost customer service and yes, as much as we loved the food, we'll probably return because of her :) We ordered the calamari, Caesar salad, caprese salad and the truffle gnocchi. All were amazing but I would try the papardelle Alfredo the next time I return! And don't skimp on the calamari cheesecake- best I've ever had!

    Grilled Vegetable Salad

Below average Italian spot. Ordered the grilled vegetables salad ($30) which was nothing special. Vegetables are covered in oil? Added shrimp for protein for $10 and I almost wanted to call and see if it was a mistake that I only received 3. The amount should be stated when ordering, as it is a little comical. Bruschetta has a 1.5 cherry tomatoes on it, also soaked in oil underneath. ($15) Tortellini is also nothing memorable unfortunately, could probably make something similar at home. For the price this place charges, definitely not worth it.

Cliff Notes Price Range: $$ Parking: Plenty Perk: Lasagna Non-Perk: Drink prices $$$ Ambiance: Small restaurant feel Dress: Smart Casual Noise: Low to Med Temperature: Comfy Recommend: 100% Response Time: Fast Professionalism: 100% Date: 2/20/26 Dissertation: This place must be doing something right because we went back three days later just to get the lasagne again. When we first arrived, Lauren was our bartender and she was SO sweet -- the kind of person who instantly makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. Later we sat down for dinner and Niki took over. She was super knowledgeable, on point with everything, and made the whole experience really smooth. Now the food....the lasagna was out of this world. Rich, cheesy, comforting....the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and just appreciate life for a second. It was so good we literally came back a few days later just to grab a to-go order. My only 2 small complaints were the meatballs and the drink prices. Both times the meatballs were a little pink in the middle, the outside had great flavor, but the center had me doing the cautious "let me just check this one more time" inspection. And the cocktails were a tad overpriced for the area (in our opinion). We're not on the strip, but the drink prices kind of felt like we were. That said, great service and incredible lasagne. At this point I'm pretty sure we'll just keep coming back and ordering that... and maybe letting someone else handle the meatballs.

This is my second time here! The restaurant (Roma Kitchen) is located at 10420 S Decatur Blvd #100 Las Vegas, NV 89141. They now have a Happy Hour! The server remembered what I drank! That was two months ago! It smells incredibly clean in here! The layout is quite simple too. To start it out, i'm ordering the S. Pellegrino sparkling natural spring water. The mineral composition includes calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonates, offering a distinct, slightly salty, and refreshing taste profile. I love this stuff! For my first drink, I'm having a Smoked Old Fashioned. This is made with Whistle Pig, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, amarena cherries and an orange peel (garnish). This is perfect! It's well balanced and garnished! They use a large ice cube to skid up the dilution process. You have to love the smoking chest! Very good! I'm impressed! I love the oldies music in here. Decent volume too. For our appetizers, we are having the Bruschetta (which is soft, white cheese (like mozzarella), marinated tomatoes and basil) and stuffed artichokes (made with bread crumbs, olive oil and Parmesan cheese)! The Bruschetta is great! You can smell it when it's served. This is an open kitchen so you can see chefs hard at work. There's people picking up food as well for takeout orders. There's not a lot of decor in here but it's very clean in here. For his entree, my friend is having the Meat Lasagna made with fresh mozzarella and meat sauce. I am having the Chicken Marsala made with butter, Marsala wine and mushrooms. Each entree includes vegetables (broccoli) and potatoes. The broccoli is really good with a peppery flavor. I love those potatoes too! We are also having a side of sautéed spinach. Oh yeah! Those are yummy! I have not had these in decades! My entree is steaming hot and quite good! God, that's good! For my second drink, I'm having the Whistle Pig Manhattan made with Whistle Pig whiskey, sweet vermouth and Amarena cherries. This is good! It's well balanced and nicely garnished. I like the use of the large ice cube too. Mike is having the Carajillo made with Licor 43 and espresso. This is a first for him! Licor 43 (Cuarenta y Tres) is a bright, golden Spanish liqueur made from a secret recipe of 43 natural ingredients, including citrus fruits, vanilla, and aromatic herbs and spices, resulting in a sweet, citrus-vanilla flavor. It's versatile and can be served neat, on the rocks, mixed with soda, milk, or fruit juices, and is famously used in the "Carajillo" cocktail with coffee. Mike says it tastes a bit "nutty." The server is unbelievably attentive and incredibly nice! For my dessert, I'm having the [Jon] Taffer's Brown Buttered Bourbon Affogato. An affogato is a simple Italian dessert made by pouring a shot of hot espresso over a scoop of cold vanilla gelato or ice cream. The name "affogato" means "drowned" in Italian, referring to the way the hot coffee melts the ice cream. It is a quick and easy dessert that can be enjoyed immediately, with optional additions like liqueurs, chocolate shavings, or nuts. I am a huge fan of Bar Rescue! I'm dying to try this! OMG! Look at this! You can pour the espresso and bourbon on the dessert as desired! This is the best dessert I've ever had in my life. It's so easy to eat. Mike is having the raspberry sorbet. He loves it! This music is the bomb! Oldies (40's and up) all night! What a fantastic meal here! You can't go wrong!

    Bottle of Caymus

Wow what a great dinner. I had the special that included a bottle of Caymus for 2 for only $100! The service And food was amazing. I'll definitely be back with friends.

I have been wanting to try Roma Kitchen for quite some time as it's around the corner from my home. Stopped in on a Thursday evening shortly after they opened. It was HH, and the bar was full (HH pricing is only applicable at the bar). The portions were very generous, and the food was excellent! I had the chicken parmigiana, and my mom had the bolognese. I will not hesitate to order either again! I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes though. Now on to the service.. when we arrived, there were maybe 2 other tables that were occupied. We were greeted promptly by the sweetest young lady! She was absolutely delightful, however, the service was extremely slow, and she didn't have much help. The restaurant quickly filled up as people were steadily coming in. I recommend sitting at the bar if you don't wish to have long waits for your food or drinks.

Came here for dinner while in town. Great service as Blake was very entertaining. Ordered a Ceaser salad, pasta and a chicken parmigiana. Food was excellent and came out promptly. Prices reasonable for Vegas. Tiramisu for dessert was excellent. Nice ambiance with nice music. Will be back.

The sauce is on the sweeter side, the fresh basil on top makes it a nice treat. I enjoyed the dish but wouldn't get it the next time, I would try something else. not that it isn't good, it is, just not a dish that makes you crave it next visit. Melrose - full of favorable sauce. Tons of shrimp and just overall a great dish. This has roasted pine nuts on it. Angel hair pasta with shrimp and oil and basil sauce. Now this is a quick little secret get the side dish of it. It's basically the size of a full entrée and it's cheaper than the tomato basil that's listed on the main menu. Get it topped with shrimp and the shrimp is to die for it has super flavor. We got six of them on the pasta. It hit the spot. Bread for the table was a hit. It's cut up full of butter full of garlic. Loved it.

My husband and I started with the Caprese salad, which was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The complimentary bread came out warm and was the perfect addition while we enjoyed the salad. We decided to split the agnolotti, and WOW, this was the standout dish of the night. The pasta, the sauce, everything about it was absolutely superb. We literally licked the plate clean! This is a dish I would come back specifically for. My husband ordered the chicken parm and loved it. It was a generous portion and the chicken was juicy. I had the sea bass, which was also a great portion and came with the most delicious sauce. Everything came together so well. For dessert, we ordered the mini doughnuts, which were the perfect way to end the meal. We were completely full and very happy! Overall, Scarpetta made my birthday feel extra special. You can't do a Vegas restaurant query on any search engine without coming upon Esther's Kitchen,…read morethe award-winning spot in the burgeoning Arts District -- but this is not because of paid ads, it's because this restaurant is just flat-out fantastic, and should not be missed. Esther's is equally admired for brunch and dinner, but I came in for an evening meal and was seated in a good spot at the bar. The decor is a mix of homeyness and industrial chic, with calm lighting, lively music, and very comfortable seating. It's a fairly big place with a lot of tables, but everything has been well-spaced, so the busyness of the restaurant creates a festive mood without feeling crowded. The staff is moving fast, but they always greet you with a smile and a friendly demeanor, so you really feel comfortable settling in for the evening. My bartender/server was Tyler, who is 100% on his game mixing drinks, taking food orders, and chatting up the customers. Another very good egg in a town with lots of great servers. He whipped up a very tasty martini with blue cheese olives, and made sure to make menu suggestions to this first-timer. I began with an order of the Baked Mussels in Nduja Butter, topped with breadcrumbs. I'd seen photos online, and I was very excited to try this -- but my imagination couldn't hold a candle to the reality of this dish. The mussels themselves were plump and briny and fresh as can be, while the nduja-infused butter was savory and spicy and altogether crave-inducing. It would be easy to eat plate after plate after plate of these mussels all day long. Just wonderful. For my main I went with the Calabrian Pork Sausage, served atop lentils that have been stewed with onions and tomatoes. The large ring of sausage (I'm told the serving averages out at a full pound) is expertly chargrilled and boasts a complex flavor profile combining herbs, spice and just the right amount of fat. The accompanying lentils are a hoot -- quite wonderfully cooked to mimic campfire baked beans, their sweet, tomatoey taste profile being the perfect foil for the charred sausage, evoking the most upscale expression imaginable of franks & beans. This is just a winner, though the portion is enormous and really should be shared. I very much wanted dessert, as I imagine their Basque Cheesecake or Butterscotch Budino would be fantastic, but I just didn't have room for another bite. That said, I will be back, and I will be trying other things (including that dessert), and right now I'm multi-tasking: Yelping while searching flights to come back soon for dinner, or brunch, or both with a nap in-between. Don't miss this place. And definitely get the mussels!!!
