Such a great experience at Romanaccia! The pizza was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and loaded with vegetables. Everything tasted so fresh, and the crust was perfectly baked. You can really tell they put care into the food. Definitely a place I'd come back to and recommend to others!"

Savory craving satisfied! Came in through the Too Good To Go app and now I'm definitely a customer for sure! I received four different slices: pepperoni, mushroom, veggie, and Margherita. The slices were generously sized, and they even gave me instructions for reheating them at home, which I appreciated. After reheating, the crust came out perfectly crispy on the outside while still airy and light on the inside. I purposely chose different flavor profiles for some variety, and I'm glad I did. The Margherita was my absolute favorite, followed by the veggie and then the pepperoni. I didn't get to try the sausage myself, but my nephew did and gave it a thumbs-up! The sauces were great as well. I usually enjoy a saucier pizza, but with this style of crust, I actually think the sauce-to-crust ratio was spot-on. The Margherita was truly chef's kiss... simple but so flavorful. The veggie had a great variety of toppings and flavors, while the pepperoni was just slightly too salty for my taste. Other than that, everything was really good. It's a smaller restaurant but it's clean and has nice interior. Parking is either valet or street. Anywho, I noticed they have some other interesting flavors that I didn't get to try that day, so I'll definitely be back. The potato pizza is calling my name, and I also want to try the dessert Nutella pizza next time!

The best pizza in LA! Authentic ingredients and great customer service. It's like traveling to Rome without leaving California. I look forward to visiting every time I am in the area

This restaurant will have you feeling like you are in Rome. The pizza is very authentic plus always fresh; this is a must try if you are visiting or a native Angelino. After speaking with the owner, who is from Rome, he imports the ingredients from Italy. This is why the food is so good without any of the stomach pain. You can tell this operation is a labor of love. Staff is phenomenal and parking shouldn't be an issue. Ambiance is great within this clean restaurant. Portions are generous and the pricing is very fair considering you are getting high-quality Roman ingredients.

My family has a new favorite top tier pizza spot....we were watching California live today and it looked super good, so we ordered a Pepperoni Pie and had it delivered. Placed the order at 4:17pm and it was at my doorstep bu 5:16..of coursewe tipped the UberEats driver nicely...and we're in South LA. It arrived and I PROMISE you it's not going to disappoint you or you belly. Couldn't get a picture fast enough. The flavors are on point the crust is absolutely tasty. YOUR ADULT TASTEBUDS WILL THANK YOU. ‍Run don't walk get one for your family tonight we'll DEFINITELY be ordering again

As a regular Hollywood Farmers Market shopper, some time ago, I passed the former Frog froyo space and saw a banner in the window announcing a Roman-style pizza place. I took a picture of it, and then I waited. For a while, it was just the banner, but then about a week ago, it was clear that there had been serious movement: There was a restaurant inside, largely furnished, but still not quite open. Tonight, I was having one of those "I want to go out to eat but there are way too many options near me" moments, and I stumbled upon a mention of said pizza place--and that they were open! I love pizza, and I love new restaurants, so with a little prayer to the restaurant gods that they were really open, off I went. They were indeed open--their very first day of service. It's a small spot--four four-tops inside--but the decor is both comfortable and attractive. It's similar to NY-style slice spots in that you order your individual "piece" of pizza from the display up front, but instead of a triangular slice, you order a small rectangular pizza al taglio. They then heat it up and serve it to you. I started with pepperoni, because a classic is a classic for a reason. At this point, I need to make a confession: I wasn't particularly familiar with Roman-style pizza. But apparently it's characterized by an airier texture and a "snap" in the crust when you take a bite. This has both of those, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients (e.g., the olive oil). Next, on to the potato, sausage and mushroom pizza. This one was even better, and I added just a light sprinkling of chili flakes, which served as a great counterpoint to the potato in particular. And again, a crispy and airy crust that I was enjoying more and more. Finally, I tried what was effectively a nutella sandwich made from their pizza dough. It worked. It really worked. I think it's the lightness of the dough, the crispiness of it all and then the combination of salty and sweet. It's a really clever way to take something savory and turn it into dessert. Service is friendly and welcoming, and while admittedly the price point here is higher than you would pay at the hole-in-the-wall spots on Hollywood Blvd, you're paying for a much more artisanal level of pizza-making from people who clearly take pride in their craft.

Hands down the best pizza I had in a really long time! The pizza tasted extremely fresh and tasted like good quality ingredients. It was so good I had to get up and get another pizza! Lasagna one was recommended by the guy working and wow so delicious! Also tried the potato pizza which was just as good! Great customer service and beautiful place to sit and eat!

Okay, okay Romanaccia, I see you. Not bad. Not bad at all. A very light and pastry like pizza. I had the pepperoni and I didn't think the flavor was anything extraordinary. Very basic but then I did order a very basic pepperoni. The staff is very nice and the place is very clean. The prices for a slice are high. $14 for what they call a slice that gets sliced into 4 rectangles. But still if you take their offer of $20 you get two slices and a drink I think he said and that would seem a better deal. I'll definitely go back and try some different pizzas. Good to have it in the neighborhood.

I lived in Rome for 19 years and this place stands up well. Very light and crunchy crust. I'll be back

Romanaccia brings a fresh take to pizza culture to LA. The pizza crust is light, airy and super flakey. Can't wait to go back!

The lasagna slice is also amazing. This is a great place for a quick bite or late night snack!

The Caesar salad was probably one of the best Caesar salads I've had. It was light, crisp, and refreshing without feeling overly heavy. We also had the crudo, which was excellent, and the burrata with tomatoes and crispy bread -- so simple but so good. Everyone at the table was loving it. But the pizzas were definitely a highlight for me. I love the square shape and that thick, crispy dough. And the chili oil they give you on the side is SO good. Such a great little touch and definitely something I kept going back to. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a really nice patio and a lovely indoor space. The staff was friendly, they have a great wine list, and we had a delicious Blanc de Blancs sparkling that paired perfectly with dinner. Overall, De La Nonna is just a great restaurant for a relaxed dinner with good food, good wine, and good company. I'm glad I got to come back because I definitely appreciated it even more this time around.

We started with the Insalata Mista. The lemon honey dressing for this salad was delicious. That was my favorite of the evening. We also got the squash blossom which had a nice cheese pull. Our mains were the Maccheroni Pasticciati (pasta) and Spicy Salame Calabrese Tartufato (pizza). The pizza was tasty but it was the pasta that really stood out. It was al dente with the melted cheese charred bits adding a nicer bite. We ended with Pistachio Gelato which was light on the pistachio flavor. We made it just under two hours for the meal.
