The Macaroni Grill is so nostalgic and it's such a shame that there aren't many left! I always love drawing on the table over dinner. The bread is still just as amazing as I remember it being when I was a kid. The caesar salad was also amazing. I ordered the spaghetti and it came with angel hair pasta which isn't my favorite noodle shape so it was a bit disappointing. The meat sauce was also amazing bit watery. I'm giving them 3 stars because I feel like the pasta should've been the star of the show given this is the macaroni grill but the bread and salad stole the show. read more

Nice Atmosphere Love the lighting and ambiance. Nice music too - 50s Italian. I had the shrimp scampi. It's not on the menu but they graciously made it for me. Yum! Spinach dip is great! Food was delicious with generous portions. We had enough left overs for dinner the next day. Our waiter anticipated our need for refills on our waters and additional fresh bread with olive oil with a sprinkling of herbs and I balsamic vinegar. We all shared a Calamari appetizer. Marco provided great service and we had a great meal in the main dining area at a quiet and roomy round table. The server got one ingredient correct out of 6 with the build-your-own pasta, I received the wrong beer, the dessert order was mixed, and we sat at the table for 115 mins waiting in total. Everything took forever on the part of the server, and it seemed like she was aloof and didn't care. One dish came out correctly, and it was my wife's pasta. After a brief wait, we were seated by the hostess and our waitress tended to us very well. Drea was fantastic, funny, and provide great service during our visit. The food was fresh, prompt and we all ate very well. The calamari and bruschetta appetizers were fantastic, and everyone finished their entrees without issue. I really wish we had more of these here in Colorado! These restaurants are so much better then Olive Garden and they have such a better atmosphere and feel to them! I always love the décor inside and the way the lighting is! Our server was great and took awesome care of us. It took a little while for them to get to us at first but we had gotten there right when they opened so they were still getting things situated. Our gal was always checking on us and making sure we had what we needed. The food was really good too besides the mozzarella sticks. We both had the Penne Rustica for our main dish and it was so good! Super creamy and had a great flavor to it! The bread too was amazing as it always is and I could've had that alone and been happy! I met my sisters here for dinner. Our waiter Joseph was excellent and attentive. The ambiance here is always very nice. We had their 2 for 1 appetizers and got the bruschetta and brussel sprouts to share, along with their complimentary bread. The appetizers were delicious! I ate too slow and only had one serving of the brussel sprouts and one piece of the bruschetta. Lol My sister got her favorite mushroom ravioli, my sister in law got the chicken Mac and cheese, and I got, a special request, shrimp scampi. Our entrees came out looking marvelous and hot! Oh my goodness! This time was probably the most delicious and excellent tasting entrees ever. My sisters really enjoyed their entrees. I absolutely loved my shrimp scampi. The chef was so kind in creating a shrimp scampi dish just for me, which does not exist on their menu. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Yes! I cleaned my plate and loved every savory and scrumptious bite of it. Lol This time here, was by far the best experience from service to food ever! What a wonderful dinner! Give our waiter and chef who made my dish a raise! What a disappointment. We usually enjoy a nice evening out by having dinner here and are generally really pleased with the restaurant ambiance, service, and food quality. Last night we decided to order out and not only was dinner for 2 adults and 1 kid $85 but the food was over salted, the spaghetti had absolutely no sauce, they got our drink order wrong, and the side of broccoli that we paid $5 for was laughably small. We went here at about 2:30pm on a Wednesday for the first time. The bread we got was extremely hard on the outside and had a bland taste but we figured thats how it was supposed to be. But the table next to us then got bread they could pull apart with their fingers. The parm sandwich was okay just needed salt and pepper. The calamari had no seasoning either. The server was nice but rarely came by. Overall would not recommend for lunch, hopefully the dinner service is better. read more

I was excited to dine at Romano's Macaroni Grill after my last visit years ago (I moved so no Romano's close to my current town). From the outside, the restaurant seems inviting. A different story on the inside; too dated. The server knew his way around - I'll give him 8 out of 10. Unfortunately, the food did nothing to motivate me to come back. I had two appetizers; they were just OK - nothing special. My favorite dish "Pasta Rustica" lacked flavors and the texture of the ingredients reminded me of leftovers from 2-3 days ago. I just had a very strange experience in curbside. Called to pick up food. First was asked to come inside and had to remind them they come out. Then when they came out they didn't bring the payment machine. When I asked why he just said he didn't bring it. I really dont like people walking away with my card and making me wait needlessly. We hadn't been to a Macaroni Grill in years and we're glad we gave it another try. We ordered the create your own pasta and let the sever know we would be splitting it (between myself and my husband) and we got the unlimited side salad with it. We also ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and grilled asparagus sides. Everything was delicious! The bill was super reasonable for the amount and quality. We'll be back sometime. read more

Actually, I'd say 3.5ish but they're operating sooo obviously short-staffed, it's hard to complain! Upon arrival, there was no one manning the Host Station ~ nor was there anyone in sight ~ not in the Bar, the open Kitchen area, nor on the Floor. Fair number of unbussed, empty tables but no diners, either. It was confusing because I had just recently called ahead to confirm they were, in fact, open on the Holiday. By the time the Host appeared, there were three parties waiting; a fourth had come and gone. A shame. Oops. My server/bartender (I chose a booth in the Bar area), Sarah, was most friendly, professional and attentive throughout my lengthy stay (A/C out at home; I was in the mood to stay awhile and enjoy a leisurely paced dining experience.) Wasn't completely familiar with the Menu, but knew enough to satisfy my foodie inquiries. Ordered the Caprese Salad and the Mushroom Ravioli and their warm bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (of course). Not an awesome experience. Came in for an early dinner on a Saturday, not busy at all but the service was slow. Beer glasses were full of finger prints. Steak was served with some weird green butter (was regular butter last time) just spend $86 on dry fettuccine, over salted bread, dirty glasses, weird steak, spicy broccoli. After a long day a the ball field, my go to meal is always pasta. This restaurant is right across from where I was staying this past week and I had been WAITING to try it. My teammates and I got there probably and hour before closing time, and it wasn't that crowded since it was so late. The first thing I noticed was the paper on the table when we sat down. Normally nice restaurants have white tablecloth but this was literally paper across the whole table. Some of you might be asking "why is that so significant? Isn't that unprofessional?". I would argue that it is a GENIUS idea. These days is teenagers are generally on our phones most of the time because that's how we stay in touch with everything that's happening in the world. Even at dinner time, especially after games, we may want to just sit on our phones and relax. The downside to this is that we don't really socialize because we can just sit on our phone. With this paper on the table, my friends and I were able to get crayons and COLOR ALL OVER THE TABLE. I don't think I've ever looked at my phone so little during a meal. I kind of wish every restaurant did this because we literally just doodled and played hang man the whole meal! What's even better is that for parents with young kids, this is an easy way to keep them occupied. Now to the meal, our server was super sweet and got us our drinks quickly. The best part, my mom, sister, and I all shared something called "mamas trio" (something like that). It was three meals that we could split, and we told them that. When they brought the food out, they had already evenly split all three meals onto three plates so we wouldn't have to! (That's what is shown in the picture below) Because of this, I actually ate all of my food since it was already split. If you want to share something, get that trio meal! Fun story: When you order from Twisted Mac on Uber, you get Macaroni Grill. When you go to review Twisted Mac, you can't find it. But a quick address search led me here, and now everything makes sense. The food was pretty bad my dudes, fries were barely cooked, Mac and cheese didn't have sautéed onions or hamburger, and the raviolis were super undercooked. Bonus points for false advertising yourselves as something other than Macaroni Grill though, guess it makes sense considering the reviews here. I bet you have people working really hard in the kitchen, maybe they need better tools or training, or maybe you should pay them more to care? read more

The food came out to us with a questionable temperature for something that took at least 20 minutes to make it to our table. The price for the quality they are serving just doesn't add up. It felt like they had a batch they warmed up in a microwave and served to us. Stay far away from the Italian cream soda as well, it tasted like chemicals. I wouldn't have had an issue with the service if it didn't take him 20 minutes to bring us a check. The server was fairly nice just seemed like he had too many tables and couldn't juggle everything. Amazing food quality as usual, the Mac and Cheese bites were perfectly fried. My fiancé got the Mama's trio and he could barely finish the lasagna after we stuffed ourselves with those Mac bites and Bruschetta. I haven't had the Butternut Tortellaci in years but it was exactly what I remembered and the prosciutto was perfectly salty to compliment the rich cream sauce. Joe was our server and was perfectly polite and excellent service. Greeted us and got us everything at a perfect pace.
