    Two cheese slices
    Stephanie D.

I always go to the location on Grand St but I was near this location so I figured I'd give it a try. Ordered two slices of plain cheese and was confused when it came to $8 and change. I looked at the receipt and the cashier accidentally charged me for a can of soda. It wasn't a big deal but he was so apologetic but I told him a few times it wasn't a big deal. They refunded me and charged me correctly. Problem solved. Nothing to be sorry about. =) The pizza was delicious. I think they may have used more than one kind of cheese but idk. I just know it was good. I like this location better to be honest. It's MUCH bigger than the one on Grand St, has a bathroom, more seating......would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

The pizza was the perfect snack after a show at the Warsaw. Crunchy and delicious, I could've had another slice. The service was super quick. Ambiance very casual.

Delicious pizza. Crust is nice and crispy. A great stop on our pizza crawl. Grandmas slice was really good because the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. Cheese slice was a classic. Def recommend

Rome to Brooklyn was surprisingly really good! My friends and I stopped by before heading to the bar down the street and was satisfied by our pizza. The place was a no-frills pizza spot and wasn't too busy. We each got a garlic knot and I got a vodka pesto grandma slice which I thoroughly enjoyed. The slice was thick, the bottom was crispy, and I liked the pesto! The rolls were also pretty good but I wish it was more cheesy and garlicky. Overall, Rome to Brooklyn is a great pizza spot!

Solid place to get a slice! I find it kind of hard to rate pizza, because I feel like at a certain point, it's all the same to me lol. That being said, I thought the crust had a good texture, and the toppings were yummy. I love a white sauce mushroom pizza, so of course I had to get a mushroom slice. I do wish that more of their slices came in a triangle shape though, because I'm not a huge fan of square slices.

    Hey G.

Rome to Brooklyn 587 Manhattan Ave $3 a slice and $2 for a Coke. Just sharp, consistent pizza baked with care. That alone makes Rome to Brooklyn stand out in a neighborhood where slice prices often creep toward $5. What you get here isn't a reheated corner slice; it's pizza that reflects craft and intention. The crust is the first giveaway. Each pie comes out with a golden, crisp base that crunches cleanly without losing its airiness. It's thin but not brittle, light but structured. You can tell someone's watching the bake closely. A thin sheen of pizza oil glistens on top -- just enough to catch the light and remind you this is still Brooklyn, not Bologna. The plain slice is solid, but not where Rome to Brooklyn shines. The real gems sit on the bottom row of the glass case-- the vodka burrata, Grandma, and a rotating lineup of creative pies that show off the shop's skill and range. Those slices have more character: richer sauces, clever toppings, and a bake that brings everything into focus. Inside, the space feels considered and modern without crossing into pretentious. There's plenty of seating, clean design, and an easy calm that makes it equally suited to a solo lunch or casual dinner. Beyond pizza, the menu branches out with sandwiches, pasta, and panzerottis, giving it the feel of a neighborhood Italian kitchen rather than a strict slice shop. Rome to Brooklyn doesn't chase trends; it perfects fundamentals. It's a place where the price stays fair, the crust stays crisp, and every pie feels intentional. Bottom line: In any other town, this would be the best pizza around -- but even in Greenpoint, it's near the top of the heap. 8.5 / 10

Pizza is good but not as good as the original locations! Regular cheese was greasy and not super crispy but specialty slices were good!

Very Brooklyn vibe pizzeria. After much deliberation, ordered a mushroom grandma pie to go. Mushrooms were a plenty, fresh & meaty. Crispy & not bready crust. Garlic infused tomato sauce, could have used just a tad more salt. Service couldn't have been any friendlier. I will definitely go back & try a regular pie.

Absolutely phenomenal! We were visiting from St. Louis and staying in Manhattan but as pizza lovers naturally wanted to try pizza in Brooklyn, and this place was such a peak experience! The service was just above and beyond, and the pizza was SO incredible!! We tried so many different kinds and they were all SO good. Will not disappoint, and look forward to visiting again next time I'm here!

from top to bottom: margherita, buffalo chicken, romano, burata with pesto and vodka, mushroom and truffle oil, and grandma pepperoni

What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Lots of seafood and the pasta was fantastic! Nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Good service. Not sure what the menu currently says, but the menu from just 3 months ago said it's 18% for a party under 6. Maybe they've changed it. Not sure. This is the first restaurant we've been to with 20% auto gratuity for a party under 6. But the borderline dishonest part is that the check that you sign tells you in tiny letters that tip was already added, but has huge font for additional tip and written out tip calculations, so it is very easy to tip 40% without noticing. Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.
